@inthewoods23@brookert615 omg that reminds me of this past mardi gras, i went to get gas, and since we'd just been on vacay, i only had one of my random credit cards w/ me and like, Jamaican dollars haha. yeah and the card wouldn't go thru for gas! so we tried, like, increments smaller and smaller until i finally was like "....i'm gonna go get some quarters from my car and put, like, whatever amount of gas that will get my in my totally empty tank." which was SEVENTY-FIVE CENTS OF GAS lolol. Anyway, there was no one around waiting, but i was still mortifiedddd. turns out there was a hold on my credit card bc of the vacay/weird purchases being made in weird places, but it was a super shitty way to find that out lol.
@inthewoods23 bahaha I have two work husbands. One of them I think I'm more like his work-mom, except that he's close to 20 years older than me haha. I just feed him and occasionally loan him bus money. The other one I don't actually work with but I sit on a committee with him. I just keep him in line, and have saved his ass a few times with his boss. He calls me his "next" wife (ok maybe that's crossing the line a little).

@marebear15 That's what I kept saying! And they did text me, but it was too late when they texted me. It was confused bc I'd just been in Miami Beach spending credit & then the gas station was one that puts a hold on yr account for $100 no matter how much $ you spend & my card was like "waittt a second, suspicious," but by the time I got the texts (for EVERY amount the gas station tried to make lol) I'd already spent the 75 cents. -_- I guess on the plus side, I didn't run out of gas?
@shamrocandroll I love Waffles for a puppy. Orla is pretty too. You have to think of how it's going to sound when you are yelling at the dog or calling it from across the yard. That's why my friend didn't name her dog "Whiskey" because she realized how it sounded if she was outside yelling it!
I ate Oreo o’s cereal for dinner and it was so worth it. I feel like I now need to go and buy a box of each cereal I missed out on when I was a kid. Reese’s puff cereal is up next.
My parents are going to a wine and taco festival today and I am so ridiculously jealous and bitter about this. I made sure and tell them that if they loved me they would bring me fish tacos.
This should've been my FFFC: While we were NTNP, I would totally stalk the peggies via google searches w/ similar questions--but I never posted! And I wrote a poem about the sadness of all their lines of questioning lol bc that women seem to know so little about the capabilities and capacities of their bodies is just... sad? And I also was like "man, I am LIKE these ppl," too haha bc I was googling and they were what was coming up. Anyway, if the poem ever gets published I might offer to share it. For now, it sits in a folder, waiting.
@shamrocandroll - Ooh Orla is pretty! I know someone with a pup named Orla. Did DH shoot those ones down?
@holly321 - your parents know how to do a Saturday.
@kagesstarshroom - haha I'm a writer but not a poet and I've been kicking around the idea of writing something about that same thing! I thought I was in tune with my body before TTC but NOPE! I knew nothing.
@kagesstarshroom -I'm sure you're poem is a masterpiece. My ridiculously long response this morning came from a saved doc that will probably be used again. I dont know how you ladies use that gif response.
@spacemountaineer The one time I responded earnestly and firmly but kindly to a Peggy and was super nervous but then proud afterwards, the post got deleted before I could copy/paste the wonderful way I put things! Glad yours is saved.
@whitealbum29 I am all sorts of ready for the spring semester to be over so I can pitch some pieces about TTC and TTCAL and maybe do some freelance work over the summer spreading the good word & also doing what I do best--words. I mostly identify as a poet, but I feel like writers... write... all sorts of writing. haha.
@kagesstarshroom I'd love to read your work as well. I dabble in poetry a bit, but I haven't written in a VERY long time! I'm WAY too shy to share with anyone!

Anyone else having trouble with the TWW on mobile? Trying to do tags and can’t even reply now. It just shows the OP.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@kels0091 I’ve had it years ago and really enjoyed some of the features. I just recently got it again and haven’t used it much. If you have specific items that you are wondering about let me know and I may be able to do screen shots for ya.
@kels0091 - another one for ff VIP. I got it when it went one sale. You can freeze your account when you get pregnant or want to take a break from ttgp. I really liked that.
Anyone else amazed that this thread already has 220+ posts only one week into the month of April? I'm somewhat hoping this thread reaches 1k by the end of the month.

@kbrown2385 - Sounds like we had the same childhood. My favorite cereals were plain Cheerios and Corn Flakes (not frosted).
@kels0091 - I had FF VIP for a month when I got someone else to sign up for it, and I didn't think it was worth the money. There's a lot of extra information you can look at and compare charts and stuff, but it doesn't help you get pregnant, just go crazy.
@marebear15 and @kbrown2385 - haha same childhood over here. My parents convinced us that Honey Nut Cheerios were a legitimate "special treat" kind of cereal, usually it was corn flakes and Crispix and shredded wheat.
@kbrown2385@whitealbum29 Were you ever subjected to Grape Nuts? It was like tiny rocks before a milk soak, and like chunks of cardboard after the milk.
