Who I have in mediation with me? I plan on bringing my lawyer and my mom. He said he was requesting my mom not be there.. I think that's ridiculous.

    The mediator may not want your mom there. Generally it's just 4 people -- the two parties and their laywers.

    Just like everything else each place is different, but I was told only involved parties and the lawyers. Even if remarried step parents aren't allowed.

    My parents want to drop me off and pick me up so they will be there when I got into the building and when I come out. They know EX tries to start shii (like his freak-out in the courtyard last month.)

    Thanks for the responses! If my mom cant be in the room then i'll make sure she sits outside in case i need to talk to her. I wont be able to do this without her. Shes my right hand :) Maybe if the mediator knows how controlling and superficial my EX is, he'll make an exceptions. lol
