Today I am thankful for the health of my friends and family. My amazing and supportive husband. My dog who is adorable and brightens my dark days. And the friendships I have formed while on TB.
I am grateful that my U/S this morning showed a good follicle that is just waiting to do its job! We have an IUI scheduled for Saturday and I am also grateful for that, because we have to travel 2.5 hours to a partner practice for the procedure.
I am grateful for my brother and his wife (who was one of my BFFs before they even met). They live right down the street from us and she gives me all my shots (she's in the medical field). They are also invested in our outcomes, super supportive, and generally just amazing to DH and me both.
I am grateful for our RE, who is semi-retired and continues to see special cases like me just because he is passionate and feels the calling to do what he does. He and his wife run the whole show. No nurses, no techs - just Doctor O and his sweetheart wife, Sharon. They are two of our biggest cheerleaders and I feel fortunate to have such a unique and personal relationship with them.

I am thankful for the thunderstorm happening right this minute.
For days like today, when my motivation was negative and I had the luxury to carpe diem that feeling. Being self-employed has many perks and I am forever grateful for those. DH is in a semi-similar work situation, where he was a lot of flexibility and so we met for an impromptu lunch today.
Vacations. We had been holding off because we didn't want to make big travel plans for the future if I were pregnant, etc...so since that isn't an issue, I feel like maybe if we book a trip to Europe then I'll get KU and we'll have to cancel... One can hope
@KarenBeth714 I do Orange Theory Fitness- they are nationwide and there are gyms all over the U.S. It consists of circuit training on the rowing machine, treadmill and various floor exercises with a TRX, and weights.

Thankful and proud of myself that I'm making a big effort to improve some of my friendship bonds while DH is away. I visited my friend and her baby yesterday and hiked and hung out with another gal friend today, and have another hike planned with yet another gal pal on Monday. I am notorious for being an introvert and a hermit so this is really good for me. I'm also forcing myself to perform at a local event tomorrow (sing and play uke) even tho I haven't felt much like playing music since my mc.
I'm thankful the weather is feeling more like summer again out there....wow, what a gorgeous day!
I'm thankful for feeling positive, despite being CD1. That's a huge change for me.
I'm thankful to be feeling better enough to get back into a more consistent workout routine.
I'm thankful for DH and his patience when my hormones are going crazy and for how hard he works.
I need to spend a couple of minutes being grateful today because I am feeling pretty frustrated. So, in an effort to pull myself out of the pits:
I am grateful for air conditioning. I am grateful for the fact that I live in the low country, am surrounded by beautiful salt marshes and am minutes from the ocean. I am grateful for my fur babies. Dock, the smallest dog is such a cuddler and his nuzzles can go along way in improving my mood. I am grateful that I started and am enjoying a summer book that I got for free through Amazon Prime. I am grateful for Amazon Prime. I am grateful for enchiladas. I am grateful for avocados. I am grateful for pineapple. I am grateful for smoothies. I am grateful for everything bagels. With cream cheese. I am grateful for so much more food (like skittles and potato chips and banana bread), that I could go on and on.... but, I'll stop. I am grateful for you ladies and this outlet, which has saved me from feeling so very alone more than once. xoxo

The freedom that we have. I've been watching the DNC all week and regardless of anyone's political stance, it is a great reminder of what country we live in and we have so much to be thankful for. I need to remind myself of that more often..

Today I'm thankful that my best friend came out of a bad accident on Saturday mostly unharmed. And that we got to meet our favorite author at a book signing yesterday!
I'm also thankful for distractions during my TWW. And that I still feel hopeful for a good outcome while TTCAL.
Today I am thankful for... -the world of farm stands where I got my fresh berries and cucumbers yesterday -people I can rely on to support me -my health. How amazing is that? - Always thankful for you wonderful people for helping create the good vibe on this forum.

Today I am grateful that my husband speaks construction. Our kitchen renovation (due to water damage) is really intimidating to me, but thankfully because he used to work in carpentry, he can manage this project and also can do some of the work himself which will save us some money!
I am also grateful for yoga. I went last night after not going for almost three weeks and when I was done, I felt simultaneously lighter and stronger.

@brooklyngirl18 What a good hubby with the homemade mac and cheese! My mom's mom made the best homemade mac and cheese and it is my ultimate comfort food to this day. Such good memories. My grandmother always paired it with peas and her meatloaf, which seems like an odd combination, but is still a family staple meal at my parent's house, a homage to nanny!
I've actually been so down in the TTC dumps lately I've avoided this thread and had 73 to read through. It was a good reminder of how strong all you ladies are and that I shouldn't have a pity party just because it's getting hard.
Im thankful to finally move forward and try again
this week especially I am thankful for the bond I share with my older brothers. We are planning concerts together next year and even a big family vacation tondosney world now that they are both married with 6 year old step daughters. We are in our 30s and excited about bunking together and riding rides and getting a whole week of family time next year. They also know every step of our struggles and are more supportive than I ever imagined considering it's their baby sister's reproductive organs and they realize how much DH and I are havin to get it on.
I I am thankful for running. I took most of this year off from my first BFP to post loss depression. It's doing wonders and I am finally starting to feel like "me" again for the first time in all of 2016.
I am also thankful for YouTube (don't judge) so I can stream back seasons of my favorite British baking reality show. It's a fun way to spend my off day cooking

@SnobunnieMel I've heard such good things about that baking show. I need to watch it. I think it's also on Netflix. That's so great that you have a close bond with your older brothers! I'm close-is to 2 of my 3 brothers, but we don't talk too much about my TTC issues.
I went to a great conference this week which was great because sometime it takes being with people who you don't directly work with to hold up a mirror to your face to show you the great work that you do. It's hard when you get mired down in the day to day and miss the big picture. I'm thankful that I have a job where I'm able to do good things and get paid well and have amazing benefits. I'm living my 23 year olds self's professional dream.
@chloe97 That's awesome about the conference. I get down on myself about a lot of things, including going to grad school instead of TTC right after getting married. I forget what a luxury it is to love your job and make money doing it. So important.
@SnobunnieMel That's great about the family trip! I have 2 siblings and we all took a trip to Disney last December with our parents, grandkids etc. It was so much fun.
Good co-workers. I had one co-worker bring me a bunch of eggs from her chickens yesterday and another veggies from her garden. I've worked in some places with awful co-workers and it makes such a difference to actually enjoy them.
Rain! Or at least I hope rain. We've had a serious drought this summer and things are looking pretty thirsty. Hopefully, these big clouds deliver.
Community... I'm going to a community clambake for a new group of people just moving into our community. It's a way to welcome them and introduce people to one another. So excited for lobster.
edit to add: I mentioned the kindness rocks project in my area in another post. Today this was the one posted on their Instagram... Always a good message for me to receive!
- DH. He's always there for me, even if he's sometimes mystified by my worrying. His work has been stressing him out a lot lately, so I hope I've been there for him too.
- Yoga. I just recently went back. I got emotionally soured on it for a while- I was going to go to my first prenatal class at my studio the night I found out about my mc. But now I feel like I'm in a better place and I can view it in a healthier way.
- Game nights. We don't have a lot of friends in our new state, but we have a few that come over and play board games with us once a month or so and it's very relaxing.
@lin0442 love my yoga as well! And last night went back for some pilates- yoga hybrid class which was a good mix of body and mind awareness, which I need right now for sure.
- Today, as I try to focus on positives, I am thankful for my insurance. I've had access to the best doctors and most of what I will need for right now will be covered. -our supportive mamas. My mom and mil have been amazing lately in helping us through our next steps. - Our park. We live right next to a pretty big park in the city, right on the water. I walk the dogs there every day along the water. Nice to have such a big green area close by - I don't think I would survive here without it.

I am thankful for DH for sure. He has put up with my crazy for over 10 years now. We celebrate 5 years of being married next month. He has been nothing but supportive during this horrible situation and just always knows how to make me feel better. I think somehow this has brought us closer together.
I'm thankful for my loving and supportive DH. I would do anything in my power to save him from the crap we've gone through in the last 8 months, but since I can't, I'm so incredibly grateful that he's the one walking beside me.
I'm also thankful for puppy kisses and the fact that my puppy runs and launches himself into my arms when he hasn't seen me in awhile.
@RiverSong15 Aren't puppies the best?!? I've never had a pet before so this is all new to me. @BornReady I love that kindness rock. Sometimes we all need to hear that message.
Today I bought a card for my husband since our first anniversary on Monday and I started to think about what I wanted to write in it. I'm amazed that when I think back over the last year how I can honestly say, despite 2 agonizing losses, that I've never been happier in my life. So today I am thankful for my marriage, not just DH, but the actual covenant that DH actively participate in everyday. There is something about knowing that we made a promise never to give up on each other that brings me a sense of peace and security.
@chloe97 That's such a lovely sentiment. There really is something so great about a marriage that people work at. DH and I lived together for 5 years before we got married, and the 5 years we've been together since then have been difficult but our relationship has gotten better through all of it. I liked living together, but the commitment of marriage really enhanced our lives. Happy anniversary to you both!

Today I am thankful for...
-the world of farm stands where I got my fresh berries and cucumbers yesterday
-people I can rely on to support me
-my health. A friend is being treated for stage 3 melanoma at 32. She is engaged, has a baby and is now facing several surgeries and cancer treatments.
-science! I have my FET today and get to have an embryo made 6 weeks ago put back into my body to hopefully grow into a human. How amazing is that?
- Always thankful for you wonderful people for helping create the good vibe on this forum.
Happy FET day, @BornReady! I'm so incredibly excited for you!! I hope the TWW is kind to you and you get to join us soon!

1)Ovulating on day 17 (even if it did mean we missed our FW) bc just maybe that will mean that I'm starting to get back to normal. And we'll have an extra cycle in 2016.
2)Supportive friends who pray for us and send us supplements that worked for them
3)Christmas movies and craft fairs
4)Lunch dates with my former players
5)DH, always DH

@SnobunnieMel That's great about the family trip! I have 2 siblings and we all took a trip to Disney last December with our parents, grandkids etc. It was so much fun.

Today I am thankful for...
So excited for lobster.
edit to add:
I mentioned the kindness rocks project in my area in another post. Today this was the one posted on their Instagram... Always a good message for me to receive!

I'm also thankful for puppy kisses and the fact that my puppy runs and launches himself into my arms when he hasn't seen me in awhile.
what kinda puppy? I have two Australian Shepherds.
