Our sweet bean is so adorable! I think so, anyway That lil' nose! We bought the USB stick they offered with a bunch of pictures on it and the first one on the drive is of his little ding dong with an arrow pointed at it. As if you could miss it!
The tech kept trying to get an image of his right hand which he kept fisted the whole time, except when he reached down to play with his toes. It was so cute.
our fiesty little girl at 20wks anatomy scan. Over an hour and she wouldnt let any images on her profile and hid her nose. Have to go back in 4wks to try again. Her profile and 3d scan look identical to her sister. Another diva to add to the family.
AS this AM.... baby looks good. Just the whole artery issue (see weekly check in). DD went with us b/c daycare is closed and was most pumped about the stickers they gave her at the end Baby brother just wasn't as exciting as she wanted him to be lol
Here are a couple of pics from the anatomy scan last week at 19+1. He was super difficult to get a face or a profile shot of because he was like face first into placenta. 🤷♀️ it did take them over the full hour to get good shots of the heart, first he wouldn't move and then they had me roll on each side to get him to move, but that just resulted in him moving into even worse positions!

@knottie53814985 just so you're aware. This group is wonderful. But we really don't like the random drop ins of people, they contribute nothing to the general group, so we like to get to know who's really gonna be here to support one another. Gotta follow the (simple) rules to play the game. But if it's stressful for you, good luck with your pregnancy!
We had our 20 week anatomy scan on Monday and all looked perfect!! We even got some good shots of the face in 3D and I’ve put together a couple of side-by-sides - looks like babe will be a total mix of the hubs and I
@Pascal86 I know. I was genuinely surprised. It’s wild around here but so fun. I was slightly sad that my daughter won’t have a sister, but hey, one less sex talk I’m doing. 😆
@rachstar18 we are on number 5, our order is girl, boy, boy, boy, boy. 😳 I do have a friend with 5 boys and no daughters- she was REALLY hoping #5 was a boy as well! She's an awesome boy mom!
@rachstar18 my daughter is 14! She was REALLY hoping for a sister. The boys island I were all hoping girl as well- my husband was just SuPER excited and truly did not care one way or another. I grew up with only sisters, and I wanted my daughter to have a sister too, even though they will be 15 years apart!
@rachstar18 I have 1 girl and 2 boys and I find out in 2 weeks what this baby will be. I’m preparing myself for a boy (I love my boys!!) but would reeeeally love to give my daughter a sister. Either way I can’t wait to find out!
I know someone who had oldest was a boy, then 2 girls, and was pregnant again. Her son did NOT want another sister, so they decided if it was a girl not to tell the kids and if it was a boy to tell them. 🤣 I guess they figured he wouldn't be as mad when the baby was there. It was a boy though!
AS Ultrasound at 20w5, baby boy is healthy and totally uncooperative. I did lots of moving around but he was determined to stay where he was comfy. All the organ pictures were normal but they couldn’t get all the heart pictures they like (but were able to see 4 chambers, yay) so we go back in 3 weeks for more pictures. Happy I get to see him again soon! He had his hands up by his face and was kicking up a storm. Just would NOT roll toward the camera.
@modoodles I’m sure she was disappointed. My daughter loves “her boys” and she’s only 3.5 so less opinionated (albeit still very choosy) than your 14 year old I’m sure.
I’m glad to hear so many positive experiences. I’m certainly not mad. I’m excited to have 3 wild boys and my sweet girl.
So nice to see all these beautiful babes. I had my 20 week ultrasound last week. Our little guy is on track and looking healthy. He was moving around so much and practically doing yoga in there. I had some dried apricots before the ultrasound hoping the sugar would get him moving and it certainly worked! He finally settled down at the end and starting sucking his thumb. It was one of the cutest things I've ever seen.
20+3, anatomy scan this morning! Measuring about 21+3. Everything looks great, I think she was asleep at first and then woke up stretching all over the place. So freaking cool.
We had our AS at 20+1 this morning. The results confirmed our Sneak Peak test that had a BOY result! Baby boy was moving a ton, and I was told that I have lots of amniotic fluid and an anterior placenta. Does anyone have experience with that positioning? I tried asking Dr. Google, but it doesn’t say much.
I’m just so happy to have seen 10 fingers and 10 toes, and an adorable nose that looks just like my DH! Baby is 12 oz and measuring exactly 20+1, and he’s long. Maybe he’ll be tall like his daddy!
@angemtn I also have an anterior placenta with this pregnancy. It just makes it a little harder to feel the early movements but otherwise, no big deal! Congrats on a healthy boy!
20 week AS - the sonotech said she would have brought a doctor in if she noticed something to discuss so we won't find out much until our next midwife appt in a month. It was cool to see his heart, to have it confirmed he's a boy, and just seeing him move. Looks like a person is growing in there!

On the DH front, I’m noticing just in the past few days since we found out how many people congratulate my husband on it being a boy. Like, noticeably turn from me to him to express their congratulations on producing offspring with a penis 🙄
@meanjellybean it's so frustrating! I'm soooo excited about a boy since we've never had one anywhere in the family, meanwhile my husband is like whatever I don't care either way, just like he was when he found out our others were girls. Last week some random guy told us that hopefully we were having a boy so my husband would have someone to take to football games. Which makes sense, because girls can't go to football games...
But yes, that makes perfect sense. I’m just a fake avid sports fan because I’m a girl; I definitely only watch because I want to spend time with my DH, who always falls asleep anyways 🤣
I feel a bit silly posting this picture without knowing if anything is wrong because I don’t see the doctor until next week, and the u/s tech didn’t tell us anything. But! We did see the baby bouncing and kicking around, and my husband and I both cried, so that counts for something!
Had out anatomy scan this afternoon. All looked well (it's a boy!!!). There was a small calcification on his heart that is common and not really anything to worry about. I get checked again in 4 weeks.
Everything looked good other than a small spot in baby’s belly they will recheck in 4 weeks. But since my genetic screening was fine they aren’t too concerned!
Had our AS last Monday and it’s a baby girl! She did well in front of the camera and they were able to look and see everything. She’s healthy, so we’re good to go!
