  • @chichiphin - Thanks for the rabbit hole!
  • There has been a lot of talk about starting a “what does a positive opk look like” thread. Do we need to vote? Can we set up a poll?
  • @keikilove do you wanna do the poll? I can do it as wel

I did laser tag (second highest score) and Velcro wall jumping on our field trip yesterday. Loved that they had an employee who was an awesome guy that has DS.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • Would the OPK pics be allowed by the BGs?
  • @chichiphin idk if you meant to tag me or not. I have no clue how to set up a poll so feel free. @marebear15 brings up a good point about the pics. Is that something we can get approved?
  • @NYTino24 that sounds so fun! I’ve always wanted to do the sticky wall!
  • It's hard to get BGs to respond to anything, so maybe we could make the poll, tag the BG and hope for the best?
  • @marebear15 it’s worth a shot!
  • @b_1029 Switch to only Lyft! I cancelled my Uber account awhile ago. The Lyft drivers tend to be better bc they want that tip, in my experience. I can't believe the audacity of this dude--and of the company not being understanding. Both would be enough to infuriate me as well!

@inthewoods23 LOL that you have to click one star to get 0 stars, but I like the image.
  • @kagesstarshroom lol yes that bugged me about the picture but it was the best I could do for 0 stars!

@chichiphin Thanks for asking. Please do go ahead and create the poll if you don’t mind, I’m still getting caught up on whatever I’ve missed over the last few days and I do want to post an update for you all on Locust Medicus consultation so you know that will be a novel from me LOL.

  • Ahhhhhh @shamrocandroll, she's so precious! <3<3
  • @shamrocandroll - My brother's gf/my coworker and I were just commiserating over how we'd never get to see it in person. It's such a historical piece of art!
  • @shamrocandroll My heart just broke a little reading that. How devastating.
  • @shamrocandroll so devastated right now, I'm just following this life from work. I had the opportunity to see it, now I realize how lucky that was <3
  • @shamrocandroll I was about to come on here to let yall know about Notre Dame in case you hadn't seen yet.  I can't stop watching the NBC news broadcast. MH agrees w/ the spokesperson who said nothing from the frame is likely to remain (MH does restoration carpentry/construction). I heard they were trying to save some of the interior art/artefacts, but I hope that there are no casualties (there are none reported yet.) Wild--and the day after Palm Sunday, too!
  • @kagesstarshroom Isn't there a giant organ in there that was the oldest working organ, or one of the oldest at least?  So much history!  So sad!!!  :(

  • I just turned on the news and like the whole
roof is gone 😱. How incredibly sad and all that history is just gone 😭.
  • I'm watching it now, the spire is gone. :(  I was fortunate to see Notre Dame in high school, such a beautiful place.  Do they have any idea what caused it at this point?
  • @shamrocandroll Yes, they just redid the organ after like WWII or something--oo I found a site that tells the organ's history, they "fully electrified" it in the 1950s. Also: isn't living in 2019 wild? That we can watch such a monumental piece of architecture/history/culture burn to the ground from so far away?
  • :'( so sad. I had always hoped to see it one day!

@shamrocandroll came to say how adorable your puppy is! But then went from "aww" to heartbreak reading about NotreDame! How tragic! Guess I'll never get to see it either 😥
