Luckily I have had no nausea or food aversions yet. I'm a little bloated but honestly I get that a lot, that's just my life. One weird thing is my vision is wonky. I've had to zoom my computer screen 150%. I googled it and apparently some pregnant women experience blurry vision due to fluid retention in the corneas, who knew?
Typical symptoms for PIO shots. 5 more weeks of those thank G-d. Nausea has started, some food aversions. My Mom ate an avocado/mushroom salad in front of me and I almost lost it. Tired and not as focused as I'd like.
@bluguitarhannah solidarity sister... My injection sites are sooooo swollen and painful this time! I swear they weren't this bad with DD. I saw something that said vibration around the injection site helps with the initial pain of the prick... totally used my vibrator (just above the injection site) this morning b/c even rubbing the alcohol prep pad hurt
@pocketrose Distraction is the best offense against anxiety. Are there any fun activities in your area you can do during the day? Also my anxiety is always worst at night but I swear by an app called SAM (it's free). It has calming activies specifically designed for anxiety. It's great and I used it to get through the worst period of my life.

@dancingtreepose my vision has been blurry too! I walked into a classroom and couldn’t even see the student I was looking for because everything was suddenly blurry. What an odd symptom.
@dancingtreepose, @surlyjaneausten; I was wondering about blurry vision! Glad to know that I'm not the only one. I also have really sore boobs, bloating, and some cramping, but this vision thing is by far the one that weirds me out the most. Hopefully it goes away soon!
TMI, but every time I’m in front of a mirror I whip out a boob and try to decide if my nipples look different. Maybe? I haven’t had much pain in that area, just some occasional tenderness, and some part of me really wants to see a visual change, darkening, veinyness, something. 🤷♀️
@rachelredhead I was doing that too and the last couple of days have seen some changes, H and I find it hilarious (H also is quite pleased as it’s an increase in specific size)
@coffeeandcookies84 thank you for checking in. Still pregnant. I had a wretching food aversion throwing out some vegan beef last night. Slight breast pain and today I vomited in an Indian buffet parking lot which I think was just Pregnancy exacerbated reflux.
i don’t feel like my symptoms are strong and it worries me because I’ve had a few losses.
Today is the day of my expected period so I’m not really far along enough to have strong symptoms I guess. You’d think I’d know better but I’m pretty pessimistic.
I’m trying to not tell family because I’ve had to call them back and talk about a loss multiple times.
i swear this doesn’t get easier.

I had my oldest son’s birthday party today, and am next level exhausted. Just briefly fell asleep on the couch mid opening presents. Good thing my inlaws know I’m getting over a cold or: cover blown 😂

Either I ate too much pizza at the wedding reception we went to last night, or now I have a new symptom of feeling like I’m 1 burp away from a disaster lol. I thought it was just from last night but it has continued into the morning. Who knows? I’m welcoming anything to ease my mind before the first US
Logically I know that most symptoms don’t start showing up until week 6, and they come and go, but I’m starting to get anxious that nothing’s going on. 1st tri is such a mind game until that first ultrasound

I haven’t really had much nausea. But I do get queasy in the car, which is totally new. I take the light rail to work and I haven’t had trouble with that yet but I’m now anxious that I’m going to puke on the rail at some point. Ugh.
@coffeeandcookies84 I know that you’re feeling. I think many of us have the same fear and it has been the case on the other two BMBs I was on. I vaguely remember that I had very few symptoms with my son as compared to my daughter so every pregnancy is different. It will be nice to have some assurances! Best of luck.
I am only 4 weeks 1 day (I found got BFP at 3 weeks 2 days) and of course I feel nothing yet. It is usually 6 weeks that I start to begin to feel anything (might feel tired right before that).
I am tired but to me it is just tired from grad school and toddler. Not that devastating, want to cry tired.

But lack of morning sickness worries me a bit, even though I’d be so happy to bypass that nuisance!
I'm just over 6 weeks and due July 3 🙂 So far I've been having so so so much gas and the burping is just awful! My boobs are tender on and off but were more so during week 4/5 than now. I am also waking at 4 am for days now! I've no trouble falling asleep, am ready for bed at 9 most days, but I can't stay asleep. This will be our first after two years of trying and one early miscarriage so I'm kinda nervous and still a little disbelieving of it all. 🤞

It's weird but you actually count the weeks from the start of your last period, not when you ovulated. That means we aren't really pregnant weeks 1 and 2. For example, I'm considered 5 weeks pregnant, even though I conceived 3 weeks ago. I'm not sure why we do it this way And, same with all the symptoms! I'm glad I don't have morning sickness yet, maybe we'll get lucky and not have to experience it
@schlegs_x_5 and @coffeeandcookies84 same with the freezing! The weather forecast this week is looking positively bitter in my neck of the woods, so I'm going to pull out all my big sweaters and layer up. I have an electric heating pad that I cannot find anywhere
yeah yeah I calculate from first day of last period (9/28) I’m 6 weeks and 2 days but when I calculate from the day I think I ovulated (10/20) I’m only 5 weeks and 1 day! I’m sure we’ll dial in the right time when I go for the ultrasound next week.
I bought one of those extra fluffy/shaggy pullovers at Costco yesterday to stay warm! My husband absolutely hates it, but it’s the most comfy thing ever.
All I can smell is cigarette smoke and I can't tell if it's that the new-ish part time warehouse guy really smells that strongly or if it's pregnancy nose. Either way... disgusting and I wish he'd just go away and do his work in the warehouse.

same with the boobs. Our pedi office has a LC that rounds and she came in the morning my milk came in and was like, "whoa! Your milk definitely came in overnight!" Straight up porn star boobs
I’m only 4+1 today, and I’m having symptoms a lot earlier than last time... Crazy weird vivid dreams; peeing & waking @4am; super cold; everything smells like death; and... sorry DH, so much gas. My first beta today was 393, so hoping it is just one healthy baby. 🤞🏻
I am struggling to stay awake at my desk today. I slept a full nights rest, but holy crap am I tired. I am so happy tonight is DH's turn to put our son to bed so I can go to sleep early tonight.
the struggle to stay awake is real today!! i'm sleeping through the night thankfully but i wake up unrefreshed. crazy dreams too! also wondering how in the world im going to sleep once i cant on my stomach anymore because i can never get comfortable on my sides.
@stlbuckeye132 yeah, we’ve been together 12+ years and married 10+, so MH finds it much more amusing than I do! We have a ‘no-fart outside the bathroom rule’ (which I instituted bc he’s a gassy mofo); he said I get a preggo pass.
Also the pregnancy brain has already started. I'm slipping over my words and very forgetful the last couple of days. This morning I was ready DS and story and I said "1 kitten is having a milk of bowl" and DH asked me where my phone was and I said "it's in the table on your book". This is going to be a rough 9 months if this continues. 😂🤦♀️
