Can we include crazy vivid dreams to this list?😂 I was pretty sure I was pregnant because I've been having the weirdest dreams ever since a few days softer ovulation. Other than that, I can check the mood swings, tender breasts, missed period, constipation and peeing all the time! If I go too long without eating then I feel a little sick but not too bad yet. Also another weird symptom that I had with my last pregnancy is needing to eat slow. If I eat too quick I get air in my belly and have a hard time burping without feeling like throwing up.
@babywii the dreams always get me. I had really strange vivid sex dreams about a coworker the week before ovulation, it made me think I was pregnant, but hadn't ovulated yet so knew I couldn't be.
Personally I haven't had any symptoms aside from missing my period, bloat and a touch of cramping so I really don't feel pregnant yet.
Had a mild headache for three days immediately after I tested positive! Otherwise, my boobs are sore in ways they aren’t usually but nothing else really yet. 5w today.
I've been so exhausted! A tiny bit of nausea at night. But can we all talk about how tired this makes us? I am nowhere near as productive as I normally am. I'll be 6 weeks on Thursday.
Finally over most of the cramping, but now my temp is elevated and I'm wiped out. Thankfully it's not a fever, but yeah, no fun. Add vivid dreams to the mix too.
Also in my fifth week! To date I've primarily had tender breasts - how is it that they already feel so much bigger?! - cramping, and fatigue. The cramping will wake me up at night, which didn't used to be a thing for me.
Yes with the exhaustion. All I want to do is sleep... But every night at about 2:00-3:00 am I wake up and toss and turn until the alarm goes off 😭. Still exhausted while I'm tossing and turning, just like physically unable to sleep.
The tender breasts and nipples, the heartburn and bloating I can all deal with and almost feel comforted by, but this exhaustion is kicking my butt.
I feel like I already have a UTI. I remember having them constantly during my last pregnancy. Has anyone else ever dealt with this? My first appointment is tomorrow, just to get all my vitals and for the NP to tell me what I can/can't do/eat. Hopefully she can go ahead and put me on an antibiotic.
@whitta1015 I have chronic UTIs. After you clear the primary infection, ask your doctor about a maintenance dose. Keflex is one that is pregnancy safe - I took one a day throughout my last pregnancy. Drawback is that if you're prone to antibiotic-related yeast infections is that you will then periodically have to kill the yeast infection that results.
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
@kboydbowman Thanks so much! I'll definitely mention that I was prone to them during my last pregnancy and hopefully they will give me something to prevent them!
Omg @babywiik I’ve been having very vivid dreams as well! I also lost my mind on my kids about cleaning their rooms the day before I found out🙈 I felt so bad, and it was so weird that I was soooo ampt up! But now I know why!
@whitta1015 I’m sorry to hear that! I hope it’s not the same for this pregnancy for you! I don’t have experience with UTI with mine but my bff did and I know she had to be on antibiotics for most of the time. Again I hope not the case!
I’m happy and terrified but I’m EXHAUSTED. Like I cannot keep up!!! I’m bloated and look pregnant bc of the bloat, boobs are hard + tender but besides that I’m. Just trying to get past the fear of first trimester… any tips!?
also, anyone here have COVID during early pregnancy? I’m worried about it bc I’m worried about everything right now.. I’m also vaxxed and boosted but got it over Christmas
I’ve had a persistent back ache, like what you get before your period, and it’s driving me batty. Not bad enough to be painful, but just constantly drive you crazy. My nipples are also a bit sore, but not terrible.
This my third and it's already so different from my last pregnancies. Only five weeks and two days and I am already nauseous, tired, and headaches. Does anyone else get sensitive teeth during pregnamcy?
6 weeks today. This is my 3rd pregnancy, but this is the first time I've been super weak and shaky every day. It's annoying to be so jittery all the time! Wonder if it's a blood sugar thing.
The fatigue has been so much more than I expected. Yes to the vivid dreams, too! I'm not really eating more than usual, but I will say that the urgency at mealtime has increased. I'm having the need to go a lot more often, and the first little twinges of nausea though nothing significant yet. And yesterday I had a moment of spotting which was scary but I am told, normal. Though I'll feel better once I have my ultrasound end of next week and likely will be sweating it until then.
I THINK I'm more smell sensitive, too. My husband decided to cook cabbage yesterday and it's all I can smell, everywhere in the house. Though that may just be because it's gross, ha.
Indigestion has started today. I am already on a dosage of pantoprazole and famotidine for GERD, but I may need to go straight pantoprazole as that helps control it a lot better.
I did, but I read somewhere that it’s not too bad, just helps your baby develop COVID antibodies! So that gave me a lot of peace of mind. As long as you didn’t get a fever you should be ok
I could eat grapefruit all day. I’ve taken to buying the grapefruit segments in these giant jars and even saving the juice to drink 🤦♀️
Other symptoms I’m having: fatigue so bad that I’m totally shot by 4pm everyday. My boobs have already grown and they are so sore! I’ve had cramping too, more dull and less painful than period cramps but also a little annoying. Sensitive to smells too.
I also had my first ultrasound today because I was having bleeding, but everything looks great and baby looks healthy! It was so cool to see the heartbeat even if the baby just looks like a little dot! I’m 6 weeks and 2 days.
I’m very early - just 4 weeks + 2 days. But, I definitely had strong aversion to alcohol and was very sensitive to smell last time already. I don’t feel as pregnant as I did already at this point last time. So that makes me nervous. But I’m extremely tired. And have been definitely having the shakes and feeling a bit dizzy. So, I guess every pregnancy is different! But I’m still living like a ticking time bomb. Morning sickness hit me hard at 6 weeks last time.
I have been having a little dizziness and tiny headache every evening. I’ve definitely also had insomnia and constipation! Ugh!! Slight cramps and spotting (I’m 5 weeks), but I am chalking that up to implantation because it stopped today.
I also have had vivid dreams! This is my first pregnancy so I am experiencing this all with nervousness (I have an anxiety disorder, eek!).
Looking forward to my ultrasound at week 8. My OB says stay on my current meds and don’t take any Advil, so I am plugging along!
Between normal first trimester exhaustion and still breastfeeding my 9 month old, I feel like a zombie. I am soooooooooo tired! My nipples are also super sensitive, so breastfeeding is really not fun right now.
Other than that, I feel nauseous for 75% of the day, though I haven't actually thrown up at all. This was basically the same as my first pregnancy, lots of nausea but never any vomiting. Last pregnancy, the nausea didn't last too long, so hoping it won't this time either. I had a really strong meat aversion last pregnancy, which I haven't experienced so far this time around. The thought of lots of foods make me nauseous, but they change from day to day lol so whatever sounds good at the moment, I eat, whether it's a tray of tater tots, a bowl of grapes, or something else totally random.
@falconlkn Yes, waiting for the 8 week appointment in my first pregnancy was super anxiety provoking! It was the longest month of my life! Just saying, now is a super nerve-wracking time, but you’ve got this! I’m fully aware of all the things that could go wrong but also way less anxious about waiting for that appointment this time.
@theblondebump You are superwoman! I can’t imagine breastfeeding while pregnant. My boobs hurt so much right now. My 3 year old keeps accidentally touching them and it’s so painful!
Is anyone else just waiting for symptoms to really start? Outside of fatigue, sore nips and occasional random waves of feeling like I could cry at nothing, I’m just feeling pretty normal. Trying to not read into anything. 6w tomorrow with my first so I don’t have any idea what to expect!
@mk2022x same here, first timer just had severe bloat at 4-5wks and sore boobs but besides that feeling normal and also just like… what’s going on am I pregnant or are these 4 positives test not real lol
@breelock@mk2022x Don’t worry at all! Everyone is different and my real life friend who is currently 8 months pregnant with her 2nd had zero morning sickness. She didn’t even know she was pregnant this time around until 8 weeks!
I’m only 4 weeks, 4 days, but I’m not feeling much either. But I am sooooo tired and my boobs are sore. I’m bracing for the worst. My morning sickness came on strong around week 6. But, who knows, maybe it will be different this time. Don’t worry about not having symptoms yet, you will most likely feel shitty soon! 🤣
@breelock@mk2022x my experience last pregnancy was I felt pretty much nothing (except random crying at random songs on the radio lol) and then probably around week 8 or so, I started feeling some more symptoms, mostly nausea, but it was pretty short lived. Take advantage of any time you feel symptom-less!
@magnolia209@theblondebump thank you both!! It’s hard not knowing what to expect and very easy to be anxious about it. I want the symptoms so I can “feel” pregnant but then I know I’ll wish I didn’t 🤣 it’s a battle haha
@mk2022x What I keep telling myself: I do have symptoms. So I do feel pregnant. It doesn’t have to be nausea! Extra Tiredness, sore boobs, even specific early pregnancy discharge (that I had last time and have again) - these are symptoms! The biggest symptom of all: that positive pregnancy test! ❤️
5+5 today and started with some shortness of breath/heart racing yesterday morning. I laid down for a while and it subsided. It has started again this morning. I read that this is just how some women's bodies react to the increase in progesterone.

I get that every so often, almost like I drank too much caffeine. It's worst for me at night, but it hits during the day sometimes. 5w4d for me. I think I got it with my pregnancy with my daughter too, but I don't quite remember.
