Hi everyone. I am 29 and from Alberta, Canada. My husband is 35. We have been married for 3 years. Our LO is due Feb 1. This is our first and we were pleasantly surprised to get a BFP on our first month really trying. Though, as my husband keeps saying, this kind of "luck" seems to run in both our families. He is a twin and was kind of hoping we would have twins, but (thankfully on my end) we aren't. While we get ready for baby, I am wrapping up the final research project for my masters in counselling psychology and will be starting a new job in August. My supervisor already knows we are expecting and is so excited for us.
In all honesty, I will probably be a lurker but thought I should introduce myself in case I do decide to engage.ย
I'm 35 and Italian-American, native New Yorker (the city) and have been living in Rome, Italy for the least 12 years. My partner of 8 years and I had been trying to start a family for over a year, and had two very early losses.
Today I am 7 weeks + 1 day with this very much wanted pregnancy. Less than two weeks after my positive pregnancy test, we received some unpleasant news and I was diagnosed with stage II invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer)... completely unexpected and turned our world upside down.
Because of my diagnosis I was encouraged to end the pregnancy in order to proceed with the most aggressive treatment plan possible. I just couldn't do it, and as of today I can say I have finally found a team of doctors here in Italy willing support me through this journey.ย
I am super determined to experience as much of the joy and excitement of the experience of being pregnant as I can, notwithstanding I will be going through surgery and chemo while pregnant. So that's why I am here, to share this journey with you all, complain about all of the normal stuff, ask all of the questions, have all the worries and enjoy all of the exciting moments.
My EDD is February 11, 2020. My sister's birthday! I will not be allowed to carry to term, but I hope you all don't mind me joining in here anyway. Fagiolino (Italian for "little bean") had his THIRD ultrasound today and is growing right on schedule and his/(her?) little heart is beating away.

Hi ladies!!ย Iโm 39 and just found out I'm pregnant with baby number 2 (EDD of February 27th)!ย My husband is 36 and our little boy is 2.5 years old, we live in Pittsburgh, PA.ย We also have 2 cats and an Australian Shepherd pup (7 months old...our house is chaos, lol).ย ย

@kaeineurope so happy to โsee a familiar faceโ over here! Iโm thrilled to hear that you finally have a supportive team of doctors! Glad the little one is growing right in schedule!ย
Iโm not entirely sure that I should even be here because it doesnโt quite feel real... Iโve been married for 6 years and have a 3.5 year old and a newly 2 year old, both girls. DH and I have been talking about having a third for about 6 months or so, and decided that next cycle we would go for it. Except, Iโm apparently a speshul snowflake because I found out today that I am pregnant. I canโt stop POAS Iโm in such disbelief. I didnโt even think I ovulated this month! *TW* I had a miscarriage between my girls that was a surprise baby and I feel really nervous because of it.. easy come, easy go and all that *end TW*ย
I hope to get to stick around and get to know you all!ย
@kaeineurope you are one badass, cancer-slaying, warrior Mama! It sounds like you have a fantastic community around you in Italy, and you'll find a lot of support and love from The Bump community. Sending all the good vibes your way โคโค
mandk1233ย youย are the same ages as my husband and I. But we are on number 2, due Feb 27, on my mom's bday! It was the first month using ovulation sticks and it worked! I am near Portland, OR we love this big city and everything it has for kids. Also quitting work since the physical demands are too much and be a stay at home mom for now. I am still not feeling too excited because of the risk of miscarriage. Two of my friends and sister in law have had miscarriages at 4 months or less. Really opened my eyes. But they all got their rainbow babies now.**
@kaeineurope Iโll be keeping you in my thoughts! I hope treatment goes well for both of you.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Hello! I just turned 36 this month. My husband and I have been married for nine years in July. We have one four year old daughter. This pregnancy was a complete shock and surprise. I have PCOS and Endometriosis. I was also on BC. EDD is 2/29.
@kaeineurope welcome and good luck on your journey. ย I really hope you enjoy this pregnancy and are able to preserve your health at the same time. ย I will be praying for you and am so glad you are here to share your journey with us. ย
@cait_w20 "Handful" is an understatement, he's driving my husband nuts!!ย Life is just hectic right now, hopefully we can get into more of routine with him soon so he's getting all that energy out.ย ย
Me: 39 DH: 36 Married: Sept 2018 DS: December 2016 #2 EDD Feb 2020
Hi All! My EDD is Feb 14th. This was our second FET (the last one in March ended in a miscarriage) so I'm still pretty nervous and cautiously excited. We've been TTC for 4 years now so I hope this is the one!ย
Hey guys! 21 y/o STM in Texas! My first is turning 3 next Monday (Pray for me to get past this threenager stage) and S/O is 22. We started our little family early, but Iโm still pursuing my education in environmental science & a working mama. EDD is 2/19 which is SOโs birthday so heโs super excited about that lol! I was a lurker for my sons month group July 2016 and I canโt say Iโve come out of my shell very much from then, but Iโm def willing to try! Im so looking forward to getting STM advice and helping out when I can for first time mom questions!ย
@FakeFinn Hi! So fun to see you here (I'm in the Dec '17 FB group, M. C.). Have you announced in the group yet? I wasn't sure if I missed it or if you were waiting--I won't say anything on there!ย ย
stuck in in the box. Hi @shella835! Yes I have announced it, but in a daily post, so you could well have missed it You guys are the only ones Iโve shared it with so far I believe thereโs 3 of us December โ17 Bumpies expecting in February 2020!ย
ETA: I hadnโt finished reading. So definitely three of us here with @babytimeagain! Hooray! Happy to be on this journey with both of you again!!!
Hi Iโm Anna. Iโm pregnant with my 3rd. My oldest is 12 and youngest is 15 months i dont know my due date yet since Iโve been breastfeeding all this time, no period, no idea of my ovulation dates! I will find out tomorrow... it might just be a March baby!!ย
@chipsnsalsa20 I do not blame you one bit for not jumping into July 2016. That was my BMB and it was intense. Everyone was all about harsh snark and half of us got ban hammered including me. There were 2 FB spin-offs, one of which imploded due to being too snarky... Dramatic times. I hope you'll join in here. Everyone is super supportive and there's hardly any snarking to dodge. Congrats and welcome!
@craftywitch I thought something about your profile seemed familiar! And Iโm so glad I wasnโt the only one who thought they were a little extra snarky ๐ Good to know, that makes me way less intimidated to being open in this birth month group!ย
@chipsnsalsa20 and @craftywitch I was also July 2016! I was semi involved but was never a part of the FB groups. Happy to be in a group with you again!ย
Hello all! I'm glad I finally can introduce myself in here. My name's Chandra and I just got married in May. My husband and I had discussed TTC as soon as possible because we want 3-4 kids and we aren'tย getting any younger. (I'm a couple months shy of 29 and hes a couple months shy of 33).ย Anyway, I took a PT on Father's Day and got a very faint positive at about 4 weeks! I guess we got lucky in the first go!!! I wasn't sure if that would happen or not as I'm quite obese. But I took another test just to be sure last week and that faint positive turned into a BFP! I'm currently 6+2 weeks and my EDD is 2/20. I have my first doctors appointment at 8 weeks and I'm so excited and anxious to go!ย We decided to wait until that appointment to share our good news with the families and 12 weeks to tell everybody else. I'm not good with keeping secrets so it's nice to have some place to talk it out and ask questions!ย
Hey all! Little late to the board. Mom of a 2 1/2 year old and expecting our next February 3rd. Just got confirmation last Tuesday (had a miscarriage back in February so I was super anxious about the appointment). Our current family of 3 live in the suburbs of Philly.ย
Hi! I am 30 and this is my fourth pregnancy(not saying baby in case). Married 9 years with a 6 year old ds, 4 year old dd and a 15 month ds. Was not planning on this in fact I got off a bc that was making me sick and was using condoms until I could start the new med......... but as Jeff Goldblum said "life finds a way"!ย Oh and due date should be February 25th.
Hello! ย Iโm 32 and DH is 34. This is our 4th and final, due 2/28! ย We have a DS 10 yo today, a DD 8 yo and a DD 3 yo. Iโve been on the bump with each pregnancy and enjoy it to help pass the months! ย
Hi all, I'm Lolo. I'm 32 and this is my 2nd pregnancy. I unfortunately lost the first at 20 weeks in 2007.ย I didn't think it was possible for me to get pregnant again, so I am very excited and hopeful!
Hi all! 33 y/o in NC here. Married to my wonderful husband for 5 years, together for 14. We've had two losses within the last year so ๐คthis little nugget will be Baby #1! EDD 2/23, really hoping for an Aquarius-Pisces cusper! I'm a registered dietitian and normally I love cooking, hiking, and reading but lately I've been enjoying napping, complaining about being tired, and obsessively checking pregnancy apps ๐. Cautiously optimistic and super excited to be here with you all!
Hi all, I am Rachel. ย I am 35 and my first pregnancy. ย My husband and I got married in the beginning of May and we were lucky to get pregnant right away. ย I didnโt think it would be possible due to my age and only having one ovary. ย We are really excited and got to see our little baby today for the first time. Our due date is Feb 5, 2020.
Hi ladies!!!! My name is Megan. I am 35 and this is my 3rd pregnancy. I have a 5.5yo dd and a 3.75yo ds. I live in NC and my husband and I just celebrated out 8th wedding anniversary.ย

Hi everyone! Iโm 29 and this is my first pregnancy. Our EDD is Feb 24th (the day before my sisters birthday!). My fiancรฉ and I just bought a house last month. We have two deer head chihuahua pups (sisters) and one pup thatโs a little older, sheโs a minpin chihuahua mix. So happy to be here with you ladies! We were only trying for 3 months... didn't think it would happen so quick!
Hello! I am 28 and this is my first pregnancy! My hubs and I live in Virginia with our 4 month old shih tzu pup. We have been married just over two years and we were lucky enough to get a BFP on our 3rd month! My EDD is February 1st (so I may end up being a January mom), but for now Iโll hang out here! So excited to be here and to keep watching my little nugget grow!
