Hi all, I am a STM living in Virginia with my H and 16 month old DS. I was in the May18 BMB. I got an unconvincing BFP at 9dpo which darkened nicely by 10dpo. My EDD is 5/14 but I was over a week late with my DS so I am guessing this will be the same. I am a private hired RN nurse manager for a family here in the town we live. We are currently going through some big changes as my H just switched from a 10 year career to start law school.

I'm excited to get to know everyone!
I have one DS who will be 3 in Nov, and I was very active in the N16 BMB and made some wonderful friends there who I still talk to nearly every day. I live in rural NH with MH, DS, and our 6 month old floppy goldendoodle named Winnie (after Winnie the Pooh). I am an engineering manager at an industrial manufacturing company. Hoping this is the one, and I'll get to stick around and get to know you all over the next 9+ months. Happy and healthy 9 to all of you!
ETA I'm coming over from TTGP and hoping to see many more grads come over here soon!

- EDD (Estimated Due Date): May 7. 2020 (based on LMP - will confirm with my OB once I get my beta results)
- How you found out: On Friday, 8/30 I was home from work preparing for my birthday on Sept. 1st. Between chores around the house, I sat down to eat a bagel w/cream cheese. Halfway through, I had to throw it out because it tasted just awful. I didn't pay it any mind, though, and kept cleaning. Decided to POAS as I cleaned upstairs, and noticed the two pink lines when I walked past the bathroom. After months of BFNs, I was not expecting it to be positive. I had to wait a couple of hours before my DH got home from work so I could tell him.
- Hobbies, Job, Etc.: Besides work, I enjoy running (have completed 8 half marathons, several various 10Ks/5Ks, and a 200 mile relay), reading, yoga, and we have a custom antique tavern sign business on Etsy (also on FB & IG). We're running a special line of Halloween/spooky signs right now, and I've completed the following designs: A Clockwork Orange, Night of the Living Dead, Beetlejuice, and It/Pennywise.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: I met my DH in November 2012, engaged Sept. 2015, and married April 2016. No kids yet, but we have four doggos: Fenway Bark (8 yr old pitt/lab mix), Copper Tod (4 yr old black lab/bullmastiff mix), Emma (6 yr old English bullmastiff), and Wicket (7 yr old german shepherd/collie/keeshond mix). All rescues, all adorbs. I can post pics if you want, lol.
Due with baby #2: Feb 2022
I started POAS early. They were negative on 8 & 9dpo. I took one in the evening on 10dpo that I really wasn't sure about. Then 11dpo got my super faint positive. This morning at 12 dpo, just a tiny bit darker. My mantra this pregnancy is "Today I am pregnant". I really am trying to have a different mindset this time around, no matter what the outcome.
DH works as a Supervisor at Costco and I am a Graphic Designer. We have 1 furbaby, a blue point siamese cat. We did have a coonhound, but sadly had to re-home him after having him for 2 years. He is with a wonderful owner now and gets so much love and attention as well as a little buddy.
I'm excited to get to know you all!
- BFP: 3/10/16 — Baby Girl born 11/20/16
TTC#2 April 2019@rachelg777 That sounds tough. Fingers crossed for you that all will be well!
I’m a STM who participated in the July 2018 BMB. I’m still in touch with many members of that board through a FB group we created last summer and those women have been a huge support! Grateful for the community that can get created here. My EDD is May 12th and I found out at 11 DPO. I live in the DC metro area with my H and DD. I work in education and I love to read, run (although haven't done much after DD...), and spend time outside. I’m definitely enjoying the fall-like weather we’ve been having!
~My EDD is May 1.
~I just felt pregnant and took a cheapie test before work. I got a faint line, so I bought a FRER after my shift, and here I am.
~I shop and deliver groceries for people as a job, and I'm a voracious reader.
~I have a teenage stepson and a husband
~This is my rainbow baby, so while I'm excited, I'm also cautious in expressing my excitement and nervous.
I’m 41 and have 2 DD (7, 4) from a previous marriage. I have been with my SO for over a year.
I’m a personal trainer certified in training Prenatal women, let me know if you need any advice on exercise during your pregnancy! I’m very excited to get to know all of you!
I have a great husband, and two daughters, 1 and 3 - both born early June, so if this one sticks they’ll all be just about 2 years apart. We also have a very nice German Shepherd husky mix.
I work full-time as a business consultant, and like to run a lot, trying to relearn piano, and do some arts/crafts when I have any free time.
This baby is our rainbow...just hoping for a healthy, happy sibling for our daughter.
Also hoping third times times a charm for NOT getting HG 😂

TTC#2 April 2019Hi Everyone! This is my 1st time being pregnant and couldn't be more excited and nervous! I am a Secretary for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. My Husband is a Lieutenant for the same agency.
- My EDD so far is May 5th - which super exciting to me since we are huge star wars fans so "revenge of the fifth"
- I found out on Sunday August 25th (Super early) and of course my husband had just left for work so I had to wait 8 hours to tell him! He came home to 7 pregnancy tests (wanted to make sure lol) with a "Future Jedi" onesie I had been saving. He was so happy and we have been super excited.
- My Hobbies are crafting, gardening, plants & flowers (huge plant mom), fishing, boating, pretty much anything to do with the outdoors. And of course we love star wars EVERYTHING
- My husband and I got married on May 4th ("May the 4th be with you" - wasn't joking about star wars). we don't have any children. We do have 2 dogs: both Labradors names Reggie & Riley | and 2 cats: Felix & Charlie.
- During this exciting time for us we are also in the process of building a home....so please keep my husband in your prayers lol
My EDD is May 3rd.
I got my BFP on Aug 24th. I had been temping and this month was the best looking chart I've ever had so I tested and here we are.
I'm a stay at home mom to my 3 year old son but today is his first day of preschool so I'm kind of a wreck worrying about him.
My husband and I have been married for six years and live on Long Island, NY but I'm originally from PA.
Missed my period, peed on a stick and kept it to myself for 2 days because I had a mini meltdown. Hubs is excited. He didn’t think we would have another because of my HG.
After I had DS I became a SAHM so I’m happy I get to spend time with them. I would love fur babies but right now, 2 kids are enough for me.
Looking forward to getting to know all of you.
I found out at 9 dpo (8/26) and I was put on progesterone supplements.
I am a transition newborn nurse in L&D.
I have an ultrasound yesterday at 4w1d and they couldn’t see anything. My HCG level was checked and it was 289. I go back tomorrow for a repeat HCG check.
congrats ladies! I can’t wait to get to know everyone!
EDD (Estimated Due Date): May 9th
- How you found out: took a FRER 11dpo after multiple BFNs on cheapies... got a BFP
- Hobbies, Job, Etc.: student nurse, previously vet tech and worked in pet insurance
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: DH, 3 year old DS, Yorkie-Lhasa mix, and an orange long haired cat at home.
STM here due May 6th.
Had one night of where in the heat of the moment there was no pulling out. I thought about getting plan B since we didn't plan on TTC for a few more months but figured the chances were low. Here we are.
I'm a teacher and just got back from mat leave 3 weeks ago. Going to be a fun conversation with my boss that I won't make it the full school year lol
We have an almost 11 month old baby girl, nursing at home and pumping at work so we'll see how that will go!
This is my first pregnancy and I'm both overjoyed and terrified. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost a year and on August 31st (after a negative pregnancy test the weekend before) I took another one before having a glass of wine that night and figured it would be negative again. Only it wasn't.
I stood there shaking and in tears before frantically waking my husband up to give him the news.
I'm thinking I'll be due beginning of May or late April 2020 but have my first Dr. Appointment tomorrow to confirm.
I work with my family in our construction company. My job is fairly high stress (I manage projects from the office) but I've been finding that the job I used to be super passionate about and 100% focused on, is taking a back seat to constantly being SO tired, and pregnancy brain blocking any sort of productivity after about 10am, haha!
I live in Vancouver BC and am so excited to have a community to turn to as we're only telling my parents and 2 close friends.
Being pregnant is all I think about, but I find myself worrying more and more that something could go wrong.
Trying to stay positive and keep my body and mind healthy for my 6 week sweet pea sized nugget.
Congratulations to all you expecting mama's out there ♡
I’m Elise, mom to almost 6 yr old identical twin boys and a 3.5 yr old girl! We’re from Az and I’m a stay at home mom, but have a small cake business on the side when I have time 😂
ETA: my h and I are high school sweethearts, married almost 8 years and together for 13!
- EDD (Estimated Due Date): May 4th according to my LMP. Star Wars baby! My h is a huge Star Wars fan so that’s cool.
- How you found out: my h and I decided to start trying for number 4 last month and I took a test two weeks ago today got a BFP! We’re excited for a fourth baby! But also nervous about adding to our already chaotic house 😂 we have two dogs as well.
I was mostly a lurker on my NOV 13 board and was fairly active on FEB16 board and am still good friends with a handful of ladies from there. Excited to be back and get to know you ladies!
I got my BFP after over a year of trying, and three years off BCP. Due 5/14, have my first appointment on Sunday. I have two dogs and a three year old.
- How you found out : About 15 DPO. I wasn't planning on testing until about 21 DPO, but decided to test on 15 DPO because I was supposed to go for drinks with DH. After a very clear BFP that appeared immediately after putting the test down, I realized I might really be pregnant.
- Hobbies, Job, Etc.: Early Childhood teacher
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: 1 hubby , 1 cat
- Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 35+ here
How I Found Out: Missed period but I had an idea because I napped every afternoon for a week straight beforehand.
Hobbies, Job, Etc: I’m a SAHM. DS1 is currently in remission for Leukemia but has another 2 years of treatment so most of my time revolves around the kids,
Spouse, Kids, Furbabies: We’ve been married 8 years. Two boys ages 6 and 4. Originally a member of Nov 15 board. 2 cats and a dog.
I am not sure when my due date is. My period seemed a bit off after the MC and the distance between periods was only 23 days (which is abnormal for me).
I am doctor shopping for a new doctor. The one I had before is at a nearby hospital that is apparently no longer doing maternal care next year. I also wasn't super excited about how late things were and how complicated it seemed to be (going to another location for an ultrasound-- not having one until after 12 weeks etc).
I am so nervous about something happening again that I am probably going to wait until Thanksgiving or Christmas before telling anyone else (other than hubs)

My husband and I were trying for baby #3 so I was peeing on all the sticks lol I wasn't having any symptoms so I took like 10 tests just to be sure and still wasn't convinced until my doctors appointment yesterday lol I'm guessing it will all hit in the next few days.
I work at a grain elevator and feed mill in IL so we are gearing up for harvest and I'm not looking forward to being sick and working 60+hr weeks.
This is my first time on the Bump and I'm so excited to get you know all you ladies!
- EDD - 5/14/20
- How you found out - my temp spiked this morning so I took a test, 3 different brands actually lol.
- Hobbies, Job, Etc. I'm a scheduler for the radiology department at the hospital and a huge crafter and baker. I love doing yoga, walking and reading.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies - DH and I have been married for almost 6 years, together 10. We have a DS who is 4 and 2 crazy cats.
- Anything you’d like us to know - this is our 3rd pregnancy since having DS, one mc and one cp, so like everyone else that's ever suffered through a loss, we're cautiously optimistic. I have been participating on the ttcal board for quite a while and intro'd and started participating on ttgp (ttcal and if threads) just recently. DH and I have tried for this pregnancy for almost 2 years, we just started seeing an RE and didn't start treatment yet, so this was unexpected, but oh so wanted!
Eta put edd in wrong *facepalm*

Shut up @splashmountain! Omg this makes me so happy!! Congratulations!
- How you found out: Was sooo tired for the days up to finding out. Period was one day late, so took one to rule it out. Really did think it was just my allergies bogging me down, lol.
- Hobbies, Job, Etc: I am a nurse in Ontario Canada. An RPN but I believe they are LPNs in the US. I am also currently completing my Bachelors Degree. Just started my 4th yr. Will finish my last placement early-mid April, 😳
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: FTM. Married for 5years together 11yr. One, almost senior dog. He’ll be 7 in a couple weeks. He’s a lovely, fluffy, giant, gentle soul.
- Anything you’d like us to know 🙂: My 33rd Bday in on the 9th.
EDD: Didn’t track ovulation because we were out of town but based on LMP, I’m due May 11th.
How you found out: So last weekend I had planned a pretty extensive bachelorette party for a friend. My husband kept joking that I should take a test beforehand just to be sure and, after 7 unsuccessful cycles, I figured there was no chance (especially since I hadn’t tracked this cycle!). Partied all night and then this week I was absolutely exhausted so after my period didn’t start on Wednesday like it should have, I decided to take a test. And now here I am!
Hobbies, job, etc: I work as a meat inspector, so I’m reallllly hoping I don’t have bad morning sickness. As for hobbies, my two main ones are dog sports and crafting. We also do a lot of outdoor things.
Spouse, kids, fur babies: FTM. My husband and I have been together for almost 10 years and married for one. We have two dogs, a bearded dragon, and 6 chickens.
- How you found out: Took a test at 9dpo. It was so faint but the line was there!
- Hobbies, Job, Etc: PhD student and nurse.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: Married for a little over a year. This will be our first.
- Anything you’d like us to know 🙂: We've been looking for a house and now that process will likely accelerate to make room for baby!
I'm a high school band and choir director in northern CA. H and I have been married for 8 years and have one daughter who will be 2 in October, plus two cats. We've been trying for baby #2 for a few months and (**TW**) I had a very early loss last cycle, so I feel incredibly lucky to have gotten pregnant again so quickly. My symptoms are MUCH stronger this time, so even though I feel gross, I also feel much more confident that this baby will stick. Going to the lab after school today to get my first beta draw.
I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and praying that everyone sticks!
