@runsoncoffee My DS was 37 weeks too! Scary at the time but he was healthy and all good, and my recovery was super easy! I keep wondering if this one will be early or (with my luck) late! @cagncoo12 peloton user here too! although I've felt SO tired and terrible lately I haven't done it at all- just got the email from them with the "we miss seeing you around here!" lol- I need to get back on it, even if just to do a scenic ride while I watch tv..
@cagncoo12@pelorunningmama I'm a peloton-er too! What classes are you guys doing now in pregnancy? I was previously pushing myself pretty hard and doing a lot of HIIT and tabata, but I have majorly scaled back and am just taking it easier. I love Cody, so I've started doing his 30 min pop rides and just grooving without pushing super hard.
@bbrahmbhatt I love Cody too and do all his pop rides. I ride Powerzone rides though and just started a new 8 week Powerzone challenge where I am told what three rides to ride each week. It has made me so much stronger doing this style class and I love not having to think about what to ride! I’m worried I won’t be able to hang though since feeling pretty wiped out these days.
How’d you find out? I thought I was getting my period with all the cramping and spotting, but then I didn't. And then my boobs got really sore. And then I started getting tired. And then I watched the little digital countdown timer on the test shoot up really fast and I knew.
Other children/pets? DD is 4; and our wonderful senior doggy
Job? I was a personal trainer until the pandemic hit; I'm still open for business, but don't have any clients, so I'm working retail part-time
Things you like to do? Anything fitness-related, hiking, reading, listening to music, cooking, crafts
Spouse/partner? My wonderful husband - together for 10 years, married for 7
First appointment? Telehealth with nurse on October 2; first in-person on October 23
Any symptoms? Sore boobs, tiredness, hungry but don't feel like eating/get full fast, gassy, constipated, bloated - definitely different than I felt the first time around!
High risk / concerns? Luckily, no! I'm in the AMA camp but have no reasons for concern. Just general anxiety, which I was hoping wouldn't be so bad this time around.
How’d you find out?I had an IUI, so I tested the four days my doctor told me to and watched the line get darker and appear more rapidly.
Other children/pets? I have a 15-year-old chihuahua named Jimmy.
Job? I teach high school journalism and English.
Things you like to do? Read, nap, take pictures, swim.
Spouse/partner? Fiancé is in private security. He is an army veteran and former police officer.
First appointment? August 20. Issa baby in there, heart beat was visible, but not audible.
Any symptoms? Super tired, some nausea, some discomfort, slowed digestion, mild nausea.
High risk / concerns? I have PCOS and am overweight. I had some bleeding Sunday night and went to the ER. Baby was still ok, but I have a subchorionic hematoma, which means it's bleeding between the baby and the uterine lining. I have to stay home and rest and go in for another appointment Friday.
@bbrahmbhattI did Ally Love/Emma Lovewell's Prince ride yesterday and it was amazing! I'm definitely afraid I'm pushing too hard, but I feel good right now (for the most part, when I'm not napping on the couch in the middle of the day lol) so I'm trying to take advantage!
@eahayes I took a long hiatus over the winter from my bike and got back into with scenic rides while i read, then worked back into themed rides. It's hard to find the motivation some days!
@bbrahmbhatt I love Cody, he is so funny!! I've been doing a lot of low impact lately as well as power zone endurance rides. Standing seems to increase my cramping, so i'm staying in the seat for now.
@anarmillay92918 that is on my list of rides to do! Ally Love was my go-to instructor until i found Power Zone.
@mamasnek I had a SCH my last pregnancy. If you want to chat about it at all, feel free to DM me. Or head over to the spotting/bleeding/cramping thread. That really helped me last pregnancy. Out of 80 or so of us there were 5 with SCHs!!! They are fairly common although some women barely noticed theirs or they were really small (mine was not small).
*Lurking from TTGP* OOOOH! @bbrahmbhatt so happy to see you over here!!!! Have you called your OB then? @kadeephd really happy for you too. H&H 9 months!

Hi All! Happy to be here and share this journey with you all! Due date? April 21
How’d you find out? I literally knew the day after conception, because my heart began racing for no reason. I had tachycardia during my other two pregnancies, however, it came on much later in the pregnancy. Got a BFP a day before my missed period.
Other children/pets? I have DS who is 4 and DD who is 2. We just had to put our 10.5 year old Great Dane down in June, so we are petless... for now.
Job? I am a Pollution Prevention Supervisor for a regional sewer authority.
Things you like to do? Being with my kids as much as possible since I work full-time, spending time with family, anything outdoors, watching garbage reality tv.
Spouse/partner? DH and I have been together for 9 years, married for 6 years.
First appointment? September 16.
Any symptoms? Not much of anything which is scaring the crap out of me. I just have some bloating and lower back pain at night.
High risk / concerns?Just AMA, because I am 36, but my last two pregnancies went well, so not hugely concerned.
@acleverusername thank you! I hated to just dash out from TTGP, but I hadn't been around for a full three months, so I didn't want to upset anyone! Yes, I ended up messaging her and I have my first prenatal visit 9/21 at 9 weeks. I have EVERYTHING crossed for all of you on TTGP
Hi everyone!! I'm new here to the forums and excited to join and have a community of expecting moms to chat with!
Due date? April 7th (also my husband's birthday!! how crazy is that??)
How’d you find out? We wanted to start trying earlier this year, but with the pandemic we decided to wait a little bit. We basically said whatever happened, happened... we weren't going to go back on birth control but we weren't going to obsessively time things either. Then, July was our first month that we said, okay let's officially "try" and time things and we got pregnant right away! I just took an at home pregnancy test about 2 weeks after ovulating and was happily surprised!
Other children/pets? First time human mom, but we have a very cute dachshund
Job? My husband and I both worked in the corporate world in NYC - me as a lawyer and my husband in sales and last year we both decided to leave those jobs and start a wedding business together - it's been SO fun!! We bought a house out in the suburbs earlier this year.
Things you like to do? I'm a big traveler, loving trying new foods/restaurants, enjoy reading, binge watching tv haha
Spouse/partner? Yep, our 1 year wedding anniversary was in June.
First appointment? I had my first appointment a few days after the positive pregnancy test to confirm pregnancy. They did an ultrasound but we really couldn't see anything at all yet except for a thickened lining of the uterus. I'm very excited to go back on 8/31 because I'll be about 8.5/9 weeks then!
Any symptoms? I am totally exhausted all of the time. I've NEVER been a napper and now I totally need naps every single day. I haven't had physical morning sickness (no throwing up), but I do frequently feel nauseous and I've had very little appetite. Stomach cramps, etc.
High risk / concerns? No risks, thankfully, that I know of currently. Just terrified of giving birth! haha.
@theblondebump Congratulations & welcome! Your getting pregnant story is so similar to mine with DS. We did not trying, not preventing ish, but the first month we actually made sure I was in the fertile window - hurrah ❤️. What an exciting time! How cool that you had an early ultrasound as well.
Hubby & Me: Born 1993 Married: August 2013 Son: December 2018 Baby in heaven: February 2020, was due Sept
How’d you find out? Was feeling extra tired and some sore boobs—took about 4 tests and boom, all positive!
Other children/pets? 1 dog (my sweet German shepherd) and 1 cat
Job? Counselor
Things you like to do? Running, binge-watching horrible reality tv, trying new restaurants and food
Spouse/partner? Been married to hubs for 2.5 years now. He works in the ER...so have been being extra cautious re: COVID
First appointment? Not until 9/22!! (10w) was the earliest doc could get me in. I am anxious!
Any symptoms? Painful gas cramps, no appetite, more tired than normal, random wake ups at 3/4am (then am able to fall asleep after being up for about an hour)
High risk / concerns? Not high risk that I know of. Just concerns going through this for my first time!
How’d you find out? I was a few days late, which isn’t completely abnormal, but decided to test just in case. After 3 tests I finally believed that BFP 🙂 We had talked about starting to try, but hadn’t and we’re very surprised but happy.
Other children/pets? Just an adorable hedgehog.
Job? Talent Acquisition
Things you like to do? Traveling, Disney (I’m local), cooking, and now making fun mocktails
Spouse/partner? Married 3.5 years
First appointment? Still scheduling
Any symptoms? I feel very bloated with a ton of gas and can’t stop eating. Boobs are slightly sore.
High risk / concerns? Just the normal freak outs from all of my googling. I do have a naturally low BMI which I’m hoping won’t impact anything.
@kelseyyh yes! I was surprised that they fit me in so quickly for a first appointment, but I was glad! I don't think I could have been patient enough to wait all the way until like 8+ weeks for a first appointment! I'm sending you all the positive vibes for your pregnancy!!
@hedgie31 I love that you have a hedgehog! I have always been labeled underweight too and it hasn't affected my pregnancies. I have two healthy girls! The most annoying part was that people feel as though they're allowed to comment on your weight/size/shape when you're pregnant and I had several women tell me I wasn't big enough/eating enough. Okay, let me magically make my morning sickness stop so I can gain all this weight you want me to gain. I'll get right on that. *eye roll*
@bblair24 Ugh weight comments suck! I’m on the other end with a higher BMI. I feel like recent culture has made comments less common for people like me, but ridiculously common for people like you ❤️.
I do get super annoyed hearing how many people “only gain the baby” 😂, but I’m probably just jealous. So thankful that my OB never once commented about weight, she literally only mentioned it if I did (I was quite a bit smaller then, I still have some baby weight now). Hoping my GP who will be following me this time round is exactly the same. I hope the same for you! Our bodies will do what they do!
Hubby & Me: Born 1993 Married: August 2013 Son: December 2018 Baby in heaven: February 2020, was due Sept
Hi all. Glad to find this board to be a part of. I'm pretty anxious about finding out I'm pregnant and glad to find a group to connect with.
Due date? April 27th
How’d you find out? I had been MORE exhausted then normal and know my body pretty well when it's "out of whack" - so I took a cheap test and it was positive. Took another one the day after my missed period to make sure....
Other children/pets? 2 boys ages 10 and 7 - we also have a dog and a cat
Job? Massage Therapist & Esthetician
Things you like to do? Hiking, camping, reading, gardening
Spouse/partner? We've been married 12 years
First appointment? Not setup yet
Any symptoms? Exhuasted and tender breasts
High risk / concerns? I'm 36 - so considered "geriatric" - whatever that entails. I'm also vegan and I've never done a pregnancy vegan - so I'm nervous what that looks like making sure I get all the proper nutrients. I'm also a little anxious about being pregnant during a pandemic and not being able to have my hubby come to my appointments with me.
How’d you find out? was sitting down to watch tv and opened a beer and almost puked....realized I was 3 days late. Thought to my self "there's no way".....got my BFP! and then dumped the beer in the sink lol
Other children/pets? 2 Dogs, 2 Cats
Job? Federal Bureau of Prisons
Things you like to do? Paint & horticulture
Spouse/partner? Husband Married on May 4th 2019
First appointment? September 18th (8 week appointment)
Any symptoms? some cramping and so tired
High risk / concerns? Lost my twin girls in October 2019 at 12 weeks. On progesterone supplements. Hoping for my Rainbow Baby
How’d you find out? We did our 2nd medicated IUI in July and were told to test Aug 1. Curiosity killed the cat, so we tested July 31 and received our first faint positive!
Other children/pets? 2 yr old GSD and a very old orange cat.
Job? Hairstylist
Things you like to do? DIY projects around the house and generally just like to hang out.
Spouse/partner? My partner and I have been together for 5 years in November.
First appointment? We had an early ultra sound at 6 weeks (we saw the heart beat!). Next appt is on Sept. 3.
Any symptoms? ALL of the symptoms. So tired, so sick, and cramping from time to time. I have described it has a permanent hangover.
High risk / concerns? AMA, previous loss and an ectopic so I'm on progesterone.
@mbiegler0622@cconn003 Welcome & congratulations! I am so sorry for your losses 💔. I am also PGAL & taking progesterone. Praying for healthy rainbow babies this April for all of us.
Hubby & Me: Born 1993 Married: August 2013 Son: December 2018 Baby in heaven: February 2020, was due Sept
@kelseyyh I just now saw your comment! Sorry about that. It’s so great that your OB doesn’t focus on weight. Life is stressful enough without making that a focus. My previous OB didn’t either, except to say that my steady weight was a good sign once good ole GD came along. I’m at a new OB now and I’m hoping they just let it go too! You’re right about the weight comments. I don’t know why people have to talk about weight/size/shape at all honestly! Even things that are probably meant to be a compliment are just uncomfortable and rude. We all know that everybody has a weight. No need to comment on it, haha!
I love me some Big Brother, just started Love Island (didn’t see season 1. Not sure how I feel about it, yet.), Selling Sunset (the dramaaa & absolutely nothing like my Tx Realtor job lol.) Rest of my shows are all MTV- Siesta Key, The Challenge, Catfish, Double Shot at Love & so many others that aren’t on currently.. so embarrassing lol. I DVR them and watch them way later, usually!
@shantx omg I also love big brother - so sad its not on this summer! Did you watch the Siesta Key reunion - wowza re: Brandon! Really enjoyed Selling Sunset too. Love my guilty pleasures haha.
@shantx omg I loved selling sunset! Mine are even more embarrassing because I'm a bravo junkie (most of the real housewives, below deck, etc.) and SO into 90 day fiancee! Total train wrecks and so addicting!
@cconn003 yes on the hangover- mine has morphed into an almost extreme jet lag.. Like when you're SO tired that you're nauseous but still struggling to stay awake ..
@mbiegler0622 I am so sorry to hear about your twins- I have a history of loss as well and was JUST able to stop my progesterone shots (still on the vaginal pill and oral estrace for another week). It's so nice being off it! Happy to have you here
TRIGGER WARNING I first got pregnant in June and had an early loss in July. I hadn’t got my period after the miscarriage but I assumed it was just delayed due to the m/c but took a test just in case totally not expecting it to be positive. I was shocked to get a really strong positive line!! It was all pretty confusing and I wondered if I had been misdiagnosed and had never had a loss but the doctor recently confirmed it is a new pregnancy. I’ve been really cautious about getting too excited since it’s on the heels of a loss but I’m hoping this one sticks!!
Other children/pets? I have a son turning 3 next week.
Job? Pharmaceutical Research Associate
Things you like to do? Running, hiking, surfing, being outdoors, eating
Spouse/partner? Married my husband in March in our backyard with all our guests on zoom because of the pandemic!! We had been engaged for years but then we had our first son and and never had time to plan a wedding. Finally planned it and then everything closed but we figured we had waited long enough and just got it done!
Any symptoms? Sore boobs at first. Now at 6 weeks the nausea is kicking in. Oddly it’s only in afternoon/evening.
High risk / concerns? Im 38 and had cholestasis, pre-e and HELLP syndrome with my first so I will be closely watched. I was so scared and reluctant to have another baby after all my previous complications but made the decision to go for it. It will be a scary 9 months but I’m hopeful!!
@jenn622-2 I also had PreE with my first pregnancy, I'm pretty nervous about pregnancy #2, but doing my best to stay healthy and positive! I can't even imagine how you feel after having all three of those! I feel like i have PTSD just from PreE!
@cconn003 The hangover description is the only way I've been able to describe it to my husband. It's not nausea the way I expected, but it feels like 3 pm the day after you've had too many margaritas except ALL the time and without any of the fun lol
@cagncoo12 I definitely feel like I have PTSD from it all. It all happened so suddenly and I had no warning signs which freaks me out the most. I only went to the hospital because something felt “off” and when I got there they were like oh yea you are in liver failure and bleeding internally. It was crazy. Is your doctor starting you on aspirin? Mine suggests starting aspirin at 12 weeks. Fingers crossed for both of us!! ❤️
How’d you find out? Took a test the day of my expected cycle. I had spotting off and on for two days leading up to my expected cycle. This is what lead me to test for the previous two pregnancies.
Other children/pets? 8y/o DS, 4y/o DS, Angel Baby (was due October 2020)
Job? I own a business. I'm a Cake Baker/ Cake Decorator.
Things you like to do? I love to bake, craft, and garden.
Spouse/partner? I've been married for 11 years.
First appointment? September 10
Any symptoms? Nausea, sore breasts, fatigue
High risk / concerns? Yes, I had an MMC in February and the doctor said it could happen again because of my age (36). I've spent the last 2.5 weeks worried that something bad will happen.
Hi @honeybee1984 ! So cool that you bake/decorate cakes! I work in the wedding industry and I'm always amazed at how talented the cake bakers/decorators are!! Wishing the absolute best for you for a healthy pregnancy!
@shantx omg I also love big brother - so sad its not on this summer! Did you watch the Siesta Key reunion - wowza re: Brandon! Really enjoyed Selling Sunset too. Love my guilty pleasures haha.
I just watched SK reunion today!!! Oyyye! I really love Brandon, but dislike his (multiple) cheating tendencies & now he has a secret love child!! Stahhpppp!!!!
I’m loving BB this season! I’m rooting for so many of the older castmates, as I haven't watched the last few years! Bayleigh has been on MTV’s The Challenge and I didn’t like her on there, but she’s not as bad on BB, since that’s her original show!
Re: Introductions!
@cagncoo12 peloton user here too! although I've felt SO tired and terrible lately I haven't done it at all- just got the email from them with the "we miss seeing you around here!" lol- I need to get back on it, even if just to do a scenic ride while I watch tv..
Due date? April 29

Due date? April 21
First appointment? September 16.
Any symptoms? Not much of anything which is scaring the crap out of me. I just have some bloating and lower back pain at night.
High risk / concerns? Just AMA, because I am 36, but my last two pregnancies went well, so not hugely concerned.
Due date? April 7th (also my husband's birthday!! how crazy is that??)
Just terrified of giving birth! haha.
Married: August 2013
Son: December 2018
Baby in heaven: February 2020, was due Sept
Due date? Est. 4/19ish
Due date? April 24th
Married: August 2013
Son: December 2018
Baby in heaven: February 2020, was due Sept
Due date? April 27th
First appointment? September 18th (8 week appointment)
Any symptoms? some cramping and so tired
High risk / concerns? Lost my twin girls in October 2019 at 12 weeks. On progesterone supplements. Hoping for my Rainbow Baby
Due date? April 12
Welcome & congratulations! I am so sorry for your losses 💔. I am also PGAL & taking progesterone. Praying for healthy rainbow babies this April for all of us.

I first got pregnant in June and had an early loss in July.
How’d you find out? Took a test the day of my expected cycle. I had spotting off and on for two days leading up to my expected cycle. This is what lead me to test for the previous two pregnancies.
Job? I own a business. I'm a Cake Baker/ Cake Decorator.
First appointment? September 10
Any symptoms? Nausea, sore breasts, fatigue
High risk / concerns? Yes, I had an MMC in February and the doctor said it could happen again because of my age (36). I've spent the last 2.5 weeks worried that something bad will happen.
