Hi everyone! I’m brand new to pregnancy and the Bump. 5 weeks yesterday, first pregnancy! DH and I have been married 9 years, haven’t been trying per se, but haven’t been preventing, either, for three years! First OB appointment isn’t for three more weeks but looks like EDD is 10/15 - two days before our 10th wedding anniversary! We’re excited, but aware I’m high-risk (35, high blood pressure) and so are trying not to get TOO excited until out of the first trimester. We’ve got two fur babies (rescue pups), and I work a really high-stress job in the nonprofit sector. We are very strictly not telling anyone other than parents and siblings until the second trimester, so you guys here are going to be a lifesaver for me! Excited to get to know you.

Hi Mamas! My name is Amber and have two amazing boys Evan (7) and Brennan (3). My EDD is Oct 19th. I have never had a fall baby so I can’t wait to deal with the summer heat with all of you. I live in IL so the hot sun sounds pretty good right now 😂. Reading all of your posts about the struggles with TTC makes me want to spread baby dust on all you mamas! Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
Hello!!!! My name is Danielle and I am proud to say I am officially pregnant with our rain ow baby!!!!! -The reason I said like that is because Monday I went in to get a proof of pregnancy and they did an ultrasound and didn't see anything so told me it was probably an ectopic pregnancy and don't expect it to go any further... My levels were 138. I left there crying and questioning why. Well I went back today and I'm proud to say that my levels are at 4:29! ❤️🤰🏼🌈
Hi all, just got a positive FRER today at 10dpo! Had squinters at 8 and 9dpo, but the digital FRER was negative yesterday. I'm due Oct.28th ant this will be my third. I have one of each. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Hello! I woke up this past Monday (2/11) feeling really swollen and heavy in my boobs....which automatically made think "Um, am I pregnant??"....I tested on 2/12 and got 3 positives. We are shocked but so excited. I hadn't even given pregnancy a thought until my boob dilemma on Monday and we still are not sure when we conceived, haha!
This will be baby #4. I have two boys and a girl already....we have always wanted 4 children were originally planning on taking a breather before trying again (my husband is in the process of starting a new business and we are moving this summer!), but we are still over the moon! Now trying to mentally prepare myself to be the mom of a big family!
Son 4/27/12, Son 10/15/14, Daughter 9/29/16....Baby #4 due 10/09/19! Apparently we get really bored in January
I've been lurking for a few weeks as I'm nervous to actually introduce myself prior to my first appointment (2/25) - but hi! I'm 6 weeks today with an EDD of 10/10. We haven't told family and friends yet.
My husband and I have been married nearly 8 years and have an amazing almost three year old girl - let me be real...she has been a total trick baby/toddler. This one will be a complete tazmanian devil that won't sleep for ten years 😬 I'm convinced and properly terrified.
I'm an Accountant and really enjoy my job and employer. I actually do work for twelve companies, and there are a few other companies under the same big owner family that I don't do much for outside of general banking stuff. There are always a lot of moving parts, but it keeps things from being too Groundhog Day-like.
Hello! I am FTM, due late October. A girlfriend recommended this community and I am so thankful! I have been reading through all the posts during my waiting period and it’s wonderful to see so many women with so many different experiences to share. I believe I am 5weeks and I am anxiously waiting for my appointment tomorrow afternoon to confirm the at home test. Also - I don’t know why my user name is so weird... in the rest of the app it’s mossy82. Lol

Hi! My first was also a trick baby/toddler. My second is the taz in the flesh. I promise it’ll be okay once you get past the gross part 😆
Hi, everyone! I'm so excited to join a community of other pregnant women, especially considering that none of my friends that live near me are pregnant or have children. My EDD is October 15, and DH and I could not be more excited! This is my first pregnancy, so I'm feeling pretty nervous, and can't wait until my first OBGYN appointment on March 13. I'll be at 9 weeks then, and it's the earliest appointment I was able to get.
A little about me: I'm an airline pilot by profession, so that will make things a little tricky later on in my pregnancy. Most women go on medical (followed by maternity leave) by the 6th or 7th month. I haven't figured out my tentative date to leave or talked with my employer yet about my pregnancy, so I'm feeling a little nervous about it. I don't know of a single other pilot at my airline that has been pregnant during her time here. In my free time, I love traveling, hiking, and camping with DH and friends. We love exploring new cultures, and it's our hope that our child will be a well traveled one!
In any case, I'm so glad to be part of this community, and look forward to progressing through pregnancy with all of you!
@cmbt2 my standard answer to all of the "when will you have another" questions has always been that you don't get two like her - we never even had to baby proof anything! She's just so ridiculously good. I've been assured by a few moms that they lucked out twice so fingers crossed!
Hi! I just got a BFP yesterday, and I’m excited to join this group even though it’s super early. My EDD is 10/25. I have an 18 month old daughter and was active on the July 17 board. I met a lot of awesome women during my last pregnancy and I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you.
@kfarr26 My son is the same way. Never baby proofed bc it we told him not to do something he’d listen. He’s 3 1/2 now and has developed a bit of an attitude at times but all in all is such a good kid. Fully expecting this one to be a hell raiser and give me gray hairs
👋🏻👋🏻 Hi new friends. I took a test this morning and very much to my surprise it was positive! I have two kids already. A 3 year old daughter and a 15 month old son. Super surprise baby because I have the Paragard IUD! 😬 DH and I had always said we wanted 3 but I got an IUD after DS was born. We actually were very happy with our 2 and were done! Apparently God has other plans for us. 😄 I’m sure the IUD will make me high risk but I’d like to jump right in anyway because I was so close with my other BM group! I have calls into the OB (who placed my IUD) and the midwife who delivered DS but were still waiting to hear back from everyone. By my calculations I should be due around October 18th but we’ll see what the doctor says. I guess I’m just along for this wild ride!
@ceclarlinetlo oh my gosh! That’s crazy! I have had a period every month until this one so I don’t think I’d be any farther along than about 5 weeks but seeing as I am pregnant which an IUD I guess anything can happen!
Only it's the draaaaama and stubberness from mine. She will legit growl at us if she's annoyed (I can't even get mad because she definitely got this from me 🤭), but she also will just totally break over the smallest things. Not a tantrum. A deep hurt in her soul 😂 poor thing will gasp in between the tears "You... made... me... *sad*!" It's so pitiful!
We just have to let her work through her feelings when she gets like that - she's very reasonable once she snaps out of it and apologizes on her own and everything 🤷
Hi everyone!!! We are absolutely thrilled to finally be able to announce that we are pregnant! After 6 years of trying, two IVF cycles, one chemical pregnancy, countless needles, pills, and doctors appointments, we saw our little snowflake’s heartbeat on Monday at 5.5 weeks! So far no morning sickness, just lots of pelvic pressure/cramping along with sooooo much fatigue! Haha. Hoping everyone is well and I look forward to getting to know you on this incredible journey we are so lucky to be on!
@kfarr26 i'm equally as terrified for the second! First one was so easy, slept good. Although she's stubborn as can be, she's a pretty good kid and was the easiest baby.
Hello everyone - I am brand new to the site - well I joined Sunday and wasn't allowed to post until today. I think I got all rules/guidelines down:).
Me & DH: 37 Married: Sept 2017 TTC since: Sept/Oct 2018 MC: Nov 2018 BFP: Feb 3 2019 EDD: Oct 12 2019
We are house hunting and hopefully will find one this spring and be able to get a dog and/or cat. I work in clinical trial data management which keeps me busy and stressed. My main reason for joining was to hopefully meet ppl going through similar experiences as well as hopefully managing my anxiety for PGAL.
Hi! I'm a FTM, EDD is 10/10, and I just turned 32 in December. My husband and I started trying last August. We got pregnant in October and had a miscarriage late November at 6 weeks. So this is my second pregnancy and I'm currently at 6 weeks and 1 day today. I'm very nervous because of the miscarriage, but all of my tests have come back strong and I've had way more symptoms than I did before. So I'm trying to stay positive and keep all my fingers and toes crossed! We live in Charlotte, NC and have 3 cats and a dog. We are also in the process of preparing to tear down our house and build a new one so that and our jobs keep up busy!

I'm cautiously joining you all and hope I get to stay! I'm due 10/22 with my third (and final) babe. I have a 6 year old DD and an almost 2 year old DS. We're in NJ and looking forward to adding another to our crazy house. I was active on my June 17' board so excited for this one as well!
Hi everyone! I’m Anne, from WI and I’m due with my second on 10/3! It took us 10mo to get pregnant with our son so we were surprised it took no time at all for our second! Excited for my appt. today but super nervous as I had the pregnancy from hell before. Pre eclampsia at 26 weeks and bed rest for 11 along with gd. Hoping and praying it’s not the case with this one because I can’t imagine being in bed rest with a toddler!!?! Happy to be on this journey will you all!
Hi all, cautiously optimistic I get to join this group. Positive test last Monday - should be due 10/25. This is my hopefully rainbow pregnancy. Late loss in the second trimester last year... baby had severe intrauterine growth restriction bc my body recognized the placenta & attacked it. I am now considered high risk with immune issues so have already started Lovenox, baby aspirin and plaquenil (drug for lupus). Fingers & toes crossed that this is it!
@junebabyh yes! Shocked is an understatement! I have loved mine up until this point. Lol. Every story I’ve ever heard of someone getting pregnant with an iud, they never checked their strings to make sure it was still in place. I check mine regularly so I could hardly believe it. Still don’t! 😬
Im new here... Im a second time mom. I have a 4 year old (he turns 4 next week). Im 38. I dont really understand the "lingo" here, so bear with me... I was on the knot and nest years ago when I was getting/got married in 2005. Im very "hands on" with my son, though I work full time in an office. I am due (according to my own calculations) on October 8th which happens to also be my 14th wedding anniversary. I crossfit, I did for all 42 weeks with my son and hope to do that again this time around (but I could do without the 42 weeks... and stick with 40 this time).
Hello everyone! I’m new to thebump. Been lurking for a few days and now finally can join in the conversations. I am 33 years old. This is my second pregnancy. My husband and I have been together for 12 years, happily married for 8 years. We have a amazing 4 year old daughter. I was home with her since birth and am very grateful to have that time with her. She is now in preschool for a couple hours a day. I started serving at a restaurant three nights a week a few months ago. I’m going to continue to work as long as my body lets me. I believe I am 5 weeks along. I have a ultrasound appointment March 5th. Looking forward to chatting with you all.
Hi! I’m a STM due on October 6th and live in NJ. We just found out last week and have an appointment scheduled with my OB next week (he’s on vacation of course ha). I have a 2 year old (born in December 2016) and I’m so in love with her (so dealing with those emotions of her not being the only anymore and the how it will be with 2 and how can I love more than 1)
I work PT (so now we have to navigate if me working makes sense). My SO is great and has been so supportive since I told him.
Hi all! I am mom of 3 and officially as of today 4 weeks and 1 day with a little belly buddy due October 24th. The difference between all of you and me is that when BB is born I will not be taking him/her home. I will be sending them home with their momma and daddy as I am a gestational carrier. I loved my birth boards for my own kids so thought I would se how/if I fit in here. My kids are 6, 4 and 2 and I knew I wanted to be a GS after my middle was born. I’m looking forward to this journey and helping my IP’s (intended parents) grow their family.
