Re: Introduce Yourself Here!
Hi everybody! I’m super late to introduce myself but here I am! I’m Jessie, originally a Jersey girl but living in VA for the last 10 years. Which basically means I use y’all very regularly but when I get excited you can absolutely hear the ‘jersey’ in my voice.
My EDD is March 26, I had my first dr appt on the 8th and we got to hear the heartbeat and everything which was completely indescribable. This is the first pregnancy for my husband and I, and we are so over the moon. I’m a former elementary teacher, currently enjoying being housewife and my husband is a cyber security analyst. We have the sweetest little 2 year old maltipoo named Indy, who is basically a little person and will have her world rocked when the little babe comes.
I’m so excited to be here and get to know everyone!
March 31st according to LMP- first doctor appointment 3 days from now!

This is my first pregnancy after being told that I have PCOS 2 years ago and may have trouble conceiving. I went through months of menstrual complications after getting off of birth control and was just trying to get my cycle to normalize using hormones. It took 11 months of sometimes not trying/sometimes not preventing before receiving a positive test. I had to go to the ER due to bleeding less than a week after finding out I was pregnant and discovered that I had a subchorionic bleed, which should hopefully heal on its own and work itself out.
My husband and I have been married for almost 6 years. We have a 4 year old son who has Down syndrome and is an incredible big brother and best friend to his 2 year old sister, two German Shepherds and a cat.
This is my fourth pregnancy, I miscarried this past March. After that, we decided to hold off on announcing until after my first tri screening which is coming up on 8/26. Our families know—mostly because I am super close to mine and couldn’t imagine not telling them.
My husband is in the navy and I am a criminal defense paralegal. We have a 2.5 year old dog that is our LIFE! I am obsessed with all things true crime, and also enjoy reading, cooking, and working out!
My husband and I have been trying for a baby for a while now and had a MC at 8 weeks back in the spring. It was a really tough time. We are cautiously optimistic this time around and with each passing day I find myself thinking maybe this one will be the one!
I am a receptionist at a dental office and my husband is a truck and transport mechanic. We own a home with our dog and 2 cats. We can't wait to welcome our little bundle to the world!
My husband and I are 23 and married- and were not expecting this little bundle of surprise! Couldn’t be more happy though as the weeks continue to go by!
We have 2 dogs, Oakley and Sedona and on our free time love to watch scary movies (mostly me.. lol) and stay out of our Phoenix heat! 🤣
- EDD March 28
- How you found out: I was trying to make my cycle come early before my hubby came home (he works out of state) so I took a test... much to my surprise, it was positive!
- Stay at home mom

- Found out at our first dating ultrasound that I am pregnant with twins, and we are beyond excited!

My name is Christa. I'm an 33, an ECE, I live in Toronto ON and I'm pregnant with my first.
I found out about a week after missed period via pregnancy test but was pretty sure before testing due to some signs and symptoms. Also curious to see what I'm measuring at because sometimes my cycles can be as long as 38 days and so by the time I found out I was pregnant I was said to be 6weeks (but this is based on a typical 28 day cycle right??) Thinking it is accurate though because if I'm honest I was having syptoms for about 3 weeks before testing. My EDD as far as I calculate is Mar 22 but haven't had an ultrasound yet. I'm 10 weeks and 2 days today and super excited to have finally scheduled my first ultrasound (done at 12 weeks?). It's lovely to see all of your stories and connect to other Moms from all over.
Due March 24th, 2020! Im 29 years young. 😅 My husband and I have two active boys ages 9 & 2. I found out at the end of June that we would be expecting our 3rd bundle of joy! Hobbies include binge watching trashy TV shows after my kids go to bed, and snacking on all the junk I don’t let them eat. 🤣 We have a yellow lab that is 3 years old. He’s my husbands best friend.... mine not so much. I’m a bit of a clean freak and dog hair is my worst enemy!
My first two pregnancies were very easy. No morning sickness. Just sleepiness! This one is a little different. Still no morning sickness, but I do have days were my stomach feels like it’s turning. Also, my exhaustion is on ANOTHER level. 😵 Probably because I’m chasing around a 2 year old all day. Can’t wait to meet this new babe of ours!
EDD (Estimated Due Date) - 3/12, currently 12wks
- How you found out - I was late so we decided to take a test. We also recorded our reactions to the positive test. It was very emotional and pretty much 5 minutes of me saying “Oh my God!” LOL We were planning on trying next year but God had other plans!
- Hobbies, Job, Etc. - hobbies currently include reading and obsessing about my little nugget 😁 (this is our first)
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Fur-babies - I have two fur-babies one of which is VERY attached to me and super jealous when I show kids attention. We are going to try to work with him on this. Wish me luck! My husband and I have been married 9 years and constantly harassed by family asking when we were going to start having babies. We announced last week and everyone is super excited and supportive.
- Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 - I’m originally from Philadelphia so I’m a HUGE Eagles fan! 🦅 We just returned from our baby-moon in Bali. It was wonderful and very relaxing but the flight was killer on my back!
My due date is March 11. This is my first child. I still don’t feel connected to the baby yet, but hope I will soon. I’m thrilled the first trimester is over.
We’re announcing to all our parents tomorrow!
She was a huge surprise for me and my husband. We were told we’d have a hard time conceiving on our own and might have to start medication to induce ovulation, which we decided to wait on because we were about to move. Right away in the new house, I started having some early pregnancy symptoms, took a test, and surprise!!
It was pretty rough at the beginning, throwing up multiple times a day, but am starting to feel so much better. I have two step daughters, but this is my first pregnancy. We live in Minnesota. Husband, girls, dog and I all can’t wait for the baby to join us in March!!
Will know sex of the baby by end of the month and very excited. Literally everyone, even the nurses and doctors, have called the baby a "he" without thinking about it, so I'm interested to see if they are all right, lol!
Congrats! Everyone told me I was having a girl and they were right
