@lmajin99- Sounds like everything is coming together nicely, you're lining is perfect!! Looks like Friday is becoming a busy day over here! It's only natural to have thoughts that aren't always the most positive, especially for everything you have gone through. You're gaurding your heart, makes sense. Hopefully on friday you can relax putting everything out of your mind and just concentrate on the healthy lil one you're welcoming to make a home for. I wish I had more comforting words, just know we are all here for you. Praying this journey will bring you your sweet rainbow baby!

---TW Loss mentioned--The ruled out any genetic issue, ruled out most likely not band syndrome. Chalking it up to a vascular issue however the full autopsy still has not been completed, should receive the full results by September as I guess this is not priority.

@lmajin99- we meet with the new team next Thursday. It’s been a long wait. I’m very anxious they will find more things wrong, probably irrational as the rest of the scan looked good. But after this happening, of course my mind is always worst case scenario.

Gosh girl, I’m so you had to go so long with no answers. What torture. I guess the “good news”
Is that it’s likely not going to repeat if it’s not a specific genetic condition linked to the egg or sperm provider? I can only imagine your anxiety and mixed feelings as you start the process again. Always thinking of you and sending love and strength. You are so brave and strong!

@Hopeful_mom just waiting for my calendar. I wish they’d bring me in to see if the cysts have disappeared prior to starting priming. I don’t know if that’s normal or not.

@JamieH2000 I know the wait is so hard. It’s torturous. Hopefully, the appointment will provide some peace and a little plan.

@lmajin99 how did it go today?? I can imagine it must be so hard after what you have been through, but you are strong and everything will be ok. Praying for you girlie. And I am so shocked the results are taking that long. it must be very frustrating. but at least it ruled out genetic issues.

@JamieH2000 Im kind of a mixed bag. Im calm most of the time, but anxious other times. Im trying not to get too worked up because with my history of losses, anything can happen. Im praying the doctors next week can give you some more insight into what's going on. This wait must be torturous for you.

@Hopeful_mom Cant wait to hear how your scan went! Teddy is doing great! He is back to his old self and we are still waiting on official results from tumor removal, but preliminary results is that it is scar tissue! Im so annoyed we put him through surgery for scar tissue, but his biopsy said it was cancer. So I guess this is best case scenario, I am just waiting for official results.

Just had my ultrasound and well......There are definetly 3 different babies in there, all with excellent heart beats between 135 and 150. The third baby measures 6 weeks 5 days, and I am 7 weeks 1 day, so I assume it implanted a day later than the twins and that's why it didnt have a heart beat last week. The twins look like they are on top of each other, right next to each other, and no discernible sac between them which is kinda scary meaning they might be mo-mo twins and high risk from taking nutrients and blood from one while the other doesn't get as much. So that worries me. But im honestly happy the 3rd baby is there because now I know that im at least having a boy and a girl with the bonus identical matching with one of them. This was my last girl embryo so Im happy to know she survived somehow. Im still freaked out and in shock over this. I honestly didnt think there would be 3 in there, I just cant believe this. I go through all this trauma and such a hard journey to get here and immediately I know we are looking at a very very high risk pregnancy that could put both me and the babies at risk and its scary. I don't regret putting 2 in with my history, but I wish that we didnt have one split like that. So I cant freak out yet because anything can happen still. We are hoping the perinatologist will see me next week or the week after. Their equipment is way more high tech so we can see more.

@andreamm31 Just popping in to say how very happy I am for you. You are one of the main reasons I still come on here after so long and pray I see good news. My heart has ached every step of your journey and I’m so happy to hear you had a successful transfer. I know that this whole pregnancy will be like walking on egg shells and you’ll be extra cautious. I also know how hard it is to enjoy it as we always freak out over every little thing because it feels like the ball is always going to drop but try to enjoy it if you can. I’m so very happy for you and your three munchkins. May God bless all four of you and keep you in great health.

So happy for everyone else too!

And for those still trying, don’t give up hope.

I’m always peeking in to see how everyone is doing even after all these years. 😉

Thank you asking everything went well today. Surprisingly I was fairly calm but did think a lot about the baby we lost and hope the babies spirit will live on with our next pregnancy. Guess I am PUPO, embryo looked good and was hatching. Fingers crossed for implantation and just thinking of one step at a time.

Wow, I have no words for you but it seems like you are in good hands with your clinic and of course with having your hubby so calm and supportive. You are so strong and have been through so much that this is universe way of giving you the abundance that you completely deserve. I know the fears but even with a singleton you would have lots of fears. I think you will do great as will your babies

AFM: Sorry Im not on as often, I try and check in but can't comment on the same day, the nausea just takes over! Update below...

Finally got to see my OB yay!! Ever since my first Beta I was looking forward to this just to get to this next step. Everything poo poo looks perfect, he did a full exam and now I've been lightly staining ever since...its all brown so trying not to panic and assuming its still just from his examination. I go to the High risk Dr this week so praying all will still be looking perfect. Will have blood work done as well, I think its the NPIT testing. One milestone at a time!!

@JamieH2000 @Hopeful_mom they told me today they will schedule me asap. They are waiting for one more thing from my doc I guess. But sounds like I'll be in sometime this week or next. Then I have appts scheduled for 12 and 14 weeks with my OB.

As most of you know, we shared a donor and Gina just had her beautiful baby girl Adrielle Elora this morning 5lb 15oz and 19.5 inches. Mama and baby are doing well and she is the cutest little munchkin. 💗

@JamieH2000 I’m having bloodwork done weekly to see where my estrogen and progesterone are. I go back Thursday for more bloodwork. I think if I ovulate on my own, I’ll get to start priming in a week or so. Thanks for checking on me. How are you feeling?

@andreamm31 omg so crazy last night she was on my mind and I wanted to ask you about her and got sidetracked on something else. Has it really been 9 months already wow, sometimes if feels like life is standing still and other times flying back. Such wonderful news, please send her my best! I’m really hoping they get you in! Are you working right now? My friends that’s a nurse is constantly getting peaks at the baby since she works at a hospital so she’s never concerned per say when her appointments are. How are you feeling?

Unfortunately our follow up echo gave us more bad news, that wasn't really on our radar.

It looks like the pulmonary valve is likely completely closed and this makes the right ventricle chamber narrow/not develop right. We went through all the range of options of what could happen, and we won't really know a path until baby is born and they can do a cath dye procedure to map out all the flow of the heart.

The most likely outcome is that baby will need a procedure/surgery within the first 1-2 weeks to put in a tube/shunt to keep the blood flowing right. Its looking unlikely that a simple balloon cath procedure would work. This means probably 3-4 weeks in the hospital after birth. Depending on how things progress, its likely we would need an open heart procedure (Glenn procedure) at 4-6 months and then another open heart procedure at 3ish years (Fontan procedure). With these procedures, baby girl should be able to live a normal full life, until adulthood when complications arise. At this time, the only cure in adulthood is a heart transplant, thought science will hopefully evolve in the next 20-40 years. THis part really got me. Its just beyond overwhelming. And hard to not know what to expect.

I'm trying to adjust my short term reality that December will be a long hard month. and that likely we will have a very scary surgery at 4-6 months. I will be having fetal echo's every 4 weeks and going in at 28, 30, 32 and then weekly for scans and checks.

Appreciate all your prayers. I'm still praying a miracle to somehow avoid this likely path.

@JamieH2000 my heart hurts for you. I know this is all scary and overwhelming. Praying for peace and guidance. You’re right that medical innovations will have been discovered and created in the next 20-40 years. Break throughs happen all of the time. Praying it won’t be as bad as they are saying.

Afm, had bloodwork done yesterday and am waiting to hear from my RE. I don’t think it shows I’ve ovulated, which would be weird for me not to. Oh well. I’m almost to the point of saying, “I’m done.” if there’s another delay. We’ve been trying off and on for 3 years.

@Hopeful_mom I've done that in previous pregnancies....used an ultrasound to take a peek, but I think I'm a few weeks away from being able to see much. I did buy a doppler though and actually picked up one of their heart beats, which I was totally surprised by! I feel ya girl with the nausea...im right there with ya. It never ends and is constant.

@lmajin99 have you tested yet?? Fingers crossed.

@JamieH2000 ughhhhh I just want to give you the biggest hug. I'm so sorry you guys are going through all this. You must be a bundle of nerves. It seems like the doctors have a good plan and you are in good hands. I just can't believe this is happening to you.

I caved and POAS on Saturday and it is showing positive. I go in tomorrow for my first beta. The clinic makes you wait a full week for the 2nd beta but I an going to try to see if they will let me go in sooner. Fingers crossed for a strong beta for me.

@andreamm31- thank you friend. Its up and down- as you know. I will say, infertility has given me resilience I never would have had before. It doesn't seem fair to have more complications, but if anyone can us these curveballs, its us you know? I will be anxiously awaiting thursday with you!!

@lmajin99. Omg!!!! Yay!!!! I agree, they better let you test again in 48hr, you need this reassurance after everything you have been through. I'm doing ok. I freaked a lil yesterday because I had a few hrs without nausea and last time that happened, my baby had passed away. Of course it came back, but the ptsd is real. Geez🙄

@jamieh2000. You are a warrior girl. I already know you can get through anything....I just wish you weren't constantly challenged Ike this.

HCG is 231 this morning. They are letting me repeat it on Friday rather than waiting a full week and then will have a 3rd next week. I am cautiously happy and excited.

@Hopeful_mom. Im still pretty darn nauseous and wiped out. Its a lot!

AFM:

Our ultrasound was a mixed bag of emotions. First of all, they are pretty certain that they are all 3 identical triplets!! Which is so crazy to me. It does make sense because all 3 are separated by a thin membrane and they are all right next to each other. So they all have their own sac. Baby A had a HB of 176 and baby B was 167. They were measuring on track and looked good. Sadly, baby C stopped growing just shy of 7 weeks and no longer had a heart beat. I am just kinda numb I guess. I am so used to loss at this point, and I know in my heart that this is for the best for all of us, but im still sad that one didnt make it and scared that more are gonna drop like flies after this. Its hard to believe that they will make it all the way when I am so used to them dying in first trimester. Im very nervous that my next appt isn't until 12 weeks now and I really wanted to get the NIPT done earlier so I can find out the sex. I also am sad because if this wasn't my girl embryo, then I just lost my shot at having my girl. So its hard to realize that one of the embryos didnt implant at all. So im in a weird place. Im happy 2 look good, and obviously twins is way more manageable than triplets and safer....but its hard losing one. I didnt realize I would feel so weird about this. It really reinforced for me having put 2 embryos in this time...esp since I know now only 1 implanted....but holy cow is it crazy there could have been 3 identical babies.

@andreamm31- that is a lot and I would be feeling the mix of emotions too. I lost in a twin at 7 weeks with my first and it was definitely hard and bittersweet. Is there any way you can have weekly scans until 12 weeks? Or at least one more at 9/10 weeks?! 12 weeks is too long to wait! I would beg!!

2nd Beta Results (3 days after) is 846. Feeling really good and they are letting me do one more on Monday. Ultrasound is schedule for the week after. Hope it goes by really quick.

@andreamm31 I’m always on the edge of my seat with you, I get the mixed emotions I would too! I’m so surprised about the triplets, in they would’ve seen that. Is there just one placenta? I happen to be reading up on itnlately from another friend....all the membranes is great news! So glad you’re getting an appt! For situations like yours there should always be an exception for drs squeezing you in! How far long are you now? Really hoping you’re taking it easy!!

@hopeful_mom I didnt realize it at first but at the specialty OB it was clear as day that they were identical, there was just a thin membrane separating all 3. Ive seen pictures of fraternal twins and triplets and they are much further apart and very separate. Mine were like literally on top of each other in the same space. Im currently 9 weeks 3 days. My doctor is amazing, she offered to swing over to do an ultrasound Monday from her hospital on call shift....but I told her I already got a call that the midwife would see me. I think she is really going above and beyond for me to help me get through these next few weeks. Ive never made it past 9 weeks with a heart beat. So even tomorrows ultrasound will be new for me if they are both ok. The PTSD is so real, im telling ya.

3rd beta results

All is well, in three days went up to 2600 so more than doubling in two days is occurring. I am trying to focus on the positive with happy thoughts but that PTSD is making it hard sometimes. Next Thursday will be the U/S.

Afm: all good, yet still have meltdowns. More below...

Saw my OB and everything is looking good and my tests results are where they should be. I’ll take the win, I was very emotional crying in my car probably just having some relief. The ptsd is real and I’m super emotional!
I love that my OB lets me know it’s safe to color my hair! Oy The grays are out

it’s definitely worse then last time, he was nice and said it’s the same for him
