Hey, expecting number three, but this my first time joining the community. I have 2 beautiful sons one is 2 and 3/4 and the other is 14 months.
Waiting my doctor's appointment this week for the EDD, really not sure as my cycle hadn't settled down yet since #2 was born.
We wait until the first trimester is over to tell, but everytime I'm on the phone with my mom or sister I think I'm going to pop. Glad to have internet stangers to share it with!
FTM! I am 30, my husband is 29. We've been TTC for the past 2 years. It's been a hard couple years. But here we are, EDD 8/19! We also have 2 beautiful boy doggos who are going to be great big brothers.
Also... side note, were the spread sheet to add myself to. I can't seem to find it.
Hello! Nice to meet everyone ☺️ I’m 7wks 5days with baby #3. My oldest son turned 3 on Nov 17th and my little guy turned one on July 25th. I’m supef excited for #3 ( I’m sure the house will be completely bananas - I’m an only child who has always wanted a big family, so bring it on!). We have an 8YO black lab (Layla) and my husband and I just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. Can’t wait to see the little bean at our first ultrasound on Jan 2nd - this is always the hardest wait, right?! ♥️ Sending vibes for awesome sleep and happy times ahead to everyone here!
Hi everyone! This is my (surprise!) third - my previous two required fertility treatments, so this came as quite a surprise to us! I was previously active in M14 and A17 on TB. I see someone else is potentially due on their dad's birthday - I think our LO might also share a due date with my dad!!
I work in HR and was trying to find a new job when we found out, so I'm not sure what we'll do about that whole situation. I look forward to participating and hope to offer the perspective of someone whose two kids are drastically different than one another!
Hi everyone! I’m Lauren. I’m a 32 year old FTM from Brooklyn. DH and I were super surprised and excited to get a BFP this past Tuesday since we have been “not-not-trying” for the past 11 months. We have been married for 3.5 years and have a small dog who really loves babies so I’m sure she’ll be excited, too, once we bring baby home. We decided to tell my parents today, which was really awesome; we are planning on telling his parents on Tuesday and then keeping it hush until a little further along. My EDD is 8/31 and I am estimating to be 5w1d today. Looking forward to my first exam and US as my DR won’t see me until I am 8w along - the wait is going to be excruciating for me!
Hi everyone! Very excited to be a part of this group! FTM here. DH and I are both 33. According to the app, our EDD is 8/10, but the first OB appt is this Friday, so I’m interested to see if that changes. We got our BFP in our 9th month trying, which felt like a really long time, so we were thrilled and very relieved. I have Factor 5 Leiden and previous DVTs, so I’ve started preventative meds for that. The injections are a bummer, but DH has been helping and is very supportive. We live in Brooklyn and have an adorable cat. We’ve been married for 2 1/2 years, but have been together for close to 11 years now, so very excited to start growing our family!
FTM here and just got in under the wire based on my predicted date (8/31) After almost a year of trying, H and I got a positive test a few days ago. I admit I've been working up the courage to post since then (I'm still trying to get over the anxiety of the test being wrong or an early loss... hopefully that's normal? Not sure if I'm just an anxious basket case...) But yes, very excited to be here!
Hi Everyone! STM here and my EDD is 8/21. DS is 2.5 years old. DH and I are both 39 and we live in Ontario, Canada. We are excited to be adding baby #2 to our family. I lurked on the July16 board but decided I should jump in and participate this time. Looking forward to getting to know all of you. Happy New Year Mommas. Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2019!
Hello all! FTM over here. The fiance and I have been together five years now. We currently have three furbabies, an 8yo lab/husky, a 7yo American Bulldog/German Shepherd and the cat who is stuck in the middle of them. EDD is 21/08, making me 6w6d as of today. We've been trying for two years now since a miscarriage, so we were super excited when we got that positive. Anyway, I am just so happy to be here and excited to get to know all you lovely ladies.
Hello ladies! I am a STM and an AMA as I am 36. My first, my DD is 10 years old, so I kind of feel like a FTM again! My husband and I have been married about 2 months, and were not trying, but because of my age, we were also not “not trying” of that makes sense. Low and behold, after a month on birth control and then off for one month, a BFP! I’m excited! My DD will have a birthday partner as I am due on 8/29 and that is a few days after her birthday! I was active on my A08 BMB, so looking forward to this one too!
Hello! STM due 8/6. I have a 2.5 year old son. I'm 35 and DH is 38. We old, yo lol.
We had our first ultrasound a couple of weeks ago and heard a heartbeat of 165. The doctor also found an ovarian cyst, SCH, and fibroid tumor. So I guess we're in for an adventure!
Hello all, me and DH are both 34 years old. This is our first baby and we are so excited by this news. My first Ob/Gyn appointment is next week and my EDD is mid-Aug. Hoping to enjoy my first pregnancy to the fullest and make some dear friends on this wonderful journey. I wish you all and your families a very happy, healthy and love-filled new year!
Hi there, I'm 29 and DH is 36. This is our first pregnancy and we are so excited. Kinda feels weird telling everyone on here first! Can't wait to tell our family and friends. My EDD is late August, just from the math. Haven't had my first appointment yet, not until late January! Nice to meet you.
Hi there! STM, DS is almost 3, I’m 32. EDD 8/26 and boy will Texas be HOT at that time. I just want this first trimester to be over with so I can start getting excited, after a mc a few years ago it’s more scary to be pregnant than excited.
Hi all! This will be our first baby and we are so excited! We got married about six months ago and were fortunate to get pregnant pretty quickly. We currently have two cats and one dog and are looking forward to meeting our little one next summer!
Hello! This will be my fourth pregnancy and third baby (hopefully). I have an almost 4 year old and a 2.5 year old and had a MC this past April. Hoping that this time will be different obviously. Kind of in a new world this time around because I have NO clue when due date will be and first appointment with OB is Jan 30th 🤷♀️. I lost about 50lbs and towards end of weight loss ended up throwing my cycles off which were super consistent so as of Nov 30th had lab work in which everything came back negative (hormones fine and negative on pregnancy) and then started taking progesterone for ten days (Dec 1-10) to jump start it (didn’t work) and by the 23rd of Dec was feeling nauseous and took an at home pregnancy test with positive results.... it’s a crazy world but we are excited.
Hi, everyone! I'm a 39-year-old STM with a 3-year-old son. My due date is August 25.
*TW I had a chemical pregnancy at 5w2d in November that started the day before Thanksgiving (woof). end TW*
At my annual check up (at what was supposed to be my first OB check) with my midwife, I learned I was pregnant again right away. I had no idea because I just assumed my cycle was off and that's why I was a couple of days late. The midwife tested me on a whim while I scheduled a consult with an OB because we'd been trying for more than six months and I'm almost 40. We were all surprised (seriously, she was nearly in tears) when the test came back positive.
I was a major lurker with my first pregnancy so I'm looking forward to actually getting involved in the BMB this time.
Hello Im going to be 26 this month Im 9 weeks been trying to post on here for a while very excited this is my 4th pregnancy, but my first baby never been this far before so pretty excited DH is as well
Hi everyone, my name is Margarita (25). This is my 1st pregnancy, I'm currently 7 weeks 3 days, my EDD is August 18th. My hubby and I have a dachshund and have been married for 3 years. I teach middle school Spanish. I had my first appointment today but my doctor won't do heartbeat/ ultrasound until at least 8 weeks so I'm impatiently waiting for the 16th to come. I'm super excited and anxious and nervous and all the feelings.
I am a mother of 2 children already and apparently have number 3 on the way. This came as a huge surprise because I am on birth control and now is not a good time for us to be having another baby. I'm finishing up college and would start teaching I August....well now I'm due in August. I'm due August 22 according to my last period but I have not idea if that is correct because idk if I'm ovulating when I would normally because of ththe birth control. My husband and I are still in shock and kinda upset that this is happening now. I'm sure I'll figure it out but right now its cramping my style lol. Maybe I'll get the opportunity to teach summer school and then all will be ok.
@ashyoung89 It’s one thing for it to not be a good time to have a baby and a whole other for a baby to be ‘cramping your style’. If you’re that upset about being pregnant, maybe talk to someone. It’s not funny especially to the women here who tried for many years to get a baby only to have their dreams shattered month after month from loss or from just not ever getting pregnant and having to spend thousands of dollars to maybe become pregnant. Please be mindful of what you say here.

People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

Hi everyone! EDD is 8/24. I have one DS 19 months. Secretly praying for a girl but know how completely selfish that is - had 1 loss before DS so I know all that matters is a healthy baby! Also have a gut feeling its a boy. . First appt is not until 1/22- feels so long to wait! Nice to meet you all and hoping for all us to have healthy pregnancies!
Hi everyone! im due August 9th. This is my first baby. We had been trying for a few years and I finally threw my hands up and did IVF. Second FET worked! What a crazy ride! I live in Manhattan.
@ashyoung89 I have to second @suzycupcake I am sure your in shock as this wasn't what you planned but this post comes off very much as this baby is not wanted. For many of us on this board who have struggled for years for the family we wanted/prayed/hoped for, your post is upsetting. Its OK to be scared or uncertain what another baby may mean for your future, just please be a bit more mindful of how your words come across. andplusalso if this baby really isn't possible for your family you have options...

Hello all! Glad to be in the group! I am a 32 year old mother of 3 with an EDD of 8/9. I have a son (6) and 2 daughters (3 & 1). I am fortunate to have 3 healthy children, but I have unfortunately had many complications in my previous pregnancies, including one loss... so I am here as a (very excited) bundle of nerves.
Wow ladies, I know this is the internet and everything is about gut reaction, but I would hope a group of women would be able to be a bit more understanding of different scenarios and situations we as women and only as women can find ourselves in.
Instead of showing compassion, understanding, and empathy for someone who is clearly trying to connect, you immediately become offended, jump on them, and tell them “to find someone else to talk to” - is that not what this is - a venue for us to voice our concerns, fears, frustrations?
Yes, there are quite a few women who took many years and dollars to conceive, and I am part of that shitty sorority, but that doesn’t make us the only ones who are allowed to be scared of our uncertain futures or use humor for levity.

@becks68 I would normally agree with you except this woman said her baby is cramping her style, which is why I said it was different than it not being the right time for a baby. A far cry from being scared of an uncertain future, wouldn't you agree? Casey Anthony murdered her daughter because she was cramping her style. From my perspective, having that mentality is narcissistic, cold, and disconnected.
Finding someone else to talk to was never suggested. In fact, I told her if she is that upset about being pregnant, maybe talk to someone. That implies a professional. Completely different than what you perceived it to be as the word 'else' wasn't included. Eta; Also I'm sorry that you are a member of this shitty IF sorority too.

Hi everyone, my name is Jenny. I am a STM, my son (J18) is 11 months and will be 19mo when this baby comes. I’m due 8/21, but we have our first ultrasound this week to confirm. I live in WI with my husband, son, and our two dogs. Historically I’m not a super active poster but I’ll try my best 😀
Hi everyone! I apologize ahead of time if I’m awful at the abbreviations for a little bit until i get the hang of this thread lol First time mom, I have been married for almost three years, and my husband and I have been on a rollercoaster for infertility the last 2.5 years. We actually got pregnant earlier this year that ended in m/c, had a chemical pregnancy in October, and then got pregnant again in November and it seems like this one is finally sticking . I’ll be 9 weeks tomorrow but I think I’m probably a little less than that since I think i ovulated late. First official scan Thursday! I actually work in Radiology so I’ve been able to take a peak and there’s a little one in there with a strong heart beat praying this baby stays strong and keeps beating! Sorry for the long post. I’ve been wanting to post for awhile but have been too nervous to in case anything happened.. but I’m feeling more positive everyday and just praying for the best! 💛 thanks ladies!
I'm excited to be back here. I was here back in December 14....hoping I can fit back in. Our BMB was kinnnnnd of a sh*t show. Currently pregnant with baby #3 after a cp last month. 6w2d and crossing my fingers and thinking positive thoughts that we have a sticker

Hi, As of today 6 weeks 3 days. Ready for the day till I just say weeks... Had our first appt today. Good pic with good heartbeat. Didn't want to introduce myself prior, as this is my third pregancy and hoping to be my first child. On miracle grow, aka progesterone. And baby aspirin with no work or exercise. Putting my feet up and Netflix on.
Hi everyone . My husband and I will be first time parents if this pregnancy is successful. We have been trying for almost about a year and a half- darn PCOS! I have my first utz tomorrow our EDD so far is 8/26/19. My DH and I have no human babies yet (we had 2 MC last year) but we do have three furry ones. Two pups and cat. I love that I can feel a little relief (and hope) by reading posts here since I’m terrified of another miscarriage! I look forward to being a part of this wonderful supportive group!
Hiiiiii!! The day before my 31st bday I found out we’re pregnant with baby #3! This is our last baby! My EDD is 8/9, I’m hoping for a smooth pregnancy and delivery.
Hi! I’m due with baby #2 8/5/19. I have a 2.5 year old son and 2 cats. I had a MMC before my son so looking forward to being a part of the PGAL check ins. I was in a BMB with my son and loved the support and learning from everyone.

First time mom here. The hubby and I have been married for 2 years. Our expected due date is August 5th.
We are googling everything and I would love support since we aren’t really telling anyone the news yet.
EDD is 8/30. 5+3 today. We conceived through our 5th IUI with injectables. There were added meds for RPL/autoimmunity this round.
