@artsiefartsie I started my 2nd pregnancy in one state (actually with my doctor from my 1st when I had preeclampsia in the last week) and she never mentioned the baby aspirin. I moved to CA halfway thru the pregnancy and my new doctor asked why I wasn't on it but said at that point there was no point in starting so I didn't bother... ended up ok in my case
Hi all! Texas gal here, small business owner and lawyer. Currently due November 29th, which is my husband's birthday!
We had an MC with our first pregnancy back in August. Our due date for that pregnancy was March 23rd, when we found out about this new bean! So it's been a really emotional week!
Have any of you preeclampsia mamas talked to your dr about starting on baby aspirin? My dr wanted me to start taking one from the start because of my loss history, but reading up on it, it is one of the only things that has been shown to help lower chances of getting preeclampsia.
This is the first time I’m hearing about baby aspirin. The last time I was just hooked up to several IV lines and ate so many pills, that I lost count of. Thanks for the information. I have my first obstetrician visit on Friday and I will ask about it.
Hi! I was a lurker on my 1st and 2nd pregnancy’s groups but figure I should actually join in this time
Where are you from? CT
Due date? EDD of 11/21 but won’t be surprised if this little one is a week and a half late like their big brother and sister and show up on their Daddy’s 30th bday on 12/1
First pregnancy? If not, how many kiddos and what are there ages? Nope! This is pregnancy number 4 and I have 3 kiddos. My oldest son came to live with us at 16mo and is now 6.5. Then I have my middle son who is a Christmas baby. My daughter will be 2 in May and came the day before my 30th bday. **TW** My third pregnancy in Dec we found out at my routine OB visit at 8 weeks that it was ectopic and I ended up having to have my left tube removed. **End TW** I got to go in today at 5w4d and see a perfectly located gestational sac and find out that I ovulated from my left ovary. I go back in almost 2 weeks to hopefully see a heartbeat.
Anything else you feel like contributing! My first 2 pregnancies were so routine and textbook that it feels strange to already have multiple ultrasounds and blooddraws done. But seeing them in the correct place today eased a lot of my anxiety
Hi everyone! My name is Rachel and I am from Illinois. This is my first pregnancy and the app says I am due November 4. My first prenatal apt isn't until April 12 because they are booked, so I'm hoping everything is OK until then and they can tell me how far along I really am! I'm so nervous!
This is my second time around using the bump although I almost feel like a newbie because my pnly other child is my DD who turned 7 in February.
Where are you from? I'm from southern Indiana, about 10 miles from Louisville, KY.
Due date? 11/20 according to my calculations. I have very short menstrual cycles, but am pretty confident I know the conception date.
My husband and I are so excited, and of course nervous for this pregnancy. I have my first U/S on Wednesday at 11AM and the time just can't go by soon enough.
Where are you from? I'm from California but currently living in Maryland!
Due date? According to LMP November 9. I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow.
First pregnancy? If not, how many kiddos and what are there ages? First pregnancy Nervous but hopeful. I have my first ultrasound on Wednesday and then it will feel real, I think. I have had very few symptoms (sore boobs, no appetite) but have had some consistent spotting (light and brown) for about a week and a half. I called the office but they said if no cramps or heavy bleeding just keep an eye on it. They tried to fit me in sooner but nothing was available. Big con of living in a rural area for sure. I've been on a rollercoaster of assuming the worst but have leveled out a little over the last week.
Hello everyone! TW: loss mentioned below. Im late to the game.
My name is Cara, I live outside of San Antonio.
This is my third pregnancy, but first baby. We had a mmc at 10 weeks in 2019 and a CP in 2020. We started fertility treatments and went through 2 rounds of IVF last year to end up with only 1 high level mosaic embryo. We did some genetic counseling and since the genetic defect was only partial and not related to any syndromes our RE felt confident transferring. We transferred on 3/11/21 and had two positive hcg tests with tripling levels last week!
We are due 11/27. Our first ultrasound will be early since its an IVF pregnancy on 4/8. Still being cautiously optimistic until then. Its hard to get excited after loss.
Say a little bit about yourself here: my name is Rachel, 32 years old, recently relocated back to Maine where I grew up after living in Massachusetts for 13(?) years.
Where are you from? Maine
Due date? I think 11/11 based on lmp
First pregnancy? If not, how many kiddos and what are there ages? My first pregnancy gave my my 2.5 year old Mia. **TW** my second pregnancy was in December 2020 and was a suspected ectopic caught really early so the pregnancy was over pretty much as quick as it began, and this is my third pregnancy. Due to the issues in December I got a blood HCG test and a ultrasound to confirm location is in my uterus last week and both looked good. Was too early to see heartbeat yet. I’ll have to wait until next week. I also wasn’t a full 3 months after the methotrexate injection when I got pregnant so I’m a bit worried about issues that could cause. The doctor was pretty reassuring though that there’s such a low chance of an issues from that.
Anything else you feel like contributing! I still love my O18 BMB (on Facebook now) so looking forward to this experience. Wishing us all luck!
Hello! I am from southern Arizona and my due date is November 30th. This is my 3rd child (fingers crossed) and probably my last. My two boys are about to turn 5 and 3.
I feel like I'm bragging whenever I talk about my marriage, but I love the life we have. I work full time and he's the SAHD. Both my little boys (and hubby for that matter) are Autistic. We are expecting our new addition to be Autistic as well and can't wait to add them to our chaos.

Happily married since 5/24/2015 Momma of a baby Viking since 4/16, expecting #2 in 5/18
@rabtaido1214 I had an ectopic in Dec too but mine was so far along I had to have my tube removed. This time they did blood work and were going to bring me in “early” at 7w3d (I was 8w exactly for my ectopic) and I talked them into bringing me in earlier and got to see a gestational sac in my uterus. I was only about 5w1d so I wasn’t expecting to see anything more but it was super reassuring that I didn’t have to worry that every little twinge and pain meant it was ectopic again

Ahhhhh!!!!! I saw that username in my notifications and was like I KNOW THAT PERSON! YAY!
I live in South Central Alaska, originally from Missouri. I am working towards being as self-sufficient as possible regarding my food so we have just started our seeds for the season and I'm excited to get gardening again! More sun this time of year so we are also bringing in lots of eggs from chickens, ducks, & turkeys... just hoping my solo goose turns out to be a girl! Obviously I have a yard (and house) full of animals so I am looking forward to an adorable farmhand.
Anyways, tomorrow I will be 6 weeks with my first (husband's 4th) and I am terrified. It's a hard transition when you spend literally 20 years doing everything to not be pregnant. Even though we kind of tried, I'm not sure it really sank in what we were really doing 😆. According to LMP, I am looking at a Due Date of Nov 24th... just in time for turkey day!!
Well here's to hoping that everything goes well for all of us over the next year!!
Hello ladies! I’m in NH and despite the username which should now be 1dog3kids (created when I was pregnant with our second) I am pregnant with our 3rd. EDD 11/30. We have 6 year old and 4.5 year old boys. Looking forward to being part of this board and making new friends!
I believe I go here, I have been holding off on joining because it's so early, unexpected and my last in 2019 ended in a MC. I tested at 9dpo and got a faint positive, told DH a couple days later since I worked the weekend.
Where are you from? From Connecticut
Due date? Should be 11/30 but only every made it to 37 weeks.
First pregnancy? If not, how many kiddos and what are there ages? This is my 5th pregnancy (completely blanked when the office asked me) there is an 18 year old who was adopted when I was younger, a 9 and 3 year old.
Hello, everyone! :) I'm Jen, 36, originally from the UK but currently living in Santa Cruz. This is the first pregnancy, so I'm terrified as I'm getting a ton of symptoms - nausea, headaches, cramps, dizziness, and exhaustion. I honestly don't know what's normal and what isn't. Oh and my boobs are insane. Ridiculously sore and feel massive!!!
According to the calculator I'm due 11/20 (better not come early as my birthday is 11/11 and that would be quite a different celebration than I'm used to :p).
I've got my first scan in 2 weeks. It makes me so nervous but excited.
Well hello there! I am surprised to be returning to The Bump after we were super good with our 2 DDs 9 & 6. We live in Tampa and are currently wavering somewhere between panic over all the things we’ve forgotten/gotten rid of and this is no big deal- been there feelings. Math says I’m due 11/29, but I didn’t even have an OB here so I don’t get an appointment until the end of April. Hope all are well!
Say a little bit about yourself: I’m a mom of 2 and so excited for our third.
Where are you from? I live in the mountains of northern New England.
Due date? Nov 3
First pregnancy? If not, how many kiddos and what are there ages? We have two girls, 5 and 2.5 yrs. 5th pregnancy (that surprises me saying it out loud), TW I’ve had two mmc. Really hoping for a healthy baby #3 for our family.
Anything else you feel like contributing! I’ve been following along the past 6 weeks but wasn’t ready to jump in until my 8 week ultrasound and then hearing 10 week heartbeat. The pregnancy after loss thread in this group as been very helpful to know I’m not alone in the excitement and worry at the same time. I’ve never been part of an online group and look forward to sharing the space.
@artsiefartsie With my first, I had to have a somewhat emergency CS due to pre-eclampsia. Second pregnancy, they started me on baby aspirin right away and I made it a week and a half longer with a 1.5lb heavier kid too. I think it does make a HUGE difference. I’ll wait until the OB wants me to start, but I’m sure looking at my history of higher BP, they’ll put me on it.
Hello! My name is Leazel. I am due November 20th with my second little. This was a huge surprise because we just had a loss in January. My son is almost 3. Im from Georgia but currently living in Kansas. Congratulations everyone !!
I'm Elizabeth and we are currently in Southern California. I am originally from Indianapolis, Indiana.
We are due November 7th...but I have a distinct feeling it is going to be sooner than that. It's our first pregnancy and first kid! It was a surprise baby, but we've wanted kids forever, so it's all good.
If there are any athlete mommas on here, I'd love to get your take on training as it has been the worst for me.
Hi -- jumping in here from Dec Group as my scheduled c-section is in two weeks (eeee) so this will be a November baby.
STM here -- infertility lady -- had my first girl in 2018 after my first IVF transfer and this will be my second girl after my second transfer (and second IVF cycle). I'm assuming everyone has migrated to private boards but hoping to jump in...

From morning to evening, his sister is very eager to be involved and we're all looking forward to his transition to solids. Like biking, hiking and swimming.
