I have my follow up consult today in 3 hours. So nervous to see what he is going to recommend for this last round. I don't think we will do another one if this one isn't successful. I'm going in there armed with information regarding protocols and ideas to improve my chance for quality embryo's vs. quantity. I'll let everyone know what comes of it.
I can't do IUI due to tied tubes, so, unfortunately, my only options are FET's or Fresh Transfers. I am going to ask about both this round and hope that maybe a Fresh will give me a secondary option for a transfer with one retrieval round (so long as I can get near the number eggs I did last time). I still had 15 growing at day 3 last time, so If I get that again and can use 2-3 for a fresh transfer, then maybe still end up with 5-6 blasts, that would be great!!

@ladyp0tter, have they mentioned anything to you about doing a mock transfer (ERA) to make sure they're putting the embryo in at the right time. I did a mock transfer in July and found out they were putting my embryos in 1 day early. I needed 6 days of progesterone instead of the normal 5. I would defintely ask about it if you're down to your last embryo.
My consult went great. RE was very receptive to all my concerns. We talked through all my research!! He was tired by the end! LOL...
We will be doing less stim meds (gonal F and menopur) to focus on quality this time and in hopes to avoid a lupron trigger (try to use ovidrel) so that we can attempt both a fresh transfer and then a freeze of any remaining eggs for PGS testing. We talked about IF needed and the fresh doesn't work, that we would do an ERA before using any of the hopefully remaining embryo's that made it to freeze and PGS tested normal. I'm praying for at least 1-2 this time rather than NONE!!
I will be doing HGH along with the stims for a week leading up to ER in hopes to improve the quality of the eggs. I think he said 150 Gonal-F and like 75 of menopur. Last time I was 225 for both.
We looked at my progesterone at the time of my last ER and it was 1.6 which he said they usually like to see 1.5 or less for a fresh, so if we don't get as many eggs this time (which is our hope so not to worry about OHSS and using Lupron), then it should be less than 1.5 this time and allow for the fresh transfer. We would just pick 2 of the best-looking embryos and hope for the best (although last time, my best-looking embryo ended up with the worst chromosomal issues!!! figures).
