Sigh...Andy will only eat cheerios...can a 13 month old (11.5 months adjusted) grow on just cheerios and formula? The crocodile tears and mush flung on my floors and walls have me at a loss. Meanwhile Matthew eats like at champ and looks at his brother like he's crazy too. Please tell me this is a phase and it too shall pass...
@knuttyplus2 maybe it’s a texture thing. Declan won’t eat anything mashed and only wants what we are eating. I have tried to feed him oatmeal a few times and he just gags.
@knuttyplus2 or maybe an independence thing? Vinny mostly eats finger foods and only puree stuff if she can put the spoon in her mouth herself. Funny how different you're two are! But if he's still taking formula, I wouldn't worry.
@knuttyplus2 I was gonna say the exact same things @megpeg and @fatstagnation said! And adding on to the independence idea, maybe it could be a food-source thing too? By which I mean: sometimes Nora wants to feed herself off her high chair tray, sometimes she wants us to feed her from her bowl, sometimes she will only eat if we're feeding her straight from our own plates - as was the case last night, despite the fact we were eating exactly what she was eating lol.
Vinny wants anything crunchy. I guess cause she sees/hears us eating, and she's really into toast. (Papa eats toast for breakfast most days.) So I was thinking maybe your LOs would eat thing like PB crackers, avocado toast...maybe you could mach a banana or strawberries or something onto toast? Dip it into soup and red sauce? Otherwise...how hard are kale chips? lol
So I caved and gave Nate a blanket.... He's been waking up shivering every morning. We don't even keep our house cold so I don't know why, but I had to give him one. Now I'm terrified.
