@mackorori that's amazing! fx for a strong beta today! @ellis1983 good luck with your second beta today as well! This group is off to such a great start!
AFM - just got back from my RE. He saw one follicle growing, so there's still hope! I just hate the waiting and not knowing when the transfer may be. I go back on Monday for another scan. FX things continue to go in the right direction from here!

@mackorori Yaaay! Congrats and thank you! Hoping everything works out and lining cooperates!
@wifeinraleigh28 Thank you! I believe I'll find out tomorrow, it's all dependant on my lining at this point i think. So if it's thickened up, i'll start PIO, go in for a matris a couple days later and if all is looking good it will be next weekend (I THINK). Hoping to have more clarity tomorrow as i've just kind of pieced this together myself haha
In a moment of weakness this afternoon I took an HPT and it was negative. I know it could still be early, but I’m losing hope. I felt strange the whole time to be honest, like it wasn’t going to work. Who gets lucky twice in a row? I wish these transfers weren’t so damn expensive. If I could afford to transfer all my embryos I might be able to relax a bit.

@wifeinraleigh28 ugh that really sucks. Yah it could still be too early..
So I’m not sure if this is helpful, but I’ve seen a crazy range of prices for ivf services. For example, my clinic charges absurd prices without insurance, while ive seen some clinics charge less- about $1500 for a transfer cycle. You could transfer your embryos if you find a cheaper clinic? Also are you using your HSA/ FSA? That could also help.
@wifeinraleigh28 please don't give up hope! If it helps, when I got my first ever BFP, I tested at home and it was still negative. The second line showed up a day after! You're still early. I really hope this works for you!

Thanks ladies, it still seems so unreal. Hoping the betas are all good and this keeps moving in the right direction.
@wifeinraleigh28 don't give up hope yet, I've heard plenty of other stories about women getting negatives at home then the blood test comes back positive. Hoping the best.
@Tulips29 glad to hear things look like they still might move forward
Thank you for the encouragement ladies! @Tulips29 I’m so glad you’re still in the game this month
@somewhereinnyc I hadn’t thought to check other clinics. My clinic charges just over $3k for the FET only. Then monitoring visits are at least another $1k. Plus meds. It’s just so expensive. We don’t have an HSA and our insurance doesn’t cover any part of IVF.
I’ve decided not to test at home again since I regret doing so today. I’m already prepared now for it to be negative, so a positive would certainly be a pleasant surprise. I’m going to spend the next few days being grateful for what I currently have in my life and focus on that. The fact that my first FET was successful is more than I know many can say and I feel blessed every day for that!
Of course I’m still rooting for the rest of you!

@wifeinraleigh28 fingers crossed for you. I don’t know exactly how far past transfer you are, but if you’re not to your beta yet it’s still likely early.
AFM, I had my first blood draw today just to make sure I’m responding appropriately to the patches and it came back 62, which they seem to be happy with. I’ve been on one every other day for a week, and the next day is Sunday and I’ll put on 2, then 3, then 4 and have drawn and US Friday and hopefully start progesterone in oil and Endometrin both a week from tomorrow. I still feel pretty distant from the whole thing so far.
@wifeinraleigh28 I agree with the group, it’s too early to give up hope! I do love your attitude where you are focusing on what you already have! I have to tell myself that all the time after having 16 months of disappointments. FX that your beta with be BFP!
My 2nd beta was yesterday. Hcg was 1,040 11dpt. They said looks good and no need for more blood testing. I have ultrasound April 29! Praying for everything to continue to go smoothly, taking it 1 day at a time. They said my due date is Dec 18! Still can’t stop smiling
had my monitoring today (it’s cycle day 11). They saw a follicle at 14.8mm and my lining is 11.4 and trilaminar. Transfer date is dependent on whenever they detect my LH surge by blood (which is likely very soon).
Was super relieved at the lining results bc I had 2 d&c’s and 15 misoprostol to get rid of my lining/ missed mc in February..!
Thanks for all the encouragement everyone. The more I read about ladies not getting positives yet on 7dpt (especially with FETs which can taking longer than fresh transfers to implant) the more hopeful I've become. I'm definitely not counting myself out yet, but I feel prepared for either result on Monday morning. I'm also experiencing symptoms similar to when I got my BFP so that's encouraging.
Lovely second beta @ellis1983! I wonder if there are 2 babies growing in there!
@somewhereinnyc Great to hear about your lining! Hopefully transfer is soon!
@mackorori Congrats on the beta! Good luck Monday!
@wifeinraleigh28 haha! There’s always a chance since I transferred two embies! I guess we find out for sure in two weeks! Best of luck at your beta tomorrow!
@italianmommy8 That’s great to hear! Congrats! When is beta?
@ellis1983 that's amazing! I also wonder if both embryos implanted. So exciting!
@italianmommy8 yay! that's great! now fx for good beta results on wednesday!
@somewhereinnyc sounds like you and i are in the same boat with our progress. i also went in over the weekend to check on my lining and estrogen, which went up again. just came back from my appointment and the follicle is growing, so my doc is saying i should ovulate soon. FET will be 5 days after that, which should still be by the end of this month (hopefully). the only downside with the natural cycle is not knowing when the transfer will be. i have to travel for work and may not be able to do it if transfer will fall on the days i'm away. trying to be so patient here just letting my body do its thing.

Thank you so much everyone! Transfer went smoothly on Friday - one 3BB (was a 4BB but shrunk during freezing which they said is typical). Now anxiously waiting to POS on Friday. Beta is Sunday....so hopefully Happy Easter to us! It's going to be a weekend full of family so hoping to have some good news so my spirits will be good.
@wifeinraleigh28 Anxiously waiting for your beta results today!!! Crossing everything for you! How are you feeling? Has your LO given you any chance to rest up? @ellis1983 CONGRATS!!!!! Can't wait to hear your next beta! Think both stuck? @mackorori CONGRATS!!!! YAY!!! Can't wait to hear! We're off to a great start!! Hope all the good luck rubs off on me. @sadubey Just a few more days!! How did the PIO go? Before transfer, I was using a heating pad to reduce the pain after the shot (the actual muscle soreness). Now, since I don't want to use a heating pad, after the shot I stretch for about 10 minutes that seems to work so I'm going to make that part of my PIO routine.
Great news so far!! Sending you all sticky thoughts and can't wait to hear your updates.

Congrats @mackorori and @italianmommy8 ! so happy to see so many positives! I was originally on the January ivf board. Lots of us did fresh transfers and no one really had success..!
My LH surge apparently started yesterday. On the phone, they said transfer is sometime btwn Friday and Sunday. I find out more today or tomorrow. I secretly wouldn’t mind if it’s Sunday- that way I can skip the public transportation voyage to see the in laws in NJ on Sunday for easter lol (we live in the city w/o a car). but seriously, the sooner the better..
@somewhereinnyc that's great that it's coming up so soon for you! You did a natural cycle as well, right? Did they tell you if you'd have to go PIO shots or any medications after the transfer?

@Tulips29 yep, natural cycle FET for me. I am taking progesterone suppositories starting the morning after transfer day. I think just once a day (?) but I’ll ask closer to transfer. Do you have an estimate of when your transfer is?
Thanks for the support everyone. My beta was negative. You win some and you lose some. I’ve made peace with it and I’m spending the day with my family. My intuitive toddler has been extra loving today
We’re taking a month off to save some money before our next transfer. I’ll come back here from time to time to check on you ladies and cheer you on, but I’m definitely needing an emotional break. I hope everyone else gets positives this month

I will be out of state on Friday so can’t go for blood work two days after my first beta so I called my doctors office this morning. They told me to come tomorrow for my first beta and then the second one on Thursday!
@wifeinraleigh28 so sorry to hear that. Keep your chin up tho- hopefully next transfer will be a success. And try looking into other clinics in your area!
@Isthisthereallife ha! That’s fair about patience level corresponding to beta results 😬🤣

I just got the call ladies- my transfer is this Friday (!) we are transferring 2 untested blastocysts if all goes according to plan. Happy bc it’s less waiting and my doc will probably be able to do it herself.. I just found some Passover cooking/ baking recipes to get myself through the day after transfer.. and it looks like Sunday I will be traveling for easter.

@mackorori Awesome 2nd beta results!
@somewhereinnyc woohoo! Best of luck for transfer!
@Tulips29 hope transfer happens soon. Waiting is the worst! Feels like that’s all we do in this whole process!
Just waiting out the next 13 days until ultrasound on 4/29. I took another pregnancy test yesterday to make sure he/she (or they!) are still snug in my lining. Still positive!
