July Symptoms

Re: July Symptoms

  • I will undoubtedly be asking my OB about this Thursday - my groin (on the left side) and my left lip (tmi, sorry) hurt. Like I cry actual tears when I walk or especially if I’m taking my pants off and have to bear all of my weight on that side and it’s especially terrible when I roll over at night. It is so painful and I don’t even know how to explain the pain. It’s usually at the end of the day I can feel it progressively getting worse - usually the last 2 hours or so at work start to get uncomfortable and by 7 or 8PM I’m in tears.

  • @Ecat504 that sounds awful! I hope you can get some relief!
  • @Ecat504 I am SO sorry. Could it be symphysis pubis dysfunction?

  • @name1109 omg I have been having that too!! I was just telling MH I don’t know what that is but it’s painful!

    @Ecat504 maybe a varicose vein?
  • @kitkatz1990 I’m wondering if it’s heartburn. It’s KILLING me
  • @name1109 it could be related, because I am definitely having some EXTREME heartburn these days!!
  • @dumbledoredies I need to sleep in clothes too! The weenie dogs and the baby sleeps with us.
I’ve been waking up feeling like someone has punched me in The Who-ha. I guess sleeping on my side is causing so much pressure down there it feels like my groin is collapsing.
  • @dumbledoredies another vote for clothes! But my brain works like this - what if something happens in the middle of then night (I always think fire) and I’m suddenly outside and in the world in whatever I’m wearing to bed? Alas, no naked sleeping for me.

  • Ads me to team clothing! But not a LOT of clothing. I have a couple loose nightgowns that I essentially live in once I get home from work. Yesterday I was wearing a tank style sundress and fell asleep in that. But I HATE wearing underwear to bed. Maybe I just need to buy bigger ones but it'll dig into my legs 😩

Otherwise I'll wear a tank top and a pair of MHs boxers

  • Restless legs are the worst. Is anyone else experiencing them? Sometimes they will keep me up to 1AM.  The doctor said extra magnesium and iron might help. For me it helps sometimes.  Pickle juice used to help but now it doesn't.
  • @bundleofjoy4iluvu yes! Definitely have been dealing with that lately. Last night was particularly bad. I may need to try magnesium and iron, as it makes it so hard to fall asleep!
  • Anyone else exhausted all day then wide awake as soon as they lay down to go to bed? 🤔
  • Same @lalarose22 I’ve been so exhausted here lately. I guess I’m being welcomed into the 3 Tri. However, when I lay down I suddenly have all the energy to play on my phone.
  • My aches and pains have really ramped up this week. My hips and legs are SO sore and achy by the time I get home from work. It’s not even the 3rd trimester yet! 😩
  • I’m so annoyed. I went outside for an hour around 2 pm. You would have thought I ran a dang marathon. I’ve been drinking and eating. My body is like—time for baby??????? Ok here are a ton of BHs. I had to sit down for the whole afternoon/ evening. So dang annoyed.

@kitkatz1990 I’m so sorry for the aches and pains. They are zero fun.
  • @name1109 the BH are sooooo irritating. I get a ton of them at night too.
  • Been getting some abdominal pain lately on my left side. I'm thinking it's prob normal stuff, but I think it's signaling the end of the easiness of 2nd trimester.  :'(
