  • @bserena this girl STAYS on my bladder!! I wake up in the middle of the night and have to basically run to make it to the bathroom on time because she decides to just throw herself at it basically lol! I just know I’m going to end up peeing myself before this pregnancy is over, my bladder control isn’t what it once was!
  • That's so cool that you're all able to feel everything so well. I have an anterior placenta and think I can only really feel kicks so far. Today I had my phone on my belly and swear baby moving made the phone jump. That's probably the most I've felt so far.
  • @warmwinter that's awesome! It probably was baby kicks! They're getting stronger and bigger every day and sometimes I'm surprised at how much i can feel compared to just a few days earlier. I didnt use an oject but the first time i saw a kick from the outside i made my husband stare at my belly until he saw it too! I thought maybe it was just my imaginations since i can feel it as well😅 Hope you start to feel more also! If only babies would only kick towards the outside, I would wish you all the hardest kicks in the world. i don't want to wish you hard kicks to your organs though so...😉
  • I am hungry all day...until dinner. I want nothing to do with it at all . I have been eating a little because I know I need to. I think it is mostly because I really want nothing to do with meat.

I'm super exhausted as well but that could be from chasing my 22 month old around.
  • @windywoman it's the worst to be hungry and food sounds gross! Is there anything that does sound good to eat? I've been eating a ton of fruit...thank goodness it's summer! I agree, meat is hard to eat, chicken especially and normally I love meat. I've found that if food is served to me, I can eat it fine but if I have to think about it for too long before hand I start to get grossed out. Hope this passes soon for you!

I feel huge already and my bump gets so heavy in the evenings. How am I going to be able to stand up and move come October when this baby has tripled in size🙈 ok, I know it's completely possible but as a FTM here its kinda freaking me out to think about it!
That freaks me out too as a FTM.
  • Ummm..... anyone else have increased sex drive? MH isnt as excited about this as I would have thought he’d be. 😭
I wish for this but NO my sex drive is almost zero. I feel for MH really.
  • My current symptoms are tail bone pain when I sit for long. I just hope it is not Coccydynia. :'(
Also, this soreness at the sole of my feet when I wake up in the morning.
  • @babywiik I can pretty much handle anything but meat right now. I seem to be the same way as you with be served verse me cooking it. After i take the time to prepare it I am totally grossed out. I have been eating a ton of fruit and veggies so that's good!
  • @windywoman I feel ya with the meat! My family smokes a lot of meat and usually I love it but lately I can’t stomach it.

^Unrelated but I still get up to pee 3-4x a night!! Everyone said it would get better in the 2nd tri before it got worse in the 3rd. But holy crap I swear I’m up every 2 hrs! I’m thinking this LO is just hanging out on my bladder.
  • @1sttimemomma98 Baby has been hanging out super low for me, but I think she just moved up a bit because I was peeing 2-3x a night until a few nights ago, and then have been getting up once, or, gasp, not at all! since then.

  • @potofgolden 😂😂 I loved your announcement by the way, congratulations!!
@hedgepig ah yay!! hoping mine moves up soon!
  • @potofgolden YES!!!! (to the catheter)

    Pregnancy Ticker
  • The peeing is getting SO excessive. I keep hoping she’ll move up a little, lol. I remember they told me with my 2nd pregnancy that my first had made a lot of room in my pelvis and that’s why my daughter stayed so low...this one seems to be following suit.
  • @1sttimemomma98 I am getting up at least 3 times per night to pee, too! Ugh! At my AS, it looked like my little guy was sitting directly on my bladder.
  • A few days ago I thought I was getting a UTI because I was getting that feeling that i needed to pee all the time! Super uncomfortable!! Thankfully it must have just been baby squashing my bladder because I haven't felt it any more!
  • Anyone have tips on getting baby to move? I was contemplating trying to hang upside down for a bit but wasn't sure how to accomplish that😅 I saw a picture of one lady with her elbows on the ground and knees on the couch (i think it was some kind of yoga?) Anyways, i wasnt sure how she mangaged to do that with a pregnant belly when I can barely roll over!😂
  • @potofgold i love oange juice so im sorry it gives you heart burn! And baby in lungs? Ugh!! That sounds terrible! Maybe I need to stop complaining of her sitting on my bladder🙈
  • @babywiik I haven't personally checked it out, but Spinning Babies website is a resource for moving babies and getting them into optimal position for birth. I don't know if they have any resources for this stage, but it's worth checking out in general!

@babywiik Is something wrong with her position? Or you just want to feel her moving around more? Or you want her off your bladder? :-) If it's the bladder factor, she'll likely move up soon once your uterus moves up a bit higher...but then you get fun other symptoms (like what @potofgolden said).

You'd typically only use Spinning Babies which is what the picture you're describing sounds like later in pregnancy if you're trying to get a baby out of breech or transverse positioning or if you want the baby to descend in preparation for delivery.

To just feel more kicks and jabs, you can try a COLD drink and/or something super sugary.... but this "early on" it still may not do much. Rest assured, you'll be feeling much more movement in the coming weeks. :-)

  • @potofgolden My first loved to be super high. I'm a teacher and I have such clear memories of standing in front of my class and literally pressing down on the top of my stomach while teaching in attempts to get her away from my lungs so I could breathe better. Hope your little one moves down a bit soon!

  • Icing? I have to try that haha!

@warmwinter I am having the same issue getting out of bed, and I don't remember that happening with DD until at least 32 weeks!

  • @babywiik Try drinking a glass of ice water and laying on your back for a bit.

I've recently noticed bursted capillaries on my belly - does anybody else have this issue? I've looked it up online, but there's not much info about it and I would LOVE to know if they will resolve themselves after delivery or if I will have to shell out for laser removal, later.
  • @crizz13 no, I don't thinkntheres any problem with position and since it is early there's still lots of time for movement. It's just when it gets uncomfortable and I wish I could make her move. I'll try the suggestions of having something cold to drink, changing my position etc. It's pry something that I'll just have to deal with and tough it out!😋
  • @babywiik this little girl likes to ball herself up in the front of my belly and it’s painful/tons of pressure on my bladder and so I usually turn over on my side and shake my belly a little and can usually get her to move.
  • @crizz13 I know. And with all this Covid scariness, I’m like do I have Corona? I can’t breathe, but I’m 99.9%sure it’s baby.
  • I’m with you ladies with low babies.... baby boy is still very keen on kicks to my cervix! Lol. But, I am also simultaneously very out of breath lately! I feel huge already. 😩
  • @potofgolden good point 😳😂 #blessed
  • @dumbledoredies Anytime I'm about to sneeze I clench those kegels real hard!
  • @laurenmicheley oh great reminder to start doing kegels! I forgot about kegels!
  • @dumbledoredies glad to hear I'm not the only one having to sneeze with caution lately, lol.

@dumbledoredies and @warmwinter, in line with snissing, I've had allergy/cold symptoms the last week (thanks DS going back to daycare) and on bad days the only safe place to blow my nose is on the toilet.

Also had some lightning crotch going on this week. It might be the only time I've been thankful for wearing a mask at work because it caught me so off guard
