  • @Allycat11 Yay! So glad to see that baby is doing well and that the hematoma is gone!
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

How I feel all of the time.

Hi ladies! I have been mostly lurking up until now. This is my second preganancy almost 10 years in the making, conceived naturally. I Had my first ultrasound last week at 10+4. The doctor called this morning to say everything looked good except I have a cyst on the placenta so they want me to go back in 4 weeks for another ultrasound. Has anyone else had this happen? What were the results? I am (mostly) not freaking out at the moment although I have read they can cause problems later in the preganancy.

  • @simonssays2019 Your LO is adorable! And congratulations!
I don't have any experience to share in regards to the cyst in the placenta, but hopefully someone else here will and can share a reassuring story. I would guess if your doctor was ok with waiting a month, he/she doesn't think it is a major concern? I could be totally wrong, that's just what I would assume.

I did just want to say that you might want to crop out your name in the US, just in case. Stranger danger is real!

This was at 10w3d, now I'm at 12w,4d. My sweet rainbow baby😍
  • 11w+4d everything at our NT scan looked great

  • The ultrasound above is maybemaybemaybe's baby, I loaded it through my phone and must have had an old username from a previous pregnancy :/ How odd, I feel usurped by my previous identity.
  • First time posting in here. This is my 3rd pregnancy, and a rainbow baby. Went in Tuesday at 12w+3d. I loved seeing this little sweetie dancing around! Heartbeat 130... I've heard boys have lower heart rates in utero... We'll see!
  • 13 weeks, can’t wait for next scan in less than 2 weeks.

  • My ultrasound at 13 weeks when I went in for the NT scan! Had no idea that there are two in there !
  • Have you had an ultrasound before this one?? It's crazy how they can miss a baby!
  • Measuring right on track at 16 weeks and 2 days! We are so in love ♥️
