@ReadyForaB wow, we're almost twins! I'm a bit worried about the age gap, but especially with the pandemic, we just weren't ready sooner. But my brothers and I are far apart (currently 39, 35 (me), and 21), so 5.5 years is small by comparison! Plus I'm *hoping* an older sibling will be helpful like I was with my mom (even though I was a teenager).
@L1C4gal Yes we are!! My sister and I are 5.5 apart. I never thought of it as a "big" gap until I was older and people pointed it out as being so lol. If all goes well, this baby and DS will be 6.5 apart. We always said when DS was in kindergarten we would decided. He starts in the fall! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9!

How you found out: took a test after missing my period
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I each have one from before we met. His daughter is 14 and my son is 9. Big age gap! We like going to concerts and listening to music. My son and husband love fishing and my son loves to skateboard. My stepdaughter loves art and thrifting How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally) surprisingly great! I remember being exhausted with my son, but I have been feeling better than I was expecting.
How we found out: Beta blood test about 10 days after a day 5 frozen embryo transfer we've kept on ice since 2018.
About me: Sliding in at 5w2d over here with #3. I carried our first kid in 2015, my wife and I did ivf for #2 in 2019, and this is our last embryo, and she's carrying again this time. I'm 42, work in HR full time, and tend to clean when I'm anxious. My wife is 40, and our 2 kids are 6 and 3. We also have a spaniel dog and she's about 15. We live in Chicagoland and are under contract with buying a larger house for the growing fam. The last 2 weeks have been wild with pregnancy tests, real estate emails from the lawyer/realtor needing things asap. I thought hanging out here could be a welcome distraction.
Introduce yourself: 2nd time mom here, unexpectedly. In Charleston, SC
Due date: 1/6/23
How you found out: missed period, test
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) It's just my son (13) and me. Plus 6 cats and a dog haha. I'm a nurse.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Excited but nervous. So incredibly tired. Minimally sore boobs, no nausea. Little bit of cramping. But the fatigue is a killer.
We are in the same boat. MMC in Oct, nothing till March with a chemical, and now things are looking good at nearly 6 weeks. Fingers crossed for us both.
I literally took a test 2 days ago, I was one day late. I had my IUD taken out about 2 weeks ago and happened to have been ovulating the next day when my husband and I had sex…so we weren’t trying very long!
I have a 3 yo daughter and a husband who’s an electrician. I’m super excited since I loved being pregnant the first time, but also very emotional about it not just being my daughter anymore. Very nervous about the transition and making her feel loved and safe and just hoping to soak in as much 1:1 time as possible while we can. I’m very much in mourning already. Any anecdotal info about the transition from 1 to 2 children is welcome!
No symptoms yet really except I’m already having very specific cravings (like whole meal specific, I had to go buy sausage because I NEEDED to have pasta with sausage and marinara for lunch lol) and notice if I don’t eat immediately after I wake up I get nauseous. Also I’m thirsty all the time. I had preeclampsia with my daughter (she had to be delivered by C-section 6 weeks early) and would also love to connect with anyone who has experience with pre-e in more than one pregnancy or experience with VBAC. I’m nervous about those two things in particular.
Happy to be here! Congratulations to all of us and Happy Mother’s Day!
Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m Lauren I was also super nervous to reply as I was scared to “jinx” it but currently pregnant and have known for a couple of weeks now! Very excited
Due date: My app is saying January 3/2023 but having a dating ultrasound at the end of the month because my HCG levels were very high I’m not sure if I’m further along
How you found out: Had really bad heart burn one evening so decided to take a test, the line was dark right away
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I’m a registered nurse and We have been trying for a while now, we don’t have any children this will be our first. My hobbies are weight lifting and anything active (until I got pregnant now all I do is sleep), my boyfriend is an amazing support who is beyond excited for you his new role
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
I’m very very emotional these last few weeks, I was very hungry for 2 weeks now my appetite has slightly died off as I’m having random bouts of nausea but over all feel good. 12h shifts are hard to make it through and it has resulted in a lot of car naps on my breaks
Hello I am Mikia and I found out I was pregnant a week ago. I have one son who is 3. When I was pregnant with him I didn't have implantation bleeding... However this time I did and it was weird to me so I saw a doctor and boom found out I was expecting in January 8th 2023. I am a bartender waitress and my significant other is a cook , amateur baseball player, and junior high baseball coach . We have been friends for years before dating and our plan was to buy a house and get married before having a baby. My first is with a different guy but that relationship ended due to its toxicity. My significant other loves my son like his own and we couldn't be more excited to add to our little family. He has 2 dogs (male and female) and a male cat and I have a female cat. Our interest are fishing , hunting, going for walks, car rides through our wildlife refuge, taking small trips out of town at least once a month, darts, sports, and overall just being with each other. I am 25 and he is 24 . We are 1 year and 14 days apart. Our birthdays are in December and my son's is in November. Our anniversary is in October. I'm looking forward to adding an extra month of celebrations to my fall/winter schedule !!! I have been nauseous and a little fatigue . And did I mention I have a bicornuate uterus?! Oh the joys ! I actually love being pregnant though.
How you found out: felt weird the week before with cramping (honestly thought it was from dairy) took a test on Mother’s Day and saw a faint line. Got a digital test and got a positive
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
2 dogs and a husband.. I’m currently training for a marathon Memorial Day weekend so I may be running that soon unless doctor says otherwise. Very active and hoping to stay so, but going to listen to my body.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
I have light cramping or just feeling “weird” I know it is very early so I’m trying to take it one day at a time. (But obviously found this group one day after I found out). We are cautiously optimistic but I’m keeping my fingers crossed my doctor will see me before my marathon so I can have some peace of mind
Introduce yourself: Hi everyone! My name is Erin, and I’m 34 years old, and I’m a second time mom from Ohio! I’m so excited to be joining you all!
Due date: January 5, 2023
How you found out: I was on the TTGP page, so we were actively trying for 4 months. About 4dpo I went out to dinner and gagged because the ketchup tasted like vinegar. A few days later I started with morning sickness literally all day. Finally got my BFP Saturday!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am a 3rd grade ELA and social studies teacher in a low income district. My husband is 37 years old and he works at a local university as an assistant director of their learning center. We have a furry child, hunter, who is 12 years old, and a 2 year old son, William. William was born right at the beginning of the pandemic, so I’m interested in seeing how different my experience is this time around. I was very active in the April 2020 BMB.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Pretty rough actually! I didn’t feel this bad with DS, so I’m hoping it’s a sign that this is my girl! I have a massive food aversion to anything that even has a drop of vinegar in it, morning sickness all day, sore boobs on and off, and I am so exhausted all the time!
Introduce yourself: hi! SO HAPPY to be here but anxiously awaiting my first DR appointment to hear a little heartbeat. Had 1 miscarriage in Nov of 2021, so praying this little one sticks.
Due date: 1/13/23
How you found out: tested on may 5th, and have tested each day to see test get darker
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I work in IT and was at a major conference last week! Married and have 2 dogs
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? feeling slightly anxious, pretty tired, and had some light implantation cramps, no one symptoms, which is relieving and nerve wracking all at once.

Due date: 1/12/23
How you found out: took a pregnancy test sitting in the toilet while blowing bubbles for my toddler hahah
Tell us about yourself: I am married to my husband Jacob, and we have an almost 2 year old son named Judah. We also have a corgi/Aussie mix named Theo! I am a life coach and help women walk through new seasons of life, guide them through overthinking, and help them create lasting self confidence. Also I am a Barre instructor. So much fun. We love to ride bikes, hike, and adventure. Our current adventure is visiting all the National Parks!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?: I have a bit of morning sickness. Emotionally I am still in shock that the test had two lines on it, but feeling very grateful 🥹
Introduce yourself: Hi, I'm Jenna and cautiously introducing myself! My husband and I have two daughters, 6 and 4, and I had a miscarriage in Oct 2020.
Due date: Estimated January 17, 2023
How you found out: Woke up this morning and just really felt off, similiar to morning sickness. My period was supposed to start today, but I had an extra test so decided to take it. Was shocked to see the two lines!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My husband and I have two daughters, 6 & 4. I honestly thought we were close to calling it quits, and was pleasantly surprised with the positive test. I'm looking forward to sharing the news with our daughters, they're going to be so excited. We live in Florida and love being outdoorsy, going to the beach, bike riding, etc.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Physically, I have mild cramping, similar to menstrual cramps, slight headache, and nauseous. The nasuesness was the big indicator to me, I only ever feel this way when pregnant. Mentally and emotionally, still wrapping my head around it. My emotions and thoughts have been all over the place today.
Shocked and excited to be here. First time pregnancy over here!
Going off our conception date, we’ll be due 1/5/2023, 5w4days
Waited April for Aunt Flo to come around, but she never did! Tested 4/29 thinking it was just a stressful month and was so shocked but so happy to see “pregnant” on a clear blue.
I’m 29, co-own a lash extension spa. My husband and I have been together for 10 years, married 5.
We had originally “planned” to start trying in august but knowing nothing is ever certain said what the heck, let’s start now, in April.
Hence the shock of a positive test so soon! we’re over the moon and now just praying we can keep this little bean growing!
I’m feeling the fatigue and a little breast soreness. Fingers crossed the nausea stays away!
Also- why does no one talk about what an awful waiting game this is haha! Eeek. I just want to hear that little heart beat!
Introduce yourself: hello my name is Ashley. I’m 37 and this is my second pregnancy from IVF. We lost our baby boy last October so I’ve been really nervous this time around. I just hope my baby is growing and thriving. I am married to my husband of 15 years and we have 2 fur babies who will be 16 in June.
Due date: January 3,2023
How you found out: Beta test from fertility clinic
Tell us about yourself: love going to Disney and enjoy the outdoors especially kayaking with the hubby. We both have been wanting this for a long time.
How are you feeling? Mild cramping pulling on lower left side. Fatigue, sore breasts and mood swings. I am currently taking progesterone injections so those have been a pain. Like I said before I am super nervous because we lost our first boy in October. Just hoping with will be my rainbow baby.
Introduce yourself: Hi, hopeful third time mom over here.
Due date: Jan 14, but I've never gone past 38wks so I think this is more likely a December baby.
How you found out: AF never came, so I peed on a stick.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I am an engineer and DH is a scientist. We have two awesome kiddos, ages 20mo and 5yrs (sounds like a few of us will be sending kids off to kindergarten in the fall, happy to have some emotional support 😆), and two patient cats. Other things I like to do- hike, bike, dance, knit, etc but mostly I just chase a toddler around in my free time.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
Symptoms - mostly just sore boobs with a touch of insomnia and constipation. No nausea yet but it's still early. Emotionally - yes. I'm feeling all of them 🙃.

How are you feeling: I’m feeling extremely nervous and anxious and 🤞🏼 Until my 7 week US ! Symptoms wise I have been extremely thirsty (weird) and a little nauseous here and there, had intermittent back discomfort.. but overall not a lot of symptoms.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I’m a mom to a 14.5 year old, and aunt to a 15 year old who I helped raise — talk about an age gap! But I’ll have a crew of lovely babysitters, between them and their friends. We also have 3 cats. Kind of nervous about how they’ll react to this life change!
I run a creative production co with my husband — I thought he would be anxious as hell about this new baby with everything we have going on at work, but he’s super excited.
We spend a lot of time camping in northern Michigan, which might look different this year (I don’t think I’ll want to sleep on the ground as frequently while pregnant, lol)
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I’m excited, and exhausted. Certain foods are sounding better than others, and I’m trying to balance the mood swings that feel like the worst PMS ever! Super grateful for this app and happy to be a part of the January 2023 expecting moms club!
Introduce myself: I'm 33 years old and this is baby #5.
Due date: January 13, 2023
How I found out: I was supposed to start my cycle (and so it makes sense, my back doesnt pop when my cycle is near or during at all). I was laying in bed and I was able to crack by back, so I figured I needed to take a test and it was positive even at my 4th pee of the morning.
About myself: I'm a sahm, and I have 4 children. A 14 yo boy, 9 yo boy, 7 yo girl, and 4 yo girl. My husband is medically retired from the army and I care for him also. We have been married for 12 years, and couldn't be more thrilled to be given another gift from God! We love children, as I'm sure you can tell, and I always wanted to be a mom. This is the first baby of my 30's and probably the last.....so it's all very bitter sweet, because on the one hand we know this chapter in our life is ending and it's sad but on the other hand it's making us enjoy it more, and really just soak it all in. Plus it really helps that all of the kids are extremely excited about the baby.
Introduce yourself: Hi y’all! I’m Laurin, 35 (36 in July), from Florida
Due date: 1/21/2023
How you found out: took a test

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I am excited for our second! And so is my husband :) I’ve had some very mild cramps, intermittent headaches, and some nausea spells, but nothing major yet. I’ve been having a 21 day cycles, so I’m 4 days late from that, but my test was still very faint. I was pretty sure I was pregnant though and I am so happy to have gotten the faint line :)
Wishing you all a safe and healthy pregnancy and delivery!

How you found out: Blood test (and two pregnancy tests the night before because I couldn’t wait any more!)
Tell us about yourself: I’m a primary school teacher. I have two dogs. My husband is a paramedic and real estate agent. We have been married for close to three years
How are you feeling: I have very little symptoms! Just a few headaches and back aches, and the occasional cramp. It doesn’t real real! I can’t quite believe it yet.
Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m Brittany. I’m cautiously introducing myself to the group so I’m not a creepy lurker. I’m 6dp5dt and have had positive tests since 3dp5dt so I think we have a sticky embryo!
Due date: 1/22 but if history is any indication I won’t go much past 37+0 (pre-e)
How you found out: started testing 1 day after transfer because I have zero self control. we have had a *time* with this transfer so bear with me. We had 2 transfers in 2021 (June and August) which were chemical, we did another retrieval round which gave us 2 PGS normal embryos. I just got off active duty and transferred to the reserves so we had to send the embryos across the east coast to Ohio, find a new clinic and then the clinic wasn’t doing transfers last month so I had to wait. It’s been a whole lot but I’m so glad everything so far is good.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have 2 kiddos with my husband (boys, 5 and almost 2). I’m a doctor, and as I said I just got off active duty (army) and I’m working for a civilian practice now (and much happier). We are both in the Army reserves. Moved home a mile from my parents, and we are just settling into our new normal.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Nervous, tests are progressing and I have my first beta Monday morning. Feeling gross and tired.
I was super active in J20, and so I’m excited for this group!
Introduce yourself: Hi! I am Sarah and I just turned 35. My husband and I have been married for 11 years. We have two living children and a daughter in heaven. We have had three total losses including a chemical, miscarriage, and our daughter who was stillborn at 32 weeks due to mosaic trisomy 15 and CDH. I have also struggled with infertility and PCOS. This pregnancy is a surprise because I didn't think my body could do it on it's own. So I am cautiously optimistic. The initial progesterone check and betas both looked good.
Due date: I am estimating around Jan 12, but will get the official one at my u/s on the 24th.
How you found out: I missed my period so took a test.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I guess I kind of already did that in the first question We have a dog named Nellie. I do accounting/taxes for a living and then also run a blog/IG about pregnancy loss.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Mostly just tired. A little crampy but just normal stuff. And full of anxiety due to my history.
Introduce yourself: Hello my name is Amberly, I’m 33 and I am (hopefully) a second time mom. I had two miscarriages before giving birth to my son last March.
Due date: 01/15/23 I think.
How you found out: I was feeling a little off and took at test and sure enough there was a faint line.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband I have been married for 5 years. We have a son that turned one in March and two cats. We enjoy going for walks, playing board games, and just generally hanging out as a family.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I am exhausted!!! I’ve had bouts of nausea every day throughout the day and my boobs have been really sore. I was so nervous about losing my last pregnancy I don’t feel like I was able to enjoy it. So this time I’m really trying to relax and not overthink too much.
Introduce yourself: Hello, my name is Sandra, 29 years old and I’m huge anime nerd and tattoo collector.
Due date: 1/9/2023
How you found out: I was two days late on my period (I’m never late, but have a weird form of pcos) and it was actually Mother’s Day!
Tell us about yourself: I’m a cat mom, Cosplayer, and married my Cosplayer husband two years ago. We never thought I could have kids so this was a blessing
How are you feeling: pretty moody/emotional and breast pain for now
Introduce yourself: 27, first time pregnant, cautiously excited
Due date: 1/15 based on last period (have not had first prenatal appointment yet)
How you found out: took a pregnancy test on a whim at 4 weeks.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am an attorney with no other children. One dog. Been married for 2.5 years to a pediatric resident.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? No symptoms yet except being tired! Emotionally excited/nervous/impatient. Wish I could tell people!

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Terrified at first, but I only found out 3 days ago. I’ve been off the pill since 2019 so I assumed if it hadn’t happened yet, maybe it wasn’t meant for us. Still kind of shocked and cautiously optimistic. No symptoms besides mild cramps and mild soreness in boobs. I hear week 6 is when it really starts.
Happy to be among other January moms. Appreciate reading all of your journeys. ❤️
Hi, I’m Shenan. After trying for over a year my husband and I are finally starting this journey!
Due date: Jan 17th based on last period
How you found out: Funny story, I wasn’t feeling well so I took an at home COVID test. It came out positive (I’m feeling better now, thankfully). Later in the day I realized my period was late and I might as well take a test. To my surprise that came out positive too!!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?): We have 2 dogs and 2 cats.
Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I work from home as a software engineer. My husband and I have been together for five years and married for 1.5 years. We live in central Florida and love to get out and do things in nature. We also love board games and I’m a fan of cross stitching.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I was shocked at first, and I still don’t think it’s really hit me. I’m also a little anxious about the baby’s wellbeing due to the whole me having COVID thing but im hopeful. And in excited to start learning and preparing! How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I feel scared and unsure. But warming up to the idea. . No symptoms but bloating at night really bad and some breast tenderness and nippless, hightened smell.

@ReadyForaB Yay! Congratulations!!

BFP September 2022 - Due June 2023!

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy pregnancy!!
Going off our conception date, we’ll be due 1/5/2023, 5w4days

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
Due date: 1/21/2023
How you found out: took a test

Spouse/partner?)
I have 2 kiddos with my husband (boys, 5 and almost 2). I’m a doctor, and as I said I just got off active duty (army) and I’m working for a civilian practice now (and much happier). We are both in the Army reserves. Moved home a mile from my parents, and we are just settling into our new normal.

I was so nervous about losing my last pregnancy I don’t feel like I was able to enjoy it. So this time I’m really trying to relax and not overthink too much.

And in excited to start learning and preparing! My only symptoms were some mild cramps and currently sore breasts. My husband also noticed a difference in my areolas.
Sending lots of love and support to everyone else on this journey! Wishing you the best!
