I am having a hard time being grateful today, seeing as how AF showed on a cycle when we had two mature follicles. BUT, I will spin it as best I can.
I started today, but I am grateful for a longer (for me, more normal) cycle. Instead of 25 or 26 days, it was 27 days and I feel better about my luteal phase not being too short...
And like @SnobunnieMel, I just continue to be grateful for my husband.

-Today I am grateful for the oversized brownie sundae I had out to dinner last night. Life is too short not to occasionally go overboard on dessert.
- Starbuck's Black Tea Lemonade. They are totally overpriced, but I treat myself to them once in a while when I need a little something.
- Sunny weather that is feeling more spring/summer like.
- Supplements that make me feel like I am at least doing something to give myself a better chance, even if it's minimal. It makes my WTO period at least seem purposeful.
@BornReady a sundae sounds amazing and I totally hear you on the supplements. Anything I can control is helpful.
Right now I feel thankful for this board. I feel like a lot of people IRL don't know what I'm talking about or are ready for me to stop talking about what I'm going through post-loss so it is so wonderful to have a place to share and feel supported.

I am thankful that DH is just as TTC obsessed this month as I am. It makes me not feel crazy. Last night he made sure I was using preseed and after relations forced me to put pillows under my hips. His comment was "it worked before so we better do it again" in reference to our first loss. He is willing to everything under the sun this month and it helps me not feel as alone in really working toward this.
I I am also thankful for patients that bring us lots of donuts. My hormone headaches and mood swings from black cohosh seem to really enjoy them.
Today I'm thankful for teleworking tomorrow followed by a long weekend visiting family.
I'm also thankful for my puppy that we got last month. He has been my lifesaver this past cycle and I will need him even more in the upcoming weeks as I pass my EDD.
I'm also thankful for my wonderful DH. He's so supportive throughout all of this
Of course, I'm also thankful for dark chocolate... Mmmm...

Today, I am thankful for chocolate. I'm likely ovulating as we speak, and I tend to have "mini-PMS" around this time. Right now, I'm eating some homemade puppy chow with no regrets!
I'm also thankful for this board, my workplace, and my amazing husband. I'm a puddle of gooey emotions this morning.
OMG @dubcompanion I LOVE puppy chow, so jealous of you right now!
I'm thankful that my hubby has supported me "retiring" for the remainder of 2016 and that I've been able to use my new found free time to get outside and enjoy nature with my pup Our 2.5 mile walk through the woods at 5:30 this morning was so serene and pretty!

I am thankful for a long weekend. Normally holidays like this get stressful trying to split time between our families, but I am feeling super zen about it.
DH and I have a dinner date and shopping/errands later today/tonight and I am thankful for that time we have.
Donuts. I am also thankful for them. I am on a serious sugar binge today...maybe it's the Clomid, regardless, my donut + coffee =
Whoaaa puppy chow is not really a thing here but boy do I love cereal bars. I might make something similar but with butterscotch chips instead of peanut butter because of DH's allergy (and brown rice krispies because he's also allergic to the barley in regular).

@rainbowturtles Great to hear you had a normal cycle. Was this your first cycle temping?
@soontobemommahowe I'm jealous of the 2.5-mile walk through the woods you got to take! It's all farmland and residential around my neck of the ...non-woods.
@dubcompanion Surprisingly, yes! I've always charted and checked CM but there's something very reassuring about seeing those CH and temp shift. I'm benched/TTA for three more months but thought I could take this time to check out my cycles and see if everything seemed okay, at least
@reneeannemm - cute dress - I just got this dress at a discount from a friend who is the only authorized vendor in Canada (they call them trunk keepers). Her sample was in my size - that is what I'd worry about with ModCloth - fit and shipping/returns...
Thankful for my students - they are so rad and make me so hopeful for the future. I'm just sad I have to say goodbye to another bunch of them in the next couple weeks....

@rainbowturtles That's doubly awesome that you were able to notice a normal cycle! You've given me inspiration and motivation begin temping the next cycle if this one doesn't result in a BFP. I was going to start temping this cycle, but that never panned out lol. Now that I think about it, a good way to spend my upcoming TWW should be researching basal thermometers.
@dubcompanion - hands down the one I hear the best reviews of is Mabis - I actually ordered one. It measures in Fahrenheit so I have to use an app to convert that to Celsius but that likely wouldn't be an issue for you. And at under $10 USD it is a good deal.
@catiecatp Thanks for the recommendation! I'm reading up on it now, and it looks like The One - great price and great features (Fahrenheit def works for me)! Dang, that was fast. Now what am I going to do for the next 14 days??
@catiecatp I think I need a new thermometer...the one I got I don't know if it's the most accurate. It has a lot of favorite temps it seems, might be time for a switch!
I have another one that I've used for awhile - and it only goes to one decimal place (which is about .18F). The nerd in me temped for awhile with both but I made the switch this month. I think the Mabis records about .2C lower than the other one - but sometimes more and sometimes less. I like some features of the other one better - it beeps periodically while it is measuring and it is backlit when done. I think my old one was fine - but I'm wondering if I'll be able to ID a slow rise pattern better with the finer level of accuracy... I never did go the OPK route this month.
Sorry for solving your research @dubcompanion - you could take up a hobby - I suggest knitting... I could point you in the direction of some good youtube videos or I could let you research them

@dubcompanion - I've heard great things about the youtube channel very pink knits - and if you run across something you can't figure out I'm happy to scout for some good videos or help explain what is going on. If you want a rabbit hole of knitting fun I highly recommend the website Ravelry - it is like FB but for knitters - with all sorts of message boards and groups - and pattern searches and ... yeah I spend more time there than on most social media

Today I am thankful for: - Living near the ocean, getting to play on the beach last night before dinner was so refreshing and reminded me of being a kid again.
- Perennials, watching plants I planted years ago come up and start blooming makes me so happy. I even have to drive by my old house a few times a week and I love seeing all of my hydrangeas and trees blooming and coming to life year after year.
- Smart phones, my siblings both live far away and getting to be in touch so easily through the day by text, phone, photos etc. is awesome. Makes the world feel a little smaller that I can have my people "close by".
- Nice people. My due date is next week and a friend/co-worker of my husband's got me a gift certificate to a local salon. I think I'll get my hair done or something that morning before work.
- As per usual, all of you folks. I've now spent my whole "pregnancy" here and honestly, I'm not sure how I'd have made it without this community. Thanks!

Today I am thankful for:
- Living near the ocean, getting to play on the beach last night before dinner was so refreshing and reminded me of being a kid again.
Thanks!
