Hi! I'm 45 and this is my 8th pregnancy, and hopefully my 4th baby. I suffered a miscarriage at 10 weeks in March and then an early miscarriage in early January. we have been TTC for over 2 years. We had one other early miscarriage in 2018.
I have started progesterone and seeing a fertility specialist now, so there will be more monitoring in early pregnancy to make sure it is a viable pregnancy.
All have been spontaneous pregnancies, so we are all hoping this one sticks.
We are a blended family and this will be our first baby together.
I’m an 30yr old and my husband is 35 and we live in NJ. We have been married for 3yrs this October. We have an Aussie, Bailey and a Maltese, Cooper!
We tried for a couple years casually to get pregnant and in Jan this year we made the step to go to a fertility doctor and see what was going on. Well I have blocked tubes so we only had IVF as an option.
Fast forward with some insurance issues and bad timing we are currently 5weeks pregnant! Due date 2/13/20. We couldn’t be more excited with something that seemed so impossible just 6months ago.
Hoping this all goes smoothly and I’m looking forward to enjoying this gift we have been given!
I'm 34 and this is my third pregnancy and hopefully 2nd child. I have a wonderful son who is 2 years old. I am Canadian but will be moving to the US next week for work! Just like others who have had a loss, I'm very nervous. I hope this one sticks. My first pregnancy was a MMC at 11 weeks.
My due date is February 12, 2020 based on when I ovulated.
Excited to meet everyone.
MMC @ 10w March 2016 Cautiously expecting April 5, 2017
I’m Sharon and I’m 28. This will be my second kiddo. I have a 3 year old named Riley. I live in Hawaii with plans to move to Indiana in the next year (I hope) . I’m a family photographer and a crafty person. I help run social media pages for my local fit4mom group as well as running the playgroup.
I have no idea on my due date yet cause I haven’t gotten in for an appointment. I’m guessing it’ll be around feb 10. The bump changed my life my first pregnancy so I’m hoping this one will be just as good
Hey Im from central Indiana. The weather is either hot and humid in the summer at a peak of 99° (real feel of (112°), or its mid Januarys low of -16° (with a real feel of -30). But the cost of living is cheap, lots of manufacturing jobs, and lots of soy beans and corn. I hope your trip here is well.
I'm 29, with two kids, a daughter (9) and a son (7). Based on lmp my due date will be around Feb 1st. But I cant get in to see the doctor until July 17th, which is a long wait.
Hello! I’m 34 and here with a surprise baby number 6! We have a 10, 8, 5 and almost 3yr old twins. And I honestly can’t believe we are having another, but hubby is elated. So that’s good! Excited to get to know you all better!
Hi! I’m 32 and live in WA. We have an almost 5 year old son and my EDD for this one is Feb 13th! I’m super close to my bump group from my 1st (June 14), so I’m excited to get to know you all.
Hello all! I am 33 and this will be my first baby but my 2nd pregnancy. Since my first ended in mmc, I am very apprehensive. I believe I have an edd of February 11th, but will get confirmation on the 25th! Nice to meet you all!
Hello! I'm 31 from MI and am expecting my second sometime late Feb. I think my due date will be around the 23rd. I have a sweet and spunky 2.5 year old daughter. I loved the support of a BMB when I was pregnant with my first so I'm excited to get to know you all
Hey y’all! I’m pregnant with our second - just found out on Friday! I haven’t been to the doctor yet to confirm but guessing EDD is around Feb 20. But I will have a RCS so it’ll probably be around Valentines Day- though I don’t want a Valentines Day birthday, so hopefully we can do the day before or day after.
We have a 2.5 year old son and have just told my parents and my other BMB. Here’s to a happy and healthy 9 months!
Me:33 DH: 34 Married: May 2011 TTC #1: May 2015 DS: 10/20/2016 TTC #2: June 2019 #2 EDD: 2/20/2020
Hi everyone!! Excited to be joining you all. I just got my BFP this morning and am still in "shocked" mode!
I'm 30 years old, and live in Manitoba, Canada. I have 2 boys (May 2015 and March 2018) and have been married to my husband for 7 years. This is my 5th pregnancy *TW* as I have 2 angel babies as well (2017) *End TW*
Super excited to be here and get to know you all. I'm not on here often because my boys keep me busy, but I'll try my best to check in as often as I can!
I keep editing my post because I realize I forgot something! LOL! EDD should be February 24!
Hi all. I think I'm finally ready to join in and a week of testing positive. I'm 33, have a 5 and 2 yo. EDD 2/22. TW below:
I was in Oct 19 BMB, but had a blighted ovum and D&C at 8 weeks. I took a bit of a break from TheBump and popped in infrequently to mostly check in with the TTCAL ladies. KU first cycle after being benched, a lovely 6 week cycle.
Hello everyone, love to be able to introduce myself here! I’m 33 and have an 18 month old daughter. My due date is February 12th. I loved my December ‘17 BMB, we’re still in touch, and I hope to find this group as awesome!
I’m from Europe (non-specified due to possible lurking family members ☺️) and currently reside there as well. Due to the time difference I’ll post at odd hours.
Hi! I'm 37 (will be 38 on EDD of 2/16). My husband and I have been married for 3 years in October and trying for 11 months. This will be my first and his second. (He has a 13 yr old son)
Just found out last Weds and waiting until my husbands 40th this weekend to surprise him with the news. So far, just some cramping and slight nausea here and there but the fatigue is real! I literally spent 90% of yesterday napping or resting on our couch. Hoping this little nugget sticks. Have my first appt next Friday and hopefully will be much less paranoid after everything afterwards. Haha.
Hi everyone! I’m 28, and this will be baby #2. We have been dealing with unexplained infertility for the last 2.5 years. This last month we decided to take a break and stopped taking the meds, ovulation tests, etc. to my surprise i was late so i took a test and it was positive! To be honest i was more nervous than excited after having 3 chemical pregnancies. So i called my doctor and she had me come in for a blood draw. Once again i was shocked when my hcg was 131. It has NEVER been that high! So there was a little hope. Two days later, tested again, and it was 321! More than doubled! That’s never happened either! It’s still very early being a little over 5 weeks, but i have hope this pregnancy is different. I’ve got all the symptoms in the book, but I’m still running to the bathroom every 30 minutes to see if I’m bleeding. First ultra sound will be at 7 weeks so fingers crossed we have good news!
Hi all! I am 32 and this is my first baby. I am 4 weeks and 6 days and soooooo nervous. I am going for my blood test Wednesday but I have taken about 1000 tests already lol.
My husband and I have been together for 13 years and married for 6 so we are so excited! My EDD is Feb 18.
Hi Everyone! I am 30 years old and pregnant with my first baby. I am 5 weeks and 5 days along. My EDD is February 12. I haven't been to the doctor yet, but I have a regular cycle so I was able to figure out what the date would be. I'm exctied, terrified, but also in a little bit of denial, like am I really pregnant?
My husband and I will be married 3 years on June 25 and we've been together for 8. We live in the Baltimore, MD area. Excited to get to know everyone!
Hello I am 31 and I am 5 weeks and 3 days (EDD Feb 14th ) . This is my 6th pregnancy and hopefully 4th baby. I had 2 blighted ovum mcs between #2 and #3. I am anxiously awaiting an early u/s next Monday before I share the news with anyone other than my husband.
My husband and I have been together for 10 years, married for 6. We are from Missouri. I am a school nurse and he is a delivery driver. Our children are 11, 4, and 21 months. This will be the final addition to our family. We have always found out gender, so I am Team Green this time. I am so excited to be here and on this journey with all of you!
@patrice121 omg props to you for being able to wait to tell your man until his bday! I could barely keep quiet for 24 hrs lol. What a cool present though!
Hi I’m 27 will be a FTM my EDD is feb 22, 5 days after I turn 28, my SO and I have been together for 8 1/2 years we have two cats Aristo who is 6 and Freya who is 16wks
Hi everyone I was a member of TTGP for a while last year and think I recognize one or two faces.
Very tentatively throwing my hat in the ring here..we've been trying for over a year, had a (naturally conceived) chemical the cycle before starting infertility treatments. This was our third medicated cycle and second IUI and it worked, but I'm still feeling nervous. My first beta was today (932, yay) and am scheduled for a second on Wednesday with my RE. We triggered with four follicles but my right tube is presumed blocked so hopefully we aren't looking at quads here
I'm 31, my husband is 32, we have a dog and chickens and love to hike Hopefully after my next beta I'll start feeling a little better and can start contributing more around here.
Hey Everyone!! I’m a 34 year old STM, have an amazing husband and a wild 2.5 year old DS. I miscarried a little over a year ago and have my fingers crossed my DS is gonna get a sibling! Found out I had PCOS and wasn’t ovulating, OB put me on Chlomid, this was my 3rd month on Chlomid and I got my positive last week and confirmed prego with blood test! yay!! EDD is February 23rd.
Hi everyone! I am 28, my husband is 36, and we live in Philadelphia, PA with our two fur babies, Dozer and Dakota.
This is our first pregnancy and we are over the moon excited (and anxious)! After over two and a half years of TTC with “unexplained infertility” as a diagnosis, an insurance company that does not cover any type of fertility treatment, and after paying out of pocket for several failed medicated cycles, we made the decision to enroll in a medical study that would allow us to try IVF for a fraction of the cost.
Because of our doctor offering this chance to us, we are now 6w5d pregnant with an EDD of February 6, 2020!

Hello Everyone!! This is #3 for us after a miscarriage in January. We are in TX with our 2 kids, 3 & 5. I am 35 yrs old, married for almost 9 yrs. Like many of you hoping to enjoy this and not rush the experience!
Hey Everyone! Congrats to you all I’m 29, soon to be 30 & we live in Sydney now, but originally from VA but had my 1st in TX. Happy to say we are expecting #3.. I believe my EDD is feb 17th but going to the dr next week to confirm. Previously I mostly lurked other than introducing myself/responding to 1 or 2 threads/posting birth story. Looking forward to *trying* to be more involved this go around and getting to know you all!
Hey there, I am Lindsay! I am 28 years old and currently 5 weeks pregnant - this is my first pregnancy. Me and my husband have been together for nearly 10 years but we didn't start trying until recently. I am a TOTAL mix of emotions - anxious, thrilled and scared all at once. I have a lot of friends that have went through many miscarriages before finally having a successful pregnancy, so that is where most of my anxiety is coming from. I had an appointment with my GP on Monday to confirm my pregnancy and test my hCG levels. My first appointment with my OB is next Tuesday 6/25 - I will be almost 6 weeks. Can anyone provide me with clarity on whether they will do an ultrasound then or not? I am hoping that they will - I think after I see my little peanut on a screen, my anxieties will calm down a bit. Anyway, I absolutely LOVE kids! I am a teacher and being around children is my absolute passion. I have a wiener dog named Frank that is basically my child. He goes everywhere with me and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I have been stalking this board until I was actually able to post something - but I did have a question.. all of the acronyms are extremely confusing.. is there a cheat sheet someone could provide me with?!
I look forward to getting to know you all! -Lindsay
@lindsaybeabrown Hello! And congrats!!! I'm also 5 weeks and this is also my first pregnancy. My doctor's office explained that the first appointment is pretty much just explaining a lot and then ordering bloodwork. They said that they would do the ultrasound between 8-10 weeks. Hope that helps!
Well, guess I"m bringing up the rear. Currently 3w4d pregnant with the faintest of squinters this morning after IVF. 8th pregnancy, hopefully 2nd living child.

@lindsaybeabrown My OB office doesn’t do ultrasounds until about 9 weeks. That’s when my first appointment is, so I get it because it’s stressful waiting so long. I’m also a teacher! And on my first BMB there was a link to help with all the acronyms. I wonder if someone knows where that is?
Hi everyone! Congratulations to you all! I'm also tip-toeing in, got a squinter this morning and guessing edd will be the last week of February. Expecting to have a rcs if this one sticks. I am a TTM with two sons who are 5 and 2. I lurked a bit on their bmb but was too nervous to really get involved as I've also had a few m/c. Feeling braver this time though and hoping this one sticks!
@lindsaybeabrown Usually early ultrasounds are for people who have struggled with fertility issues or previous losses and / or abnormal bloodwork or bleeding. You can always ask your doc office what to expect.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
