We are having a really hard time even coming up with a list! It was so easy the first time, this time we are stumped.
So far here are my ideas (DH has given me nothing): Ella Rosalie Charlotte nn Charlie (family name) Bridget Adalind Adele (family name) Magnolia nn Maggie
Charlie (family name) Eric Lee Daniel (family name)
It's a wide open field. We tend more towards classic names, but I'd prefer it not to be super popular. I'd make an exception for Charlotte because I've loved it forever!
Our names are Silas Levi for a boy and Anastasia Suzanne for a girl. Both Silas and Levi are family names on my husband's side. Anastasia is my maiden name (now middle name), and Suzanne is a tribute to my late mother—her favorite Leonard Cohen song was "Suzanne."

I like Leighton Silver for a girl but my husband HATES it. No idea on boy names yet. My husband is a Jr but I really don’t want baby to take his name of it is a boy.
We have names from last pregnancy because we were team green. We will find out this time, but I’m already starting to overanalyze and rethink. I can guarantee DH will be resistant to changing bc it took so long to agree to any last time. A few from list. Boy: Huxley Girl: Zara, Sloane
@database6 Jrs. are a hot topic in our families. On both sides of the family we have juniors, but also 1 who gave their son the same first initial/middle name, but with a unique first name. Also another who gave a completely different first name but kept the middle name.
For example, John Michael & son Jared Michael. And a Michael Lee with son David Lee.
@WinchesterGirl Rosalie ("Rosie") is our girl name. It was my paternal gradmother's name, who was one of my very best friends. She passed away last month, so I not so secretly hope this LO is a girl so I can use it and honor her memory!
We have zero idea on boy names. We knew L's name from day one and never gave it a second thought so this is new for us.
It's taken us almost 4 years to agree on a single boy name... Which is Dashiell nn Dash. We have tons of girls names, however, and have agreed on Josephine nn Josie/Josey. DD's are Evangeline Phillippa nn Evy and Wilhelmina Diana nn Willa.
My husband only likes names that begin with vowels because he thinks they illiterate well with out last name (crazy right?!). For a girl I really like Amelia “Mia” and Eloise. We are going to be in trouble if they are both boys! It took us forever to come up with DSs name and we agreed on almost nothing. However, if they are both boys their middle names will be Albert and Ralph (so old school I know) after both of our Maternal Grandfathers 😊
We're set on Lenore for a girl. But not even close for a boy name. We like scout, Edgar, Sirius, and Carlisle. Lenore and Edgar are for Poe of course lol
@kristinamarie10 Annabel Lee (after the poem) was on our short list in my previous pregnancies and still a contender for this one but I worry it’s a little morbid.

Annabelle Lee was our girls name for our last baby! Lee is a family name, and I didn't know about the poem until after we selected it, but I still think its beautiful. The poem just makes it more interesting.

Annabelle Lee was our girls name for our last baby!
Edited: Ugh. Sorrryyy for the triple response. The Bump is so wonky on my phone.

I really like the name Kaia Alexandra for a girl (Kaia = "to rejoice" in Latin, "the sea" in Hawaiian/Japanese; Alexandra= long form of my mother's name, Sandra) and the name Malachi Arthur (Malachi= "messenger" in Hebrew; Arthur= my great uncle's first name, my brother's middle name) for a boy. I have a few others picked out, but these are my top combos. I have currently nicknamed the baby Kai, because it fits either way.
If it’s a boy he’ll be Cody Lee. Cody after my husbands sibling who died at birth and Lee is a family name on his side. Honestly not my favorite name in the world but it means so much to him I couldn’t say no! If it’s a girl she’ll be Camila Anne. We’ve had this name picked out for awhile. Her initials would be CAT so I’m sensing lots of nicknames if I’m having a girl!
For a girl we are pretty set on Elizabeth Grace. They are my middle names and the names of my grandmother and greatgrandmother. For a boy I am insisting on Fox William, mostly after XFiles but partially because my husband's name is William. He and my family isn't convinced lol We have to plan additional names too because there is a huge likelihood we will have twins....We will find out next week at our first US
Grace is a big contender for us since it was our runner-up for our daughter. I'm sure we'll add a few others to the mix as we like to go into delivery with 2-3 options and meet our baby to decide.
I am stumped on boy names. The only one I can think of that I like is Brook, but H doesn't like it because it's too girly.

@deecherise my stepbrother's daughter is Kai and they always call her "Baby Kai." It's so cute!
So far the only thing we have talked about is Dell/Delle and some form of the name Fredrick and some for of Nicole. H said we can talk more when I'm further along but all I can think about is app things baby! And we are so weird about names. We won't use a first name is we know someone with the name or if it's been on the top 1000 names on the social security website in the past 30 years. And all of our kids have two middle names because apparently we hate ourselves.
Our boy name from last time that we didn’t use was Ulysses (nn Lee) so that’s at the top of our list again.
For girl, we’d like to avoid names that end in “a” (DD’s does and so do all of her girl cousins) so I’m leaning towards Eleanor (nn Lenny or Elli) but we also really like Zelda

@oklahomak Sullivan is our boy name!! Our girl name is Daisy. we have two DD (Nova Mae and Juniper Lux)! and a DS Otto Graham We were team green last time and we’ll be again!!
@kmb7964 Sullivan and Otto were both top contenders for DS! He ended up Theodore (nn Theo). I still love Sullivan nn Sully. I also like Sebastian, Beau, and Knox. For girls my top 3 are Georgina (nn Georgie), Josephine (jojo), and violet (after my grandmother)
So I’ve always said if I have a daughter I want to name her after myself (because dads can do it so why not mamas?!) Then I thought maybe an extension of my name.
My first name is Lena so now thinking about Evelena for the full name.
Am I crazy???
Husband is Irish and have a ton of cute Irish boy names on our list!
@mamakelly18 I don't think you're crazy. A -lena name (Magdalena) was on our list before we settled on Josephine. I'm a big fan of -ene/-ine and -ina/-ena names though! My girls are Evangeline and Wilhelmina.
Nora is our girl name (we have a natalie currently ☺️) and for a boy, not too sure. We like Thomas. Long way to go to think about it since we won’t find out until birth!
@mamakelly18 Lena is one of my top girl picks so I love your name
ETA: I also don't think it's weird that you want to name her after your self. It's my biggest regret that I didn't give my daughter my middle name. I wanted to name her after me in some way and my father had given me a middle name idea and I loved the idea that he picked out part of her name, but always was going back to my middle name- I wish I had just done it. So go with your gut on this one!!

We aren't 100% decided on a girl name. We're in agreement that we want to call her Alex. I want to incorporate my late grandma's name. She was named Patricia Joan, but swore up and down her middle name was pronounced "Joanne". Alexandra Patricia seems like a cruelly long name, and doesn't really flow. And the middle name confusion makes me reluctant to use it. DH had a "Granny Jo", so I'm somewhat leaning towards Alexandra Jo to honor both grandmas. I've also considered Alex Patricia, but wonder if it's odd to not have Alex be short for another name.
Re: The Great Big Thread of Names
So far here are my ideas (DH has given me nothing):
Ella
Rosalie
Charlotte nn Charlie (family name)
Bridget
Adalind
Adele (family name)
Magnolia nn Maggie
Charlie (family name)
Eric
Lee
Daniel (family name)
It's a wide open field. We tend more towards classic names, but I'd prefer it not to be super popular. I'd make an exception for Charlotte because I've loved it forever!
