Due date: 1/5/22 (I think)
How you found out: took a test after missing my period
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
My husband and I each have one from before we met. His daughter is 14 and my son is 9. Big age gap! We like going to concerts and listening to music. My son and husband love fishing and my son loves to skateboard. My stepdaughter loves art and thrifting
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally) surprisingly great! I remember being exhausted with my son, but I have been feeling better than I was expecting.
Nice to meet everyone!
Due date: 1.4.23
How we found out: Beta blood test about 10 days after a day 5 frozen embryo transfer we've kept on ice since 2018.
About me: Sliding in at 5w2d over here with #3. I carried our first kid in 2015, my wife and I did ivf for #2 in 2019, and this is our last embryo, and she's carrying again this time. I'm 42, work in HR full time, and tend to clean when I'm anxious. My wife is 40, and our 2 kids are 6 and 3. We also have a spaniel dog and she's about 15. We live in Chicagoland and are under contract with buying a larger house for the growing fam. The last 2 weeks have been wild with pregnancy tests, real estate emails from the lawyer/realtor needing things asap. I thought hanging out here could be a welcome distraction.
Let's be friends!
Due date: 1/6/23
How you found out: missed period, test
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
It's just my son (13) and me. Plus 6 cats and a dog haha. I'm a nurse.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Excited but nervous. So incredibly tired. Minimally sore boobs, no nausea. Little bit of cramping. But the fatigue is a killer.
I literally took a test 2 days ago, I was one day late. I had my IUD taken out about 2 weeks ago and happened to have been ovulating the next day when my husband and I had sex…so we weren’t trying very long!
I have a 3 yo daughter and a husband who’s an electrician. I’m super excited since I loved being pregnant the first time, but also very emotional about it not just being my daughter anymore. Very nervous about the transition and making her feel loved and safe and just hoping to soak in as much 1:1 time as possible while we can. I’m very much in mourning already. Any anecdotal info about the transition from 1 to 2 children is welcome!
No symptoms yet really except I’m already having very specific cravings (like whole meal specific, I had to go buy sausage because I NEEDED to have pasta with sausage and marinara for lunch lol) and notice if I don’t eat immediately after I wake up I get nauseous. Also I’m thirsty all the time. I had preeclampsia with my daughter (she had to be delivered by C-section 6 weeks early) and would also love to connect with anyone who has experience with pre-e in more than one pregnancy or experience with VBAC. I’m nervous about those two things in particular.
Happy to be here! Congratulations to all of us and Happy Mother’s Day!
Due date: My app is saying January 3/2023 but having a dating ultrasound at the end of the month because my HCG levels were very high I’m not sure if I’m further along
How you found out: Had really bad heart burn one evening so decided to take a test, the line was dark right away
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I’m a registered nurse and We have been trying for a while now, we don’t have any children this will be our first. My hobbies are weight lifting and anything active (until I got pregnant now all I do is sleep), my boyfriend is an amazing support who is beyond excited for you his new role
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
I’m very very emotional these last few weeks, I was very hungry for 2 weeks now my appetite has slightly died off as I’m having random bouts of nausea but over all feel good. 12h shifts are hard to make it through and it has resulted in a lot of car naps on my breaks
Due date: appx 1/20/23
How you found out: felt weird the week before with cramping (honestly thought it was from dairy) took a test on Mother’s Day and saw a faint line. Got a digital test and got a positive
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
2 dogs and a husband.. I’m currently training for a marathon Memorial Day weekend so I may be running that soon unless doctor says otherwise. Very active and hoping to stay so, but going to listen to my body.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
I have light cramping or just feeling “weird” I know it is very early so I’m trying to take it one day at a time. (But obviously found this group one day after I found out). We are cautiously optimistic but I’m keeping my fingers crossed my doctor will see me before my marathon so I can have some peace of mind
@ReadyForaB Yay! Congratulations!!

BFP September 2022 - Due June 2023!
Due date: January 5, 2023
How you found out: I was on the TTGP page, so we were actively trying for 4 months. About 4dpo I went out to dinner and gagged because the ketchup tasted like vinegar. A few days later I started with morning sickness literally all day. Finally got my BFP Saturday!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am a 3rd grade ELA and social studies teacher in a low income district. My husband is 37 years old and he works at a local university as an assistant director of their learning center. We have a furry child, hunter, who is 12 years old, and a 2 year old son, William. William was born right at the beginning of the pandemic, so I’m interested in seeing how different my experience is this time around. I was very active in the April 2020 BMB.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Pretty rough actually! I didn’t feel this bad with DS, so I’m hoping it’s a sign that this is my girl! I have a massive food aversion to anything that even has a drop of vinegar in it, morning sickness all day, sore boobs on and off, and I am so exhausted all the time!

We love to ride bikes, hike, and adventure. Our current adventure is visiting all the National Parks!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?: I have a bit of morning sickness. Emotionally I am still in shock that the test had two lines on it, but feeling very grateful 🥹
Due date: Estimated January 17, 2023
How you found out: Woke up this morning and just really felt off, similiar to morning sickness. My period was supposed to start today, but I had an extra test so decided to take it. Was shocked to see the two lines!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My husband and I have two daughters, 6 & 4. I honestly thought we were close to calling it quits, and was pleasantly surprised with the positive test. I'm looking forward to sharing the news with our daughters, they're going to be so excited. We live in Florida and love being outdoorsy, going to the beach, bike riding, etc.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Physically, I have mild cramping, similar to menstrual cramps, slight headache, and nauseous. The nasuesness was the big indicator to me, I only ever feel this way when pregnant. Mentally and emotionally, still wrapping my head around it. My emotions and thoughts have been all over the place today.
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy pregnancy!!
Going off our conception date, we’ll be due 1/5/2023, 5w4days

How are you feeling: I’m feeling extremely nervous and anxious and 🤞🏼 Until my 7 week US ! Symptoms wise I have been extremely thirsty (weird) and a little nauseous here and there, had intermittent back discomfort.. but overall not a lot of symptoms.
How you found out: two positive home tests after being 4 days late on my period and feeling sore, itchy boobs for a week.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I’m excited, and exhausted. Certain foods are sounding better than others, and I’m trying to balance the mood swings that feel like the worst PMS ever! Super grateful for this app and happy to be a part of the January 2023 expecting moms club!
Due date: January 13, 2023
How I found out: I was supposed to start my cycle (and so it makes sense, my back doesnt pop when my cycle is near or during at all). I was laying in bed and I was able to crack by back, so I figured I needed to take a test and it was positive even at my 4th pee of the morning.
About myself: I'm a sahm, and I have 4 children. A 14 yo boy, 9 yo boy, 7 yo girl, and 4 yo girl. My husband is medically retired from the army and I care for him also. We have been married for 12 years, and couldn't be more thrilled to be given another gift from God! We love children, as I'm sure you can tell, and I always wanted to be a mom. This is the first baby of my 30's and probably the last.....so it's all very bitter sweet, because on the one hand we know this chapter in our life is ending and it's sad but on the other hand it's making us enjoy it more, and really just soak it all in. Plus it really helps that all of the kids are extremely excited about the baby.
Due date: 1/21/2023
How you found out: took a test
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I’m an RN in critical care, my husband and I have one daughter (soon to be 2 yo) and our dog.

I’ve been having a 21 day cycles, so I’m 4 days late from that, but my test was still very faint. I was pretty sure I was pregnant though and I am so happy to have gotten the faint line :)

Due date: 1/22 but if history is any indication I won’t go much past 37+0 (pre-e)
How you found out: started testing 1 day after transfer because I have zero self control. we have had a *time* with this transfer so bear with me. We had 2 transfers in 2021 (June and August) which were chemical, we did another retrieval round which gave us 2 PGS normal embryos. I just got off active duty and transferred to the reserves so we had to send the embryos across the east coast to Ohio, find a new clinic and then the clinic wasn’t doing transfers last month so I had to wait. It’s been a whole lot but I’m so glad everything so far is good.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I have 2 kiddos with my husband (boys, 5 and almost 2). I’m a doctor, and as I said I just got off active duty (army) and I’m working for a civilian practice now (and much happier). We are both in the Army reserves. Moved home a mile from my parents, and we are just settling into our new normal.
