Aaaaand he thought our anniversary was tomorrow. Oh well. He brought me home a DP and said we should have a mini date tomorrow before our big date on Saturday!

So kicking myself in the ass right now. So the nurse manager from the hospital that I really really want to work at in my home town just emailed me. I responded. And then I realized the huge auto correct typo. Just shoot me.
So a friend works for a company that has just come out with this insanely awesome pregnancy/post pregnancy app/tracker explosion with all of these accessories like a heartbeat doppler, a scale that can track yours and your baby's weight (weighted feedings and all), and even this little device that tracks your stress levels and sleep patterns while pregnant (through your heartrate). I'm going gaga over the whole caboodle and it's making me want to be pregnant again right stat now so I can ooh and ahh over the gadgets.
And after finally cutting tooth #2, J is back to the great little sleeper he is... Phew. Needed it.
I'm sad parenting didn't take @Vinny424 seriously. I also think it should be renamed from "parenting" to " a bunch of people that have been here forever"
Lol, I think "parenting" should be renamed "people who are on the Internet too much to do any actual parenting."
Looking for a "fancy" restaurant for our date on Saturday, and I came across a steakhouse where the cheapest steak is $38! Holy moly!! And the most expensive is $125 with $40 for each additional 2 ounces. @-) Ho.ly. Crap. Who has that kind of money!? And if you do... WHY. I think I would just hire my own personal chef to cook for me at home. Good grief!!

Where I'm from, that's normal. In fact, that is just what to expect when going out for dinner. It's horrendous!
Ugh. I would never go out then. There's no Chili's or Olive Garden!? Or a Beni Hana if you're feeling fancy??

I've screamed twice (mostly out of surprise), not sure how DD is still asleep. And of course, DH is out helping a friend track a deer so I'm here alone. I was seriously sitting on the couch pumping and this little f*cker was on the cushion next to me chilling. WTF?!
Well the baby finally bit me. She bit down and drew back. She had the most evil smile as she did it. DH and I watched in horror as my nipple stretched to seemingly impossible lengths. I have inspected the mouth. No signs of teeth in the slightest. I put her down and she started laughing. She is defiantly not the boob addict #1 is. We may need a different "bitting punishment"
@edoliesmom if you want to drive up to Houston, I can recommend some places. I know of some good steak houses in the Galleria area. My favorite is downtown by Minute Maid Stadium, but it Is really pricey!
OMG DS2 is usually a great sleeper, but he's already been up a bajillion times tonight. DH was finally getting him back to sleep and DS1 woke up screaming. I finally got him back down, got ready for bed and DS2 woke up again. Why do they always work together?!
I'm ready to kill DH. I have been doing this for 6 and half months now, not one solid night of sleep for 6 and half months. Not one night off!! I keep saying I need a night off and he replies I don't have boobs. I keep telling him feed him a bottle, but he won't do it. So I decide to work on sleep training, I ask for him to go in and comfort and he doesn't last 30 secs before yelling in the monitor for me to get in here. I come in here for him to say that he doesnt have the patience to deal with G and he leaves and goes back to bed. This is unacceptable. We are having a talk in the morning.
I, on the other hand, am the bitch in our house. DH has been sick for the last two days. He asked me to stay home, so I did. Silently grumbling that if the tables were turned he would not be staying home with me if I was sick. He basically just stayed in bed for two days straight. Talk to some friends and everyone has been "men, cant hack it".
well, this afternoon, DH was admitted into hospital.
Don't I feel like a douche

@RedDawnsRevenge I feel your pain. Aiden has been doing this for a while, complete with lopsided, goofy, smirking grin. I do not look forward to teeth, because I haven't found anything that gets him to stop yet; it's just a giant game to him... My boobs on the other hand, do not agree.

This is cute and funny (especially at the very end) but it made me sad too, since you're essentially watching this baby growing up a little. It made me think about how fast Aiden is growing and how much I want these baby days to slow down.

Thanks, but we're wanting to go somewhere more close to home! I would probably be a nervous wreck if I went that far without baby girl. lol We're going to eat at a German restaurant. Sounds really promising!

Mmmmmm. Jealous right here.
I just read that it was voted #1 best German restaurant in America from 2012-2013, so that's pretty cool.

Sounds fun!! Have a great anniversary date night! B-)
Thanks for asking about DH, i was going to write more but fell asleep.
No idea. Whats wrong, some viral thing but its not the flu and he has some weird symptoms. They are concerned because hes getting joint pain. Its mostly just for observation but his BP was high and his temperature was all over the place.

DD1 throws things when she's in trouble and has something she knows she shouldn't. We were out in the garage watching DH clean when she picked up the car soap. I told her to put it down, and she threw it. The plastic container broke. There's soap everywhere inside and out of the garage.

Re: Longest Thread EVER! (aka Random Thoughts Thread )
I'd give up booze for a year, no contest. What you are describing is a fate worse than dial-up.
By a mouse.

I miss you ladies, and wish there were more hours in my day. Xoxox!

Just got an ice cream cone and it was the best thing ever!
