Hi!! My name is Cara and I am 9 weeks 2 days today (due date 3/19/20). I am 33 and my husband is 34 and this will be our first child. We started trying for a baby in January 2019 and have had two early losses since then. We live in Northern California and we both work in the legal field. I've had two ultrasounds so far, first one at 7 weeks and second one at 8 weeks and so far so good. Kaiser no longer lets you listen to the heartbeat until the second trimester so we didn't get to hear it but we saw it on the screen which was amazing! So excited for all the expecting mamas here!
@cpirtle02 Welcome! Your pregnancy journey sounds a lot like mine, except my partner and I aren't married. We experienced two early losses this year (one in March and the other at the end of May), but I'm currently 10 weeks exactly right now. FX for healthy pregnancies for both of us!
Hi everybody! I’m super late to introduce myself but here I am! I’m Jessie, originally a Jersey girl but living in VA for the last 10 years. Which basically means I use y’all very regularly but when I get excited you can absolutely hear the ‘jersey’ in my voice.
My EDD is March 26, I had my first dr appt on the 8th and we got to hear the heartbeat and everything which was completely indescribable. This is the first pregnancy for my husband and I, and we are so over the moon. I’m a former elementary teacher, currently enjoying being housewife and my husband is a cyber security analyst. We have the sweetest little 2 year old maltipoo named Indy, who is basically a little person and will have her world rocked when the little babe comes.
I’m so excited to be here and get to know everyone!
Hi everyone! My name is Kristin and this is my second pregnancy through IVF. Im from Toronto, Ontario Canada. My husband and I lost our son prematurely this past February at 24 weeks, but were lucky to get 5 hours with him He's now our little angel and will hopefully watch over us and this pregnancy. To say I'm terrified is an understatement, but so far so good and we are trying to take each day as it comes, which at times is easier said than done though. We saw a heartbeat a couple weeks ago and I was measuring right on track at 7 weeks 4 days with a heartbeat of 151. I'm now 9 weeks 2 days with an EDD of March 21. I'm a secondary teacher and am looking forward to returning to work in a couple of weeks. Much love to you all for a safe and healthy pregnancy xoxo
Hello everyone! My name is Melissa, I'm from Virginia, and this is my first pregnancy after IVF success with our second and last embryo (: My EDD is March 19 and I will be 10 weeks tomorrow! The bump has gotten me through the last 2 years, and I'm so excited to meet new friends here on the March board.
@kristris2018 nice to see another Canadian on the forum! I’m from Toronto too my due date is not far off since I’m March 25th sitting at 8w6d. My dad was also a secondary teacher and now he’s retired so we have many crossing paths. I am sorry about your loss, I’m wishing you nothing but a healthy, happy pregnancy 💛
March 31st according to LMP- first doctor appointment 3 days from now!

This is my first pregnancy after being told that I have PCOS 2 years ago and may have trouble conceiving. I went through months of menstrual complications after getting off of birth control and was just trying to get my cycle to normalize using hormones. It took 11 months of sometimes not trying/sometimes not preventing before receiving a positive test. I had to go to the ER due to bleeding less than a week after finding out I was pregnant and discovered that I had a subchorionic bleed, which should hopefully heal on its own and work itself out.
Hi everyone! I’m Meaghan. My EDD is 3/8 (my lifelong best friends birthday). My birthday is 2/27 and my first born was two weeks early...so anxious to see what happens! Possible leap year baby?
My husband and I have been married for almost 6 years. We have a 4 year old son who has Down syndrome and is an incredible big brother and best friend to his 2 year old sister, two German Shepherds and a cat.
This is my fourth pregnancy, I miscarried this past March. After that, we decided to hold off on announcing until after my first tri screening which is coming up on 8/26. Our families know—mostly because I am super close to mine and couldn’t imagine not telling them.
Super late introducing myself but I’m here! My name is Virginia and I am currently living in the PNW. My EDD is March 7! This is my first pregnancy.
My husband is in the navy and I am a criminal defense paralegal. We have a 2.5 year old dog that is our LIFE! I am obsessed with all things true crime, and also enjoy reading, cooking, and working out!
Hi! My name is Megan (31) and I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada. I am not sure if my EDD Should be March or February... My last period says March 1st should be whereas my 12 week dating ultrasound puts me at February 26th.
My husband and I have been trying for a baby for a while now and had a MC at 8 weeks back in the spring. It was a really tough time. We are cautiously optimistic this time around and with each passing day I find myself thinking maybe this one will be the one!
I am a receptionist at a dental office and my husband is a truck and transport mechanic. We own a home with our dog and 2 cats. We can't wait to welcome our little bundle to the world!
Hello everyone! Dominique... New here expecting baby March 28th! ❤️
My husband and I are 23 and married- and were not expecting this little bundle of surprise! Couldn’t be more happy though as the weeks continue to go by!
We have 2 dogs, Oakley and Sedona and on our free time love to watch scary movies (mostly me.. lol) and stay out of our Phoenix heat! 🤣
- EDD March 28 - How you found out: I was trying to make my cycle come early before my hubby came home (he works out of state) so I took a test... much to my surprise, it was positive! - Stay at home mom - Have 7 kids 3 girls and 4 boys - Found out at our first dating ultrasound that I am pregnant with twins, and we are beyond excited!

My due date is March 31st! This is my second pregnancy! I am a fifth grade teacher and I’m anxious and excited for this pregnancy. My fiancé and l found out right before I turned 5 weeks and I had a “feeling” before the pregnancy was confirmed.
My name is Christa. I'm an 33, an ECE, I live in Toronto ON and I'm pregnant with my first. I found out about a week after missed period via pregnancy test but was pretty sure before testing due to some signs and symptoms. Also curious to see what I'm measuring at because sometimes my cycles can be as long as 38 days and so by the time I found out I was pregnant I was said to be 6weeks (but this is based on a typical 28 day cycle right??) Thinking it is accurate though because if I'm honest I was having syptoms for about 3 weeks before testing. My EDD as far as I calculate is Mar 22 but haven't had an ultrasound yet. I'm 10 weeks and 2 days today and super excited to have finally scheduled my first ultrasound (done at 12 weeks?). It's lovely to see all of your stories and connect to other Moms from all over.
Hi I’m Savi, Due March 24th, 2020! Im 29 years young. 😅 My husband and I have two active boys ages 9 & 2. I found out at the end of June that we would be expecting our 3rd bundle of joy! Hobbies include binge watching trashy TV shows after my kids go to bed, and snacking on all the junk I don’t let them eat. 🤣 We have a yellow lab that is 3 years old. He’s my husbands best friend.... mine not so much. I’m a bit of a clean freak and dog hair is my worst enemy!
My first two pregnancies were very easy. No morning sickness. Just sleepiness! This one is a little different. Still no morning sickness, but I do have days were my stomach feels like it’s turning. Also, my exhaustion is on ANOTHER level. 😵 Probably because I’m chasing around a 2 year old all day. Can’t wait to meet this new babe of ours!
EDD (Estimated Due Date) - 3/12, currently 12wks - How you found out - I was late so we decided to take a test. We also recorded our reactions to the positive test. It was very emotional and pretty much 5 minutes of me saying “Oh my God!” LOL We were planning on trying next year but God had other plans! - Hobbies, Job, Etc. - hobbies currently include reading and obsessing about my little nugget 😁 (this is our first) - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Fur-babies - I have two fur-babies one of which is VERY attached to me and super jealous when I show kids attention. We are going to try to work with him on this. Wish me luck! My husband and I have been married 9 years and constantly harassed by family asking when we were going to start having babies. We announced last week and everyone is super excited and supportive. - Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 - I’m originally from Philadelphia so I’m a HUGE Eagles fan! 🦅 We just returned from our baby-moon in Bali. It was wonderful and very relaxing but the flight was killer on my back!
Hi there! I live in Berkeley, CA with my husband and doggie. We run a small company together and it was tough hiding my first trimester nausea and fatigue from our employees!
My due date is March 11. This is my first child. I still don’t feel connected to the baby yet, but hope I will soon. I’m thrilled the first trimester is over.
Hi there! Late to introduce myself, but super excited to be here. Due date for our little girl is March 8!
She was a huge surprise for me and my husband. We were told we’d have a hard time conceiving on our own and might have to start medication to induce ovulation, which we decided to wait on because we were about to move. Right away in the new house, I started having some early pregnancy symptoms, took a test, and surprise!!
It was pretty rough at the beginning, throwing up multiple times a day, but am starting to feel so much better. I have two step daughters, but this is my first pregnancy. We live in Minnesota. Husband, girls, dog and I all can’t wait for the baby to join us in March!!
Hi! Late to the party but thrilled to be expecting our third baby due March 22. We have a 12 yo son and a 6 yo daughter.. crazy child spacing but it’s wonderful in a lot of ways too. It’s also interesting to have been the very young parents when we had our first while in college, and now I’ll have gray hair when the new baby goes to school. My husband jokes that we are just trying to see how many different life stages we can parent at once 🤪. We have a bossy corgi and skittish cat as well to round out our bunch. I’ve worked as a doula, both birth and postpartum, for the past 9 years and it’s so fun to be on this side of things again.
Hi all. Just joined this group. I'm from Edmonton, AB, Canada and am due March 29 with baby #4. I've been married just shy of 16 yrs, have 3 sons- ages 9,7, and 1yr. (The little one needs a playmate, right?! 🤣) We are thrilled and feel beyond blessed. I had my first ultrasound today (10 wks, 4 days) and am in love with this little bean, watching it wiggle and the little heart beating. I'm currently 37, so getting up there, but so far, everything seems ok, and I'm hoping for the best! Also, yes, this is my last one! LOL! Nice to meet you all!
Hello! I'm Randi, 31, with EDD of 3/24/20 for my first! DH and I are so excited, tried for years and stopped worrying about it while building our house then next month BOOM - baby! I work full time as a billing manager at a pulmonology clinic in MO, planning to still work after baby is here. Fun times ahead, lol!
Will know sex of the baby by end of the month and very excited. Literally everyone, even the nurses and doctors, have called the baby a "he" without thinking about it, so I'm interested to see if they are all right, lol!
@luckyinlove2020. Lol @ your family hassling y'all to have kids - same here! My husband and I have been together since we were 15. Always with the "you better get started" . Now I'm 31 with 1st baby, lol! Yay for you and me!
@fustilugs3 crazy! Same happened to us. Decided not to worry or try until after we moved and got through a ton of renovations at the new place, and got pregnant immediately!
Congrats! Everyone told me I was having a girl and they were right
My estimated due date is March 29th. Saw the baby on ultra sound last week with a strong heartbeat. This is my first pregnancy. I found out 3 days before we got engaged.
Hi! I am late to join here because I thought I was due in April! Turns out my “period” in July was not a period at all, but heavy implantation bleeding, and I am four weeks farther along than I originally thought. Talk about a surprise at your first ever ultrasound!
My EDD is March 24, 2020. This is my first pregnancy. I found out by taking a home test after feeling very strange for a week.
I am an elementary school teacher. I also love to run. My husband and I met running track in college. I am now 30 and he is 28. We are super excited for this new journey!
Hi!! My name is Molly (33) and I am just shy of 12 weeks along. This is my first ever pregnancy; my husband (34) and I have been trying for 4.5 years, were unsuccessful "naturally" and with IUI so this summer we did IVF and got lucky! I'm due March 24. We live in Seattle but I am from Wisconsin and lived there my whole life until 2018. I'm excited to meet some other new moms 😊
@mollyanna324 welcome! I'm in Seattle(ish) too! My husband and I know a shocking number of Midwest transplants for some reason. He grew up in Madison and my best friend's husband is from Wisconsin too.
