@catem07 - I’m glad you’re heading in now and hope your bleeding’s stopped.
@allie456 - I used this video tutorial to wrap my belly in a ring sling. It really does take pressure off. I’m wishing I had my sling at work today because my discomfort is suddenly worse than ever.
Ugh, I think what I’m dealing with this morning is braxton hicks. I never had it in my pregnancy with DD. This is so completely different than any other discomfort I’ve had, painful and not conducive to be sitting at a desk. I wish I was home on a yoga ball with a heating pad.
Thanks everyone. Waiting for my glucose blood draw now. All is good, heart rate 153. My doctor says it was probably cervical irritation; based on the position of my placenta it's highly unlikely to be a placenta problem.

Anyone dealing with crazy vivid dreams/nightmares. I’ve felt like a zombie the last two days because sleeping at night has been disrupted by nightmares that don’t allow me to fall back asleep!

For sure happening here. On a good night they're just weird. On bad nights I'm waking up scared and half in tears.

I have ALLLL the dreams, good and bad. I normally have pretty vivid/memorable dreams to begin with, but they are definitely increasing in frequency/intensity.
@catem07 So glad it's all good! Bleeding is always scary.
So last night I experienced something new: whenever I was falling asleep, I stopped breathing, like my brain stopped signalling the lungs to inhale and I kept waking up gasping a bit. This went on for about 2 hours and then I fell asleep and it was all ok... It was surely not obstructive sleep apnea because I could sort of feel my breathing simply stopping as I was not in deep sleep, but barely falling asleep. Perhaps related to the position, that I have to lie with my pelvis propped up? It was bad either way. Anyone else had this?
@bender29 Yes to all the vivid dreams recently. Not always bad bit definitely weird.
@pustiulari I tend to start snoring really loudly and wake myself up when I'm on my back. Sometimes it's combined with a stopped- breathing-woke-up-gasping feeling. I've also felt it hard to breathe when my chest isn't fully open and my boobs are essentially weighed down either on their own or by my arms.

I've been having breathing problems that go into my dreams I woke up the other night from a dream where someone was strangling or suffocating me and I woke up having an asthma attack. We're at our other home where we are during the summer, Thanksgiving, and winter break. Tons of dust and cleaning and my asthma and allergies can't handle it.
@pustiulari and @jhysmath that sounds really scary! I've had shortness of breath for sure but nothing like an asthma attack or not being able to breathe at all.
Has anyone ever taken tamiflu? Either before or during pregnancy? Just curious for stories on side effects, I know it can be taken while pregnant. Just trying to decide if it's worth it to me.

@pourmeanothermocktail I did last time I was pregnant, I am not someone Tamiflu works for at all, I actually felt worse taking it, then thinking it was because I was pregnant tried again not pregnant and same thing. It works wonders for DF and DS1 though.
Lurking this Tamiflu question @pourmeanothermocktail because DH just came down with chills and a 102 fever. Debating spraying him with lysol. Hopefully you feel better soon, Tamiflu or not.
@bender29 I am right there with you with the vivid dreams. I woke up so p*ssed at my husband until I realized I was mad over a vivid dream and not a real life event. 😳
@pourmeanothermocktail I've had a lot of luck feeling better with Theraflu which the OB said was safe since it's mostly tylenol. Plus it tastes yummy
I am a person tylenol does almost nothing for. And goal was definitely not just masking symptoms but helping body fight off illness (difference between an anti-viral and more traditional medicine like OTC cold medicine or tylenol).
So far, I would say worth it. 3 of our 4 family members were on it this week. my husband has different insurance and refused to see anyone because high deductible. He still has a relatively frequent nasty cough, is otherwise feeling better, but he's on day 7. My son started tamiflu on day 2 and fever was gone within 12 hours, cough greatly diminished in 2 days, gone by day 6. Daughter and I started ours on our second day, and we're on day 4 now, very little cough left, still working on finishing snot. Fevers just broke last night though. She's got an ear infection from the flu though, so not over that quite yet.
There have been side effects. For my son, he turned into a complete terror. I

Sorry, bump just stopped letting me type there, so had to make a second post.
My son is 3.5, and doesn't nap, so he can be quite a mess when sick, but this was above and beyond. Literally for 3 days was kinda in a constant tantrum over literally everything-threw a fit when he got his way even, like, beyond. I stopped his meds one day early, when it occurred to me his attitude wasn't just from being tired anyone's. It's safe to stop it early, unlike antibiotics. It helped him so much in the first couple days, I could have stopped two days early for sure.
I haven't noticed anything with my daughter.
For me, the side effects have been different every single dose, which is actually kinda nice in that at least nothing was super long lasting. Once was dizziness. Once was headache. Once was just extra irritable (at least I think). Once was insomnia. Tonight I'll take my evening dose with a benadryl to help any potential insomnia.
Still though, worth it. I got sick 3 days after my husband and looks like I'll still recover much faster. Which is important to me as I still haven't been able to even HIRE help for at home yet, even though I'm all broken and it's killing me to get my son to the bus.

My indigestion is back with a vengeance. I don't know what to make of it. It might even just be something I ate, but I need to get it under control so I can eat again. It's at that point where I feel better and then if I eat a meal it flares up and I feel terrible. Going back on the once a day pepcid and once a meal tums and hopefully things will be better.
@pirateduck Try smaller meals, or eating more slowly. I've been eating more slowly and it's helping a lot (DH also needs to do this, we're practicing putting our forks down between bites...)

I was going to start a March symptoms thread, but figured it should wait until the PG is up and running. New(ish) symptom for me, I can tell that my pelvic bones are expanding. Lower back and below just ACHE. Walking is not uncomfortable with my joints stretching. I need to be more diligent with my prenatal yoga.
@pirateduck I'm right there with you for heartburn and indigestion...I have a bedside bottle of tums, purse bottle, and car bottle lol I'm just concerned because I read they can also cause constipation 🤦🏻♀️
To anyone struggling with food-definitely suggest smaller meals, eaten slower and more frequently. Try not to drink during meal (just so there's more space!) Drink a good amount like 15-20 min before, so stomach can drain. And I suggest doing a food diary for a bit to see if you can find any specific trigger. I can't do tomatoes or peppers at all the entire last half of pregnancy.

I caved and asked what to take for heartburn. It isn't as bad as the last pregnancy, but there's no need to keep suffering and getting less sleep. Rx for basically prilosec and I'll hopefully be feeling better in the next few days.
I ordered a maternity belt off amazon which should come tomorrow. I have all my fingers and toes crossed that it will help with the still lingering, pinpoint abdominal pain i've been having for a weeks. I also have an OB appt on thursday so I can chat about it with her. I still think it's muscle/ab related (like a pull or tare) and it just can't heal because it's obviously just getting more and more stretched every day. Im really hoping i don't end up with a terrible diastasis recti issue after being able to avoid it through 2 pregnancies (although, as far as complications go, that's really not the end of the world).
Other than being extremely tired by evening...I have found energy during the day for all the activities with my kids and exercising even. It's probably because the sun is finally shining and temp is up in the 50s for being outside...hello "almost" spring!
@afranzen85 I am with you on the weather change helping a lot with my energy levels! Being pregnant during the winter has been such a drag as far as motivation to get out and walk when it's dark at 4:45, cold, and miserable in the evening. This week is sunshine and in the 50s and 60s here so I'm feeling great!
@peachnectarine My lower body pain turned into a swollen knee on Monday. I was limping all day but the swelling is gone now.
Last night I had major nose bleed while showering. I wasn’t congested. Wasn’t sneezing. I don’t suffer from regular nose bleeds. It just happened. I guess my body just really wanted to get some of the extra blood out. I stopped bleeding after 10 minutes. Pregnancy is amazing.
