Got my BFP Monday, due Oct 7. First time mother here and hoping everything goes well. Its nerve racking waiting. Exciting to go on this journey with you ladies and you can help keep me sane.
I share your concerns @mamabee1128 and @daralynk with adding number 2 - my house is already a circus!
Psst, guys. I promise it’s going to be okay. Going from 0 to 1 was way, way more difficult than 1 to 2.
Hi pot, it’s me, kettle. I spent my entire pregnancy with DS2 freaking about adding a second kid and what it would do to DS1’s world. I really didn’t need to worry. They’re 27 months apart and the best of friends now. By 6 months, DS1 was the best big brother you could ask for.

I've definitely heard some folks say 0-1 was hardest, some folks say 1-2 was hardest, and some folks say 2-3 was hardest. (Of the few parents I know with more than 3, they have all said that after you get used to 3, you can do anything, ROFL) I think it mostly comes down to the personality of the kid(s) in question, LOL. For us, 0-1 was harder, too, in most ways!
Since we're on the 2-3 step, I'm mostly worried about the fact that we're gonna be outnumbered after this, LOL. No more "each adult picks one child and we can do anything we have to"!

Hi everyone! Im Jordan. My EDD is October 14th. I live on Long Island with my husband almost 4yo son (March 2015) and 2yo daughter (December 2016). We have a dog named Charlie and a cat named Bootsy Calico. This babe will complete our family 💙💗
Hello, first time mom here, AMA, I just turned 36. EDD October 4. I got married last summer, and my DH and I started TTC right away. I'm a kindergarten teacher in Canada, and I'm hoping to make it to the end of the school year (end of June for us) without any problems.
hi y’all, congratulations on your bfps! i received mine this weekend after trying for the past couple of months, with an edd of 10/14. this will be our second, and also my second bmb! my aug16 group was & still is an incredibly supportive, close-knit group of mamas and i learned so much. looking forward to doing this again, and so excited for everyone~
Hi everyone! I'm optimistically jumping in with 2 feet here as I just found out today and it's still really early 💚 I'm due Oct 13th per ovulation, my cycles are long, so LMP doesn't do me any good lol This is my second pregnancy, my son was born August 16. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats and a few fish. We're actually in the process of selling our house and buying our new forever home 🤞🏼 I stay busy with my 2yr old, my small shop and working on our home 💚
omg girl we’re in the same bmb again! i’m so ecstatic for your darling lil family!

OMG so much this. For me 0-1 was not as hard as 1-2 and I hope 2-3 is not as daunting as I picture it to be sometimes.

I’m starting to think you all blocked out the newborn stage. 😂 2nd time around, we knew the “tricks” we had to learn and figure out the first time around, despite him being a miserable colicky baby 🤷🏼♀️
Hello everyone! My name is Asiyah and my EDD is 10/7. This will be baby number 4 for me, but baby number one for DH. I have 3 children from my previous marriage ages 19, 13 & 10. I’m so excited and looking forward to the next 8mos. 😊

Naaaah. DD1 was an amazingly easy baby (STTN at 6 mos, only woke up 1x/night before that, etc). DD2 is headstrong and has been since birth. She still lands in our bed by 2am and getting her to stay in her bed is something I really don't want to tackle. Adding an assertive baby to a preschooler was a doozy.
Hi everyone! I’m Melanie, 32 (33 when baby is born), and this is my 3rd pregnancy. DS was born in July ‘15. My EDD based on my LMP is 10/11.
***TW loss*** I had a MMC in November 2017 at 11 1/2 weeks. It caused a lot of GI issues for me...I can no longer eat dairy or very acidic foods. I’m hoping this pregnancy will correct all that! (No clue if it’s likely but not having dairy sucks!)
Husband and I have been married for 5 1/2 years and in addition to our son we have a dog who is our fur baby. We live in PA. My hobbies are reading, watching movies and cooking. Excited to be here!
Hi! I’m due Oct 1st, this is my third baby. I have a 6 yr old and 3 yr old so life is already pretty busy and crazy so why not throw in one more. My goal is to just make it through the first trimester. I suffer from HG and somehow it gets worse with each pregnancy.
Hello ladies! I have read through everyone’s comments and I’m so happy to add mine to oct 19.
My DH and I have been TTC through infertility treatments since Jan 18. After 4 failed IUIs we moved on the IVF. Did the egg retrieval and ended up with 12 embryos. Had our first FET in December 18 that failed and moved straight into our second round in January. Had my FET on Jan 24th and the best news yesterday that we are finally pregnant!
This is our second with DS born in S16. I was semi active on the O16 board, had a premature baby with my little coming 5 weeks early. I’m unsure of EDD, but I think aroun Oct 16-17.
Hi everyone! I've lurked on The Bump for a lonnnng time but never joined the community. But, I got a BFP last Monday after 2 years of TTC. We had success with our second round of IUI. It's driving me crazy not being able to talk to anyone about it so I just had to join the boards! I'm 36 and have a pituitary tumor, SO is 38 with male factor - so our odds were pretty slim. We are incredibly excited but also incredibly nervous and scared since we are only five weeks along.
When I'm not obsessing on the various boards or staring at my daily "just checking" test, I love to cook, read, do yoga, and watch any and all kinds of sports. We have two fur babies of the feline variety who are spoiled absolutely rotten.
I'm so excited to get to know all of you and here's to all of us having a suuuuuper boring time of it over the next nine months!
Hello. My name is Jacqui. I just found out last week, that I’m going to be a STM!!! I’m still technically in the January 2018 BMB. It’s quite dead. I still check to see if anyone still post. Especially with all of our babies officially turning (or turned) ONE!!! So, in a way it’s nice to be back on a BMB. My sons name is Elliott and he will be 1 on February 14th (a little less than two weeks). Becoming a STM wasn’t much of a shock. I was just hoping for it to be a little later. Oh well, we’re super excited to welcome another child into our world and give our son a best friend (besides me) 😉. I’m also a SAHM. He’s my full time job and boy, he’s a lot of work. Keeps me on my toes all day, everyday! My first OB appointment won’t be until March 7th. Just a few more weeks until I can see my little jelly bean!
Had my FET on Jan 24th and the best news yesterday that we are finally pregnant!

Woo, another FET mama! Welcome, welcome! Here's hoping it's an easy and smooth pregnancy this go 'round.
If you did your transfer on the 24th: EDD: Oct 14 for a 3 day embryo EDD: Oct 12 for a 5 day blastocyst EDD: Oct 11 for a 6 day blastocyst

So much this. So far it's only SO and I (and the OB-Gyn receptionist) who know in real life. I've got the reveal all planned and am insanely excited when 12 weeks roll along.
Hi everyone! I’m jumping in here to help think positively and not stress so much. And maybe I can help offer some wisdom to others while I’m here. I got a positive test last week, which will make this baby number 4 for us! Yesterday I began having light spotting. First time ever for me. I went to the doctor and had my blood drawn, will go back again yesterday to check HCG levels and everything. It hasn’t been a copious amount, and other than that I feel normal, except for being on bedrest and having three kids 5 and under to still care for. Ugh.
Anyway, I’ve been a bump member for a long time. I wasn’t as active last pregnancy just because I was so busy with the kids. I’ve been married to my DH since 2012, our oldest son Troy was born in July 2013. Our daughter Talia was born in February 2016, and our youngest son Tiberius was born in September 2017. We didn’t intentially do the T naming trend, it just sort of happened that way haha. I’m a full time stay at home mom and I also homeschool. I had to be induced with each birth. I have EBF all 3 of my kids, I did a mix of cloth and disposable diapers, and I love Babywearing! Congrats to all you mamas and I hope you all have happy, healthy pregnancies.
Hi everyone! I participated in the TTC board briefly earlier this year (so happy to see some familiar names), as well as the June '19 BMB before suffering a loss this past fall. I wasn't ready to start trying again until the new year and I guess we got lucky on the first try. I got a BFP on Sunday right before going to a Super Bowl party. Still in a little bit of shock and afraid to talk about it out loud! EDD is 10/13.
I am 37 and DH is 38. We've been married just over five years and have two little guys. DS1 was born in May '15 and DS2 was born in June '17. This baby will hopefully complete our family. I work full time and live in the DC area. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. The support/info from these boards has always been so helpful.
Hello everyone! I’m MrsPlatz, am 28 and live in beautiful Colorado. I got my BFP on Monday and am dying to talk about it, so I turn to you ladies! My DH and I will be married for 7 years soon. We have a 1.5 year old boy. I was active with his birth month group (Aug17) and was excited to see there’s an Oct19 already going! I won’t see my OB until March, which seems forever away but at the moment I’m estimating a due date of 10/15. Excited for baby #2, I’ll just have to keep up with my toddler this time around! Ah!
getting to this baby 2 has been quite the journey. Jan was my second IUI and we are confirmed pregnant! DH and I are cautiously hopeful for a smooth healthy pregnancy as I’m 38. First early u/s will be next Friday.
I have one daughter (5yo) and a dog. Looking forward to telling her she’s gonna be a big sister soon.
Hi Everyone! My name is Jessie and I’m on my second pregnancy with an EDD of October 12th. I have an 18 month old boy named Jackson who is amazing in every way. My husband of 2 1/2 years John takes care of our family while I stay home with Jax. We just bought our first home in CT and are beyond excited to be blessed with another littl babe on the way. Just praying things go smoothly this time around. My pregnancy with Jax had many worries and angst along with it as several markers were found in utero including a brain abnormality (Jax is missing part of his corpus callosum) so we were basically told he may not walk or talk OR he could have minor learning difficulties. Pretty broad spectrum ... fast forward to his birth, he was also born with a right hand malformation which we did NOT know about. Anyway this boy is now 18 months , and has met ALL of his milestones despite a limb difference AND missing part of his brain. Anyway please keep me in your prayers that this pregnancy goes smoothly - and I’m so excited for all of you mommies as well! First ultrasound is 3/4.
Hi everyone! I’m still really early, but my EDD is 10/15. This will be my second pregnancy and first child - hoping this one sticks! Feeling optimistic! My husband and I are attorneys in Denver and have been married for two and a half years. We have an adorable Australian Shepherd named Atlas who is really sweet with the neighbor’s baby and toddler, so we’re hoping he’ll make a great big brother
When you get the chance, it might be a good idea to personalize your username. We can get a ton of "knottie" usernames with a hundred numbers afterwards and it's hard to keep up! You can update your username directly through The Bump app. Just
tap on your profile icon (in the right corner of the home screen), then tap on the edit icon next to your Username to make your change. Welcome and congrats!
