  • @psychobutthead I hope things are ok. Haven’t heard from you and I’m hoping it’s because you’ve been busy 💗
  • @mcc-momma I think it's magnesium.  Make sure you have half a banana every day, and that should be enough to prevent the Charlie horse type crazy cramps
  • @ziggymama06 Hahaha that's awesome!

  • @psychobutthead Hope you have a nice weekend and get good news on Monday.
  • Anyone taking unisom and b6 at bedtime? I’m going to be 6weeks tomorrow and the nausea hit me like a train this morning. I’m wondering if I should start the unisom and b6 combo. I did it with my first, but that was 4 years ago and I don’t remember if it helped and/or any other side effects.

  • Anyone else already needing to use the rubber band trick on their pants? Not even 7 weeks and the bump is popping after meals.
  • @cornichonmam I’m having all of the same symptoms and my nausea is getting worse everyday, I’m 6w5d. What are acupressure bands? I’ve never heard of those.
  • Nausea etc. Is getting worse for me too, but TBT, not sure how much is baby and how much is stomach bug. 🤢

  • Hi ladies! Hope your having a merry Christmas! I’m 6 weeks today! So far sore boobs, extremely tired in the afternoon, Nausea throughout the day. I’ve also noticed I really dislike meat.. the smell alone is terrible. I’ve been eating a lot of eggs, yogurt, and black bean burger patties haha. Oh ya and I can smell EVERYTHING! Perfume or cologne are just yuck.
  • @tara4910 I take unisom and B6 at bedtime! It helps! It is what is in diclegis, which is FDA approved. You'll have to google the correct dose.
@cornichonmam thanks for the tips! Do you have the ones @BusinessWife put the link up for?
I'm having nausea, fatigue, dizziness and light headedness. I feel like my body is all out of sorts half the day. Today my hearing and vision were a little off and I felt like I might pass out a few times.
My only other symptom is my super sensitive teeth all of the sudden!
  • Anyone else take promethazine for nausea? This is what my OB called in for me. It makes me SO tired and I can only take it at night! It does help me function for the first hour or so after waking up but then it wears off and the nausea is so intense. I can’t take it in the day because i have to keep up with my other boys. Does anyone else take something that does NOT make you more tired than you already are?? 🙏🏻
Baby Boy 3 is on the way!
    Due 1/21/17
  • @wife-and-mommy thanks! I’m going to try it this week.
@jovannad23 I had serious meat aversions with my first! Couldn’t go anywhere near the meat aisle at the store and refused to let my husband eat it in the house. Luckily it passed around 11 weeks.

  • @blackgirlmagic I've had insomnia on and off. It was more frequent in weeks 3 and 4, but I woke up to pee last night and then I was extremely sore up top and couldn't get comfortable or sleepy again. I tossed and turned a bunch and have been really dragging today because of it. Thankfully, I'm on break, so I got to sleep in today, but I still woke up feeling like I had a hangover. I'm so sorry you're having trouble sleeping tonight and I hope your doctor is able to help. I haven't taken anything for it, but I do sometimes just get out of the bed and do a calming activity for a while until my body will finally let me sleep. Not sure if that will help you, but I prefer it to lying there wide awake for hours. Hope you get some rest soon!

  • thanks @faith_2911. I’d rather not have to take something for this, but I don’t know how much longer I can take this lack of sleep. My eyes tell it all. I’m going to have to find a calming activity to do. I’m not into reading books, they typically put me to sleep. So maybe I can find a book I’m interested in and start that.

  • @wife-and-mommy Yes I use the seabands, you don't need to get the pregnancy ones they are no different from the travel bands. I find that they take the edge off so I can function a bit better. My MS isn't that bad yet but last time it was weeks 12-16 it was intense and they helped a lot then.
  • Is a low grade fever normal? I've had a temp between 100.1 and 100.4 for 3 days. I feel terrible, like I'm really hungover.
  • @blackgirlmagic I’ve had insomnia since before I had a positive test this pregnancy. With my first I was limited to third trimester insomnia. I took a sleep aid that was Walmart brand to help with that pregnancy. It was similar to a benedryl. I haven’t yet because this starts at around 2-3ish and that’s tooo late to take something. I’m afraid I won’t wake up when I need to.

  • @sarah0985 I feel like once I speak with my doctor I would take something at like 9:30 and hope that it kicks in and that I don’t wake up in the middle of the night. I can’t even fall asleep. My husband goes through phases of insomnia and I told him I don’t know how he does it. But it can also function off of little sleep.

  • @jwhite3116 I read in one of my books if you have a fever of 100.4 you should call your doctor.  Hope you feel better.

  • @blackgirlmagic Unless I happen to be reading a highly engaging novel at the time, my go-to activity is usually practicing in a calligraphy book my sister got me. But hopefully your doctor can give you something to take that's safe for baby so you can get some sleep.

  • scgirl6113  I take Promethazine at night. I absolutely cannot take it during the day because it knocks me right out. I started taking it because I was waking up in the middle of the night super sick. Since I can't take it during the day, I called the nurse line and they gave me Zofran to take during the day. My MS is the worst first thing in the morning, midday, and then evening. I guess you can say I really only have a 2 hour reprieve during the day. It is no fun at all but also reassuring between appointments that all should be well!
  • Feeling light to moderate cramps. (I think this is normal, but of course I can’t stop thinking about it.) Boobs are sore, especially my nipples...good lord!

  • I've been getting face flushes already which didn't start until later with my daughter. I hate them.  Basically my face flushes all the sudden and people around me think I'm embarrassed about something. Which then embarrasses me 🤦

  • @ziggymama06 Ugh. I’m so jealous. I am forever suffering from painful cystic acne. Would kill for only the occasional blemish here and there. Although, I do feel like it's calmed down a bit this pregnancy. When I was pregnant with DS, it was literally the worst it's ever been, and I would even get random breakouts under my armpit. But only my left one. What even is that!?  :D
  • @ziggymama06 Some brands of convenience store tea also have ginger in them! which is great if you need to keep in on the DL at work! Or a ginger smoothie!
  • @roo_baby thanks for the tip! DH is at the store now and I asked him to pick me up some jolly ranchers.
  • I’m so incredibly tired all the time and have an intense craving for grapefruit and any and all citrus fruit. That’s a first. Same food aversions as previous pregnancies (I gag thinking about chicken salad or hummus). I also have to take a break while getting ready in the morning because I start getting light-headed. First trimester is rough!
  • @babytimeagain I’ve been craving grapefruit too! I also keep thinking I smell grapefruit, which makes me want it even more. Luckily it’s a craving I don’t feel bad indulging.
