Re: Newbie Intros w/o 9/8
Ages (you and SO): 27 & 29 (he’s turning 30 next month)
How many months have you been TTC?: 4
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: PNV, working on charting CM & temping. Just ordered a BBT & it’ll be here Tuesday!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): This is our first time TTC. I’ve been waiting for this season of life since I was like 19, so I’m struggling with patience! Haha. We have four pets: Two dogs/two cats. We’re both teachers, and getting back into the swing of the school year. I’m a MS choir director & he’s a JH band director. I’m looking forward to getting to know the people here!
Welcome @singing_koala thanks for jumping right in there!!!
Ages (you and SO): 32/35
How many months have you been TTC?: not preventing for a few months, but doing a lot of pulling out as we weren’t certain this was the right time. Last month didn’t pull out during fertile window but not KU. This will be the first month really trying.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: nothing too involved just yet. Just trying to get the BD in at the right time, may try more in the future.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): SO and I have been together about 4 years. We’ve been engaged for the past year and a half but I’m awful at planning and don’t want to spend the money on a big wedding so we’ll likely end up eloping. I have an 8 year old daughter from a previous relationship. She’s made a lot of comments about wanting a sibling over the past few years so I hope she’ll be happy if I do get KU. Also hoping she’ll be into helping, lol. SO has two daughters from a previous relationship, they are 16 and 13 and I couldn’t have gotten luckier in that department. As far as hobbies I’d say yoga, I was doing like an hour+ a day but fell off and am now trying to get back into it. I’m sure there’s a lot I’m missing but I’m tired of typing about myself, lol
FX for your SAH days 😊
@kikigreat0 sounds like y’all have some really sweet kids that are going to love all over a potential sibling one day! FX for you and I hope your stay here is short.
@kikigreat0 welcome!! Dh and I got married at a courthouse and it was so nice because we didn't have all the hustle and bustle of a big wedding and could really just focus on us. But big weddings are fun too though!! I'm sure whatever you choose to do will be lovely

How many months have you been TTC?: This is cycle 1.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: OPKs, checking CM. I tried temping to kinda learn my cycle but it was an epic fail. At least it wasn't during a cycle where it mattered?
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): My husband travels for work and is gone basically every other week and sometimes more often than that. I'm a SAHM to 2 kids. Our son is 2 and our daughter is 1. We would ideally like to have baby 3 soonish since the first two are so close in age. It took 2 years to have our first so I know there is no planning these things really. I never know what to put on these GTKY things but if anyone wants to know anything I'm an open book.

@BusinessWife - hahaha! Things are great! How are youuu? Lol - In fact, I know several Mike's from Canada, and they all love hockey!! 😂😂
We are from Winnipeg, which is just a little north of North Dakota! (Perhaps fans of The Office will know it as Michael Scott's international business trip destination!)

About yourself: I work full time, have two dogs, and two LOs. We relocated from the east coast to Utah earlier this year, which is a big change. I find that I’m a really “boring” person. I mainly just work and come home, take care of house stuff, and pass out. We do like water sports (boating/wakeboarding) during the summer... and I think I’m going to have to start liking winter sports if I’m going to survive here 😬
