@noxacanthus I'm so glad to hear that! My spotting has continued but not gotten worse. Still faint brown. I tried putting the progesterone in a little more "shallow" than previously last night but not sure that it did anything. Probably need to do so for more than one dose to see a difference haha. I googled a bunch of comforting stories on spotting while on progesterone suppositories and with my nurse not being concerned and the spotting not worsening, I'm feeling OK. I wish it would stop obviously but I'm no longer freaking out completely. I have been skipping my hiking and evening dog walks with the hubs to try and "rest" but it's also miserably hot outside so I don't feel so bad about it.
The MS is finally getting real. No barfing yet but I feel like every day I inch closer to the inevitable. I'm keeping saltines on my nightstand for the minute I wake up. It gets better when I eat so I force myself to eat. The food aversions are crazy; when we went grocery shopping today it was like it was another person's cart! I got some things I think I'll eat but it all seems to depend on the day and how I feel in the moment. Ugh. I got some Unisom @daffodil_shoe - I want to check with my nurse first but ACOG even recommends it so I have a hard time thinking they'll say no...
@Swiftlet, my RE told me 25mg of B6 3x a day and Unisom before bed to help with nausea. It was approved by RE and OB for my last pregnancy without hesitation. I have it on hand for this one as well if needed. It helped some last time.
Well I think I have officially acquired my first UTI in many many years thanks to being pregnant. Currently drinking the hell out of some cranberry juice. 😬
Ok, this is weird, but all of a sudden, I am peeing a lil when sneezing! Haven't had any pelvic floor issues after my first so I'm surprised this is happening while I'm pregnant. Anyone else?
Anyone else have a bladder infection already? 🙋🙋 What an uncomfortable, uncomfortable feeling all round. Also, I am precariously close to crying every single second. I literally BAWLED three times today: I thought my spouse didn't have fun last night when I had so much fun (he apologized for what he'd said but seriously wtf was I thinking 🙄), the Lumineers playlist Cleopatra was playing on YouTube and the videos were making me so sad because it's all about missed connections and missing out on love, and I watched the show Doghouse and they put down a dog and I couldn't stop. Please send help. 😭😭😭😭😭
I know that feel. I made literally the tiniest bowl of spaghetti mixed with cheese chunks. What is that even? Ghetto mac and cheese? A toddler's dinner fantasy? Disclaimer: Holy toast it was good. 🧀🧀🧀
@Swiftlet hoping for you that it is the suppositories. I went off them two days ago (due to graduating from RE at 8 weeks) and my spotting has stopped. *knock on wood*
I went shopping for new bras today (went up a cup size and got the front-zipper sports bras to boot). First of all, it is so magical. I no longer feel squished, compressed, or like I'm about to fall out. Second, I apparently can add "brightly colored clothes" to the list of things that make me nauseous. I couldn't look at some of the displays, especially the neon ones.
Broke down and bought Jolly Ranchers and sea bands today. I took unisom last night but am still waking up due to the nausea in the middle of the night. Forced down a saltine and was able to go back to sleep. Going to try the unisom plus sea bands tonight and see how that goes. I know the nausea is a good sign but woof
@noxacanthus so glad to hear yours has stopped! I’m supposed to d/c the suppositories at 8 weeks too, just about two weeks to go! And weird about the bright colors! Bodies are so strange.
I agree with @DDRRT1982 here. A UTI without antibiotics can quickly become a kidney infection and much more serious. Trust me, this is a road you don’t want to go down.
I took unisom + b6 two nights last week and was a zombie the next day. My nausea is so bad, but I have to be functional. Is zofran an option anymore? Thinking about calling my OB. I bought sea bands today but I’m not sure if they did anything. So long as I’m eating I’m ok.
