Re: Weekly Randoms 10/11
So I've mentioned that my OB has "forbidden" me from losing any more weight. Ok great, I'll do my best, but 3/3 pregnancies so far have proven that isn't possible.
Well I am doing my best to follow their wishes, but eating leftover the "practice" cake I made for DDs party next weekend probably wasn't what they had in mind... But damn, does it do a good job of curbing my nausea in-between meals 😂😂
In other news, I am on day 6 of trying to wean my 21 month old off the pacifier (cold turkey) and we are all exhausted.
I have no clue if there's a sibling discount for ours...guess I'll find out later. If yes, great! If not, whatever, we're still staying there. It's sooooo much cheaper than the daycares in my neighborhood, hours are better (i would struggle to meet my "required" hours every day if we went with a local daycare because they just aren't open early enough or late enough for me), and I like the staff there, they're pretty flexible and have worked with us on so many unique/special cases.
I am a little frustrated that our daycare makes DD quarantine for 10 days if she leaves the state--so like when we drive to my brother's for Thanksgiving this year. I understand they want to draw a line but I'm not sure how it is that much different for us to travel 5 hours by car within the state vs. 5 hours by care but leave the state. We're going to use that time to potty train, though, so yay? ;-)
My final update after my Pfizer booster: I had body aches and fatigue for about 2 hours yesterday morning. I took Tylenol and rested on the couch and by mid morning I was feeling completely fine again. These were the same symptoms I experienced (minus chills) and the same timeframe as dose 2, but MUCH shorter lived. Wanted to be sure to update for anyone else who is eligible/considering getting a booster dose as well.
@happynapper Thanks for the update! I'm glad you're already feeling back to normal again. I remain confused on booster eligibility, but I'll definitely jump on it whenever I'm given the go-ahead.
