My feet and ankles are swollen already that was quick!
Has anyone started to get the linea nigra yet? I don’t think mine ever fully went away after having DD (16mo). Mine has been visible, but not very dark.
I had my fair share of holding back pee/poo while puking as well! I started keeping a bucket by the toilet so I could sit down and then throw up...the choices I didnt know I'd have to make! @lurvleybunchococonuts I have been taking zofran every 2nd or 3rd day still and 100% agree it's a lifesaver!! I'm hoping the whole morning sickness thing passes soon so I don't have to wake up at 5 and eat something just so I don't feel so sick when I sleep in until 8!
@potofgolden My linea nigra showed up about a month ago. It's light but noticeable up to my belly button, but I think it might be a little lighter slightly above.
@potofgolden my linea negra has been around since week 14-15.
My current symptoms at 19 weeks: peeing all the time during the day, maybe up 1x at night, stuffy nose in the morning, uncomfortable sleeping (though I had 1 blessed night of sleep last weekend that didn't involve tossing or turning and helped whatever was aching my hips), wondering if my boobs will ever stop growing. Snissing will probably be in my future, I've come close already.
I'm feeling baby's movements a little more, but nothing like a real jab yet. For the most part, feeling like myself, and feeling good
I never got a linea negra with DD and I don't have one with the twins either. I also never had my belly button pop with DD and so far the twins are the same. But I have a bit of a tummy regardless of baby(ies) and what I would consider a deep belly button so maybe that's why 🤷🏻

I never got the linea negra with DD either and dont expect one to show up this time either. The kind of amusing thing to me was that DD was born with a similar kind of dark line from her belly button down and it’s lessened a bit as she’s grown but is definitely still there at 5 years old.
I didn’t get a linea negra until maybe 30 weeks or later. And my belly button never popped, but I have an extreme innie. It was super flat and I remember it was really tender!
I had a weird thing happen yesterday. I was at an indoor pool for DS’s swim lesson. It’s warm and humid in there. My Apple Watch alerted me that my heart rate had been at 150 for the last ten minutes. I realized my heart was pounding, my feet were bright red and I felt like I couldn’t breathe well. I felt ok as soon as we got outside. My MIL said I probably overheated. I never have really experience that and it was a little concerning!
@surlyjaneausten ooooh that's kinda scary. I'm super sensitive to heat and humidity esp when pregnant, I am just MISERABLE in it. But I've never had that happen before. Definitely keep and eye on it happening again ❤ and maybe mention it to your OB at your next appt 🤷🏻
With DD my belly button certainly got more shallow but thankfully didn't pop, I do recall it getting pretty tender so I can't imagine it popping put feeling good. My husband used to joke that is how you know the turkey (baby) is done cooking, "the popper pops out." Boo at him when it didn't happen to me 😆
Ughhh I have some epic underboob sweat/soreness from my dang bra today. I hates it. Also I officially have salami areola 🤣😂 I took my shirt off the other say and, again, MH, goes "oh god, and I thought they were bad when you were EPing for DD 😐" (the man is so very lucky I know he's just teasing and I'm not self conscious about it). My poor boobs 😆🤣😂

@lurvleybunchococonuts I’m definitely going to mention it to her. I can barely tolerate the heat while not pregnant either. I’ve never heard of salami areola but it describes the situation perfectly 😂. It bothered me so much the first time around but now I’m like “alright, here we go again, boobs.”
My belly button is pretty flat right now at 22 weeks so i suspect it will pop out eventually...I'll let you know how that goes if anyone is interested😜 thankfully it hasn't been too tender yet so it doesn't bother me. I am also starting to get a faint linea negra. @surlyjaneausten wow! That sounds scary! Good thing for your Apple watch!
@surlyjaneausten I've had that happen before and it is scary!! I have lay down, and drink something cold to calm down.
I am already a warm person, I keep my AC on 68, and I sleep with a fan but with it being 100 degrees every day I am miserable, out of breath, and this mask puts me on the edge of a panic attack every single day! Sighs

No linea negra, here so far. I think it has to do with how light or dark your skin tone is. I asked my mother if she got one and she didn't with any of her 4 pregnancies, so I'm curious to see if I will. Like @surlyjaneausten I have an extreme innie and doubt it'll pop out (and I hope it doesn't).
Here's a random question regarding foot size. If your feet grow during pregnancy, when do they grow and when do they stop? I want to buy a new pair of shoes, but they are expensive and will wait to see, if I must!
@laurenmicheley That's an interesting thought regarding the linea negra. I am SUPER duper paste-y lol. I'll have to ask my mom if she ever got one either! Are you sure your foot size is growing and they aren't just getting more swollen? Sorry if that sounds like I don't believe you, I know that they can grow because prior to DD I could get away with an 8.5 shoe (depending on style/brand) and now I'm solidly comfortable in a 9. I'm asking because them swelling is super common and less permanent. Make sure to keep them elevated if you can and convince YH/partner to rub them every night for you

@lurvleybunchococonuts I've actually had zero swelling, so far. I don't feel like my feet have grown, but not sure if they do that in late pregnancy and don't want to spend $$$ on new shoes that may not fit after I deliver.
Last night was the first time baby boy's kicks/movements actually felt uncomfortable. I was trying to go to sleep and I don't know what he was doing, lol, but holy crap. Somersaults? Front flips? Using my belly as a punching/kicking bag? I was like PLEASE STOPPPP, lol.
@laurenmicheley I went on a shoe buying frenzy in the later months of my pregnancy with DD. I was still working and almost none of my shoes fit. I typically wear an 8-8.5, but I had to buy size 9. I was able to buy and 8.5 in new balances. You can find NB fairly cheap and they have a large selection of wide sizes. They were practically what in and were super comfortable. Pic below. I also got me some cute Ellen Degeneres houseshoes for home and the hospital. I’ll be buying again since the new fur baby ate them.
@potofgolden@laurenmicheley Oooo for some reason that reminds me that in late 3rd trimester with DD I got myself a pair of those "one size fits most" anti slip-slippers to wear at the hospital. Sadly I didn't take into account my feet started to slightly swell right at the end of pregnancy (I had 0 swelling up until about a week before she was born and it wasn't really even that noticeable). Anyhow, the slippers were never used. I just got myself a new pair this time in a med/large and they are comfortably loose that if that same swelling occurs I *should* be able to use them this time. Bonus points they're Jack Skellington slippers which I think will be perfect for *potentially* late Oct/early Nov delivery (I kind of 1/2 secretly hope the twins are born on Halloween simply to have a birthday OTHER than Nov - DD is 11/9 & SD is 11/28 - Plus come on, Halloween babies?! ADORBS!)

@lurvleybunchococonuts My original due date was Halloween based off of my last period, but I o'd late so I got pushed to 11/18. I really want a Halloween baby, for no good reason other than I think its cool haha!

@laurenmicheley my feet didn't grow and only swelled up about (3) weeks prior to delivery. The swelling was completely gone as soon as I delivered and I am still comfortably in my size 11 shoes haha!
@laurenmicheley my feed definitely grew a half size with DD. I was an 8.5 before I had her and now I’m a 9. I don’t remember exactly when they grew but I would guestimate around 26-30 weeks. I don’t think they grew too much more after that but swelling definitely set in within the last 3 weeks of pregnancy I think (weeks 39-41)
Know how I said I haven't had any swelling yet? 🙈🤣 got home from work yesterday (work was insane and I was on my feet running around about 95% of the time) and my feet were definitely a bit swollen 😑 that's what I get for opening my big mouth lmao

@lurvleybunchococonuts I’m secretly hoping for a Halloween baby, too! I love Halloween. Also, my kids are OBSESSED with TNBC. It started when we showed it to DS when he was two...I flipped it on assuming I’d have to turn it off because it’s kind of scary, but he literally couldn’t take his eyes off it and wanted to watch it again as soon as it was over. He called it “Punkin King” and knew all the songs lol. He was even Jack for Halloween when he was 3.
@lurvleybunchococonuts@kitkatz1990 0mg my SNL just showed me this outfit tonight. It was paired with some white converse. So cute! I want an October baby too.. preferably a Libra like me! I’ll be 37weeks 1 day on my birthday.,. Which I share with my dad. How cool would it be to have 3 generations share the same bday. 11/12 probably not going to happen.
My belly button didnt pop out with DS but my belly button is basically a slit so I would be really surprised if it popped this time! I did, however, get a very noticeable linea nigra with him that stuck around until about a year after he was born. It drove me crazy and made me so self conscious. I couldn't stand having it after he was born. I thought it made my belly look so gross. I haven't noticed if I've started to get one this time. I wouldn't be surprised. Atleast this time I'm mentally prepared for it!
@laurenmicheley My feet swelled with DS and they definitely grew a tiny bit permanently. The flats that I used to wear before I had him now leave marks on my feet after wearing them and they never did pre-baby. If it were me I wouldn't spend a ton of money on expensive shoes because you just never know what your body is going to do during and after pregnancy!
DS was due 10/29. I'm apparently the only one here who wouldn't want a Halloween baby 😆 it's not that I don't love Halloween because I do! I just never loved the idea of any of my kids sharing a birthday with a holiday. This baby is due 11/16 so I'm hoping they arent born on Halloween or Thanksgiving!
@kitkatz1990 that is so cute that your son was Jack Skellington and your kids love TNBC 😍 @potofgolden that outfit is pretty adorable!

@kitkatz1990 my son loves Nightmare Before Christmas and all things Halloween too! I love the costume! I think I’ve gotten to the point in pregnancy where I just wake up for no reason and lay there without being able to go back to sleep. If this is nature preparing me for a newborn (as my old coworker used to say), I don’t need it. Yesterday my son has climbed into my bed in the middle of the night and I woke up with his feet sticking me in the abdomen and the baby kicking me from the inside. So tired 😓.
My appetite has been so weird! I've always been a big eater at meals, but I get full really easily, or am just not hungry at meals lately, and then I'm totally starving at random times. It feels weird to be snacking so much, and to be in this limbo of never really hungry at the "right" times because of snacking. And if I overeat, I am totally miserable.
