@wifeinraleigh28 just got back from the clinic and there's not much progress to report. He saw one small follicle and not much else. I go back on Friday for another scan and possibly a final check mid-next week. After that he will switch me to a medicated cycle if there's still no progress. On one hand I know I can't do anything about it but on the other hand I'm just so tired of waiting! I was so set on having an April transfer and it's not looking likely at this point if there's still no progress by next week How are you feeling?

wifeinraleigh28 I hope you're right! I don't remember it ever feeling like this the last go around. To your point, I think we just got used to it and forgot. Hoping I can stop waddling soon! How are you feeling? I'm always so impressed with people who don't test early. I swear I don't have that kinda willpower.

Tulips29 Are you going to try the acupuncture? I had a friend from this board (@jamieh2000) who did and thought it was helpful!

@Isthisthereallife I'm thinking about it. I've been researching some fertility acupuncture practices in the area so once I narrow it down I might try it. You'd think I wouldn't be scared of needles at this point, but the though of a bunch of needles sticking out of me is freaking me out a bit too.

I have waited to jump in because I have needed to have a little mental distance this time. I started my FET cycle on Saturday with an intended 4/25 transfer. This is my last PGS normal embryo from my second retrieval, and I am desperate for it to work this time. I am doing estradiol patches this time, just to do something a little different. I don’t want to expose you all unwarned to my story, so here it is in the spoiler, with a loss trigger warning:
Lay fall, I had two untested embryos left over from a previous cycle and decided to do a new retrieval and test all embryos. My two previous ones did not survive the biopsy, and I got one normal femal embryo out of my retrieval. That FET was a chemical pregnancy and very early loss with extreme unexplained non-menstrual bleeding. I immediately went into a new retrieval and got two more PGS normal embryos, also both girls. My FET in January resulted in low, slow betas that eventually started doubling, heartbeat detected, and then loss at 6.5 weeks. It took two D&Cs to remove all the tissue so my hcg could finally start to fall. My cycle started about a week earlier than expected but we were able to line everything up for an earlier FET.
Hi @ittybittybug-2! I hear you on needing some mental distance...this process is exhausting and mentally/physically draining. I hope you get your little miracle this time around!

Thank you all for the well wishes for my transfer yesterday! I need to catch up and reply to your updates!
I had monitoring on Sunday morning - my lining was 9mm!!! Never had it this thick before, last transfer was 7mm! My progesterone was above 60 and estrogen was 282 (day before transfer). Nurse said they stop checking progesterone if it’s highed than 60 and they like to see estrogen above 100. Last cycle I was at 500+ for estrogen and only in the 30s for progesterone.
Had a big cyst on each ovary they said was normal from ovulating. Received my instructions on time to arrive for transfer, take the metrogel tonight before bed, continue PIO shots 1ml, take last dose of deoxycycline tonight. Tomorrow morning (day of transfer) take Estrace (start taking it twice a day), prenatal and continue on PIO shots 1ml, take suppository at 11am prior to transfer.
Yesterday was transfer day, we transferred 1 embryo grade 5BA (our last embryo that has an A grade in it, others are now BBs). Got the McDonalds French fries after like last time, fluffy socks, stay hydrated, are pineapples on my pizza last night and rested the rest of the day.
I am back at work today and go in tomorrow morning for blood work. Beta is scheduled for Wednesday 4/17. If my estrogen is above 200 then will stop the Estrace tomorrow. (Last month it dropped from 500 to 30, my doctor admitted last week they made a mistake that contributed to the miscarriage last cycle but not directing me to take the Ovidel shot to cause ovulation before the transfer).
@ittybittybug-2 welcome to our group, I'm so sorry to hear about your prior FET. I also had only one normal embryo, so I understand how that can be stressful. Here's hoping for the best this month!
@italianmommy8 glad to hear everything went well yesterday. I would be so livid hearing my doc say they made a mistake last time, do you have any recourse against them? Obviously you can't get back the emotional toll this takes, but maybe at least your money back?
Well, everything looked good today and my lining is at an 8. I was really hoping for a better lining but there's nothing I can do. My thyroid level did get within range so I am happy about that!
@ellis1983 That's good thinking! I really hope I will be able to hold out until beta day. April 29th! @italianmommy8 I'm glad your transfer went well! I have my fx that your little embryo is getting comfy!! (: I'm sorry about your previous embryo transfer experience. I can't imagine. Did you do Lupron shots during your FET cycle? I'm not sure my clinic has me doing a trigger shot.
@crookshanks10 we really do seem to be on the same timeline. My ultrasound is tomorrow to check lining and see next steps. Hope yours went well today!!
@italianmommy8 Glad that everything went well with your transfer yesterday! Don't worry too much about the embryo grade. The embryo that resulted in my daughter was a 3BB
@Tulips29 Ugh, I'm sorry about the lack of progress. I'm frustrated for you! I'm the worst at waiting for anything so I can't imagine how tough that must be. Hope there won't be any more delays for you!
@ittybittybug-2 So sorry about your previous losses. Although I haven't been through what you have, I understand the desperation just because we are out of pocket for everything. If this FET doesn't work I don't even know if we could afford another one. And back when we were doing our retrieval, that was the only shot we had financially. This whole process is just so stressful.

Wow @ellis1983 way to rock that first beta! And for getting our group off to this amazing start! Will they do another beta in 2 days or are you just going in for your ultrasound on the 29th? So excited for you! Enjoy EVERY moment of this!! You've earned it!
AFM: Ladies, I am exhausted. It was so hard to come in to work today. I don't know if this is the hormones or what but this is the most exhausted I've felt in a long time. I've also been experiencing some slight cramping and trying not to read into everything. Still have 5 more days until beta. I forgot how long this 2ww is! @mackorori How are you holding up?!

Estrogen 736 - too high stop taking estrogen pills immediately She said it can affect the placenta but it’s so early so it shouldn’t be an issue only started taking the estrogen pills the morning of the transfer (Monday) today is Wednesday. Continue taking PIO shot at night and go back on Wed for beta!
@wifeinraleigh28 this wait feels like forever! I might cave tomorrow or Friday (official beta is Saturday). I'm having mild cramping, headaches and sore breasts and while I know it can be a good sign, I think it can also be from the progesterone so I try not to read into any of it either.
@mackorori I'm trying so hard not to read into every little thing too, it's SO hard! I've been trying to cope with this cognitively, and trying to make peace with either result to lessen the blow if it's a negative on Monday, but I know I'll probably fall apart anyway. This stuff is just so stressful! I hope we both get BFPs!

How many days did you all have to wait until your first beta? My clinic said mine would be 12 days after transfer!! I feel like that's a long time haha.
It is a 5 day embryo! Day 9 is on a Friday so I wonder if it's delayed because 10 days falls on a weekend? I'm going to ask because that's a long time to suffer not knowing!
hey ladies, little update - went in yesterday for my lining check and was at 6 - they wanted me to be at 7 so I am upping my estrace to 6 pills a day rather than 4. However, NO MORE LUPRON! i'm very excited as it sucked so much for me, i don't know why but my body didn;t like it. Going back in Saturday for another check!
AFM went in for another ultrasounds and blood work this morning. Estrogen is in the 800's, progesterone is good and low (her words, they didn't give me a number), and my lining is measuring around 7.3. We're a green light to go through with transfer on the 18th! We're planning to transfer one 4AA embryo! I start PIO shots Saturday and I'm so damn scared! Lol!
@sadubey Glad you got the green light! The 18th will be here before you know it. Don't worry too much about the PIO. Yes I was sore the first few days but now I feel nothing and they're a piece of cake!
@mackorori I'm holding off too! Sometimes I'm tempted but I think I'm just going to wait until beta on Monday. I'm too scared to take a test and it be negative. I'd rather hear it from my clinic!

Lol!
@dreamingofbabyb @sadubey glad to hear things are moving along for both of you. Transfer day will be here before you know it
@mackorori I'm holding off too! Sometimes I'm tempted but I think I'm just going to wait until beta on Monday. I'm too scared to take a test and it be negative. I'd rather hear it from my clinic!
