Ugh! Raw potatoes are the worst! After my parents got divorced my dad tried making us dinner - one of which included sliced raw potatoes. He yelled at me to eat them and then they came right back up

. I honestly didn't eat any sort of potatoes for years and still to this day will avoid them, including french fries!

@kiki047 DH will steal a piece while I'm making dinner which is usually cut into cubes. He doesn't just pull one out of the pantry to munch on 😆 if he did... I might have some thinking to do about this relationship. Jk lol

@inthewoods23 ok that's slightly less weird, lol. My weird Korean uncle used to eat raw onions like an apple. Soemtimes I think he just did it to gross us (kids) out but the fact still remained that he chewed and swallowed it without batting an eye.

I am snacking on dry frosted mini wheats while reading this! 🤣 Does anyone else remember getting the mini boxes of cereal as a special treat on vacation? I used to save the Corn Pops and Apple Jacks for last.

@kiki047 on the rare occasion we've just had onion (cut up into small slices) take a bath in butter.... Nothing more American than having something just bathe in butter for a few minutes 😆

I’m completely off cereal right no bc my diet is anti-milk and sugar. Ugh, now I want to eat a whole box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

And i totally judge anyone willing to eat potatoes raw. Yikes.

@kiki047 I eat them raw! It’s a thing with my dad’s side of the family. I was the only one of my siblings that does it, though lol.

@mercury94 Could you do, like, cashew milk? I don't really enjoy regular milk so I just sub cashew milk for everything, and it's good w/ cereal. Can't help w/ the sugar side of things tho!

@emeraldduchess Yes! And when we were camping, we did the thing where you open the box sideways with the perforations and pour the milk right into the box/bag and eat it. Corn Pops are so gross, though. Luckily my sister liked them.

Guys... seriously.... I was so worried I got behind so much in my 14 hours of not checking the randoms

luckily those almost 70 NEW posts were all about cereal! Lol
-grape nuts are the best
-Cheerios are bland
-raisin bran crunch.. yum
- Corn Pops are disgusting
- Reese’s puff..mmmm
-captain crunch you have to wait JUST the right amount of time in milk for edibility. There must be some perfect math equation out there for it!

raw potato has got to be better than raw onion but I would guess not as good as raw pasta:)

I am trapped in my car on a conference call that will. not. end. The person running the call has a voice that just drones on and on, and it’s hard to pay attention (clearly, as I’m here). Plus I have to pee.

@phoebe828 Sometimes I have to do conference calls in my car with a group of people that have to ask questions that no one cares about. The calls usually take at least an hour. I put everyone on mute and run errands. I buy coffee, get gas, etc. I don't even feel bad about it anymore.

@NYTino24 - hahaha, you should start the meeting by addressing that. "Before we get to *my* performance I think there's something we ALL know needs to be addressed....meetings that get in the way of my snacks."

@kiki047 - fusilli and elbow noodles are the best I think...angel hair spaghetti is also good. I've never done dry ramen!

I am muted and I typically do run errands and do whatever during con calls. But I also need to charge my iPad so I’m trying to stick it out.

My company, when we have all employee meetings, asks that everybody mute their phones and every time I'm like "why don't they know that the presenter person can choose to mute everybody themselves?!?" Just UGH. It annoys me so much!

@inthewoods23 Devil's advocate on self-muting versus them muting you: if you mute yourself, you can unmute yourself voluntarily to speak, but if they mute you, then only they can unmute you. At least with the conference call system we use, anyway.

This could potentially go in the "You know you're TTGP when..." thread but I ordered a sample of Preseed online, and it never came so I bought some on Amazon. Just got both shipment notifications so they're probably both going to arrive today, meanwhile I probably ovulated yesterday. Hrmph.

@kiki047 Haha! It's good stuff! We use it as lubricant (even during TWW period). Just be careful not to use too much (it is crazy slippery)! The suggested amount is a bit too much!
