I managed to eat half a banana in an hour and a half today  :s I know I need to eat something else and if I do I'll probably feel better, but what?
  • Sorry for all those that are spotting.  I hope all is well.

  • @pirateduck and @jennv0701 I've been shocked at my appetite, too! I haven't been particularly nauseous, but I can't eat half of what I normally used to be able to. I just get really full, really fast.

  • @pirateduck the eat everything phase will come soon.  ;)

  • I've definitely spotted more this time than with DD. Every time I grow a week, I get fresh new mini cramps. Last week my MS was out of control. I felt horrible and sick from 9am-1pm. Just in time for all meetings and times I need to interact with people. This weekend  my husband mostly took care of DD, thank god. I was in bed a lot I'm soooo tired all the time. Sheesh. I'm a vegetarian but during pregnancy I've often craved meat. I've had it twice since finding out I'm pregnant and I can't believe how much of it I can eat. I tried going for a run the other day but my boobs were killer achey. Spotted after sex and spotting while constipated AF. I need coffee every morning. If I don't i get headaches that are awful that Tylenol doesn't even touch. I LOVE the smell of coffee now. With DD I couldn't even imagine the smell without gagging.
  • @elmann1 First I want to agree that Tylenol is worthless.  No doctor seems to be able to recommend anything for pain, and I have headaches and migraines (without being pregnant) as well as a bulging disk that causes issues and I can't take anything ever!  Ugh.  I am a vegetarian also and although all blood tests show I'm getting enough of everything (protein, calcium, good blood sugar, etc.) my husband is convinced I need to eat meat while I'm pregnant.  We've been through a lot and if I need to do this for him, I will, but I'm not excited about it.  I'm hoping I get to the point, where like you (and other women I've met), that I actually want to eat meat and it doesn't gross me out.
  • When did most of you start experiencing nausea? I am 4 wks 5 days (due Feb 27) and feel nothing but super puffy boobs and kind of like I'm going to get my period.

@sunshinegarden I’m 5w4d and not yet having MS. Today, I was planning to have the dinner I’d meal prepped, which I ate Sunday and Monday too...and when I got home today there was NO way I could stomach the idea of it. I had a can of soup instead. Not outright nausea but this feeling of uhh, no, not a good idea. So I’m worried it’s beginning...in a previous pregnancy I don’t think I had MS until like 7 weeks.

@sunshinegarden I started experiencing mild nausea that came and went in week 5, and now at 7w4d, it's every day but still no vomiting.

    Edit: words are hard.
  • @sunshinegarden with my first pregnancy MS started around 5.5 weeks and peaked around week 7. This time I am 5w5d and nothing yet. If anything I’m starving!
  • @babylawyer I hope it’s just normal spotting and everything is ok  <3

  • @babylawyer so sorry for the persistent spotting! I know exactly how worrisome it can be. FX that all is well. I'll be thinking about you.

@sunshinegarden food aversions and queasiness started at about 5w5d, and full blown nausea started at exactly 6w. It's an all day every day kind of thing now! I'll be 7w on Saturday.
  • @babylawyer I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. Fingers crossed everything is ok.

I have been MIA the past two days due to work travel. I’ve been so crampy all of a sudden. I think I remember this with my other pregnancies, but it’s always so scary to have cramps. Hoping it’s just things stretching out.
  • @um_thor I wouldn't say I am nauseous, I would say I have indigestion.  It started about 5 weeks and continues.  Gassy and burping lots after eating for hours.  It's worst in the evenings, but it's pretty much every night and it doesn't seem to matter what I eat.  I can eat bland and boring and still have indigestion.  Sometimes I don't sleep well because of it.  Then it clears up in the day and I don't want to eat because I don't want to trigger it again.

@babylawyer I'm sorry you are still spotting.  Mine has stopped (for now).  My regular doctor never called me back (usually really good about that so I'm annoyed), but I did speak with an on call nurse that set my mind at ease some, but I'm still stressed.  I already have an appointment set for Monday, so I just have to wait it out until then I guess.  Fingers crossed all is well for both of us, I'm sure we will both feel better after we see our doctors and they can give us a better idea of what's going on.
  • @babylawyer I am so sorry.  I hope all is well.

I had a brief five minutes where I felt normal.  It was glorious.
  • @babylawyer I’m just a PM away if you need. Keeping fingers crossed for you!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • @babylawyer Thinking of you and hoping everything is okay.

@jynjer91 Solidarity on the bloat. And ask about the unisom- it sounds like you have way too much going on not to be eating. That's probably adding to the exhaustion and I know B6 is supposed to help with energy levels too.

  • Does anyone else (especially those who haven’t had an ultrasound yet) have this terrible sense of impending doom? Like nothing in particular is happening, you just feel like your pregnancy isn’t viable? Until recently I was excited for my ultrasound tomorrow. Now I’m absolutely dreading it, terrified that they are going to tell me I’m having a missed miscarriage. I don’t know why I feel like this.

Yes.  I am terrified for for my first ultrasound.  I've somehow convinced myself I'm not really pregnant and anything I am feeling or my body is doing is only because of my progesterone supplements.
  • @daffodil_shoe Yes, feeling the same!

  • Oh no @SheHulk723 , sending big hugs your way, please keep us updated.  Hopefully it's just too early to see anything on US and the bleeding slows.
  • @pirateduck and @brookert615 I’m sorry you feel like this too! It’s horrible, I feel like I’m going to have an anxiety attack soon.

@SheHulk723 I’m so sorry you’re going through that! What a terrible feeling. Can’t they do a beta to check your levels?
  • @SheHulk723 also want to say that sucks about the insurance, I had a mix up myself and turns out my RE is out of network when I was initially told it would be in network, I owe an arm and leg.  Insurance is such a nightmare when all we want to do is be well and take care of ourselves.  Going through something like this is difficult enough without having to deal with the insurance piece.

  • @SheHulk723 I’m so sorry you’re stuck in limbo. I hope you get some positive answers soon!

@daffodil_shoe @brookert615 @pirateduck Same. Last night I had some mild cramps and a few minutes of light spotting and I was consumed with impending doom. I figured it wasn’t worth calling anyone since my first OB appt was this am.
  • @SheHulk723 So sorry to hear this- waiting it so hard and insurance BS is more than you should have to think about right now. Fingers crossed for you.
  • @daffodil_shoe thank you for saying this- I feel similarly and it looks like we aren’t alone. Not that I wish these feelings in anyone but it makes me feel like I’m not crazy.

@SheHulk723 I’m so sorry about everything- a terrible situation all around. Big hugs.
  • Thank you all so much  <3
@daffodil_shoe they checked the levels and it said 769, but that they can't say anything off the one number, and that the follow up dr would do another to compare. I don't really know anything about the levels.

  • @SheHulk723 I did read that under 1000 HCG it is difficult to see much of anything on ultrasound yet, so hopefully it's just too early to see anything.
  • @SheHulk723 yes under 1,000 they can’t see anything really, sometimes even higher. How far along do you think you are?
  • @jvk2012 I thought 6w1d based on LMP. Although, come to think of it, both of my other pregnancies were earlier than was calculated based on LMP, so I might possibly be earlier than that. My cycle isn't entirely regular.
