    @lindsjacobs yay for great numbers!!!

    @roisis yay for being PUPO!!

    @beachbunnyxo123 I’m so glad your lining is already looking better!!

    @zamora_spin your lining is already looking good!

    @Avrilmai I’m pretty much on bed rest for 3 days—no lifting anything heavier than a gallon of milk.  No sex until my beta and no running until they can see a heartbeat on an ultrasound

    AFM Lining was between 7.5 and 8.5 depending on the angle but thinks 7.7 is the correct measurement.  My RE thinks my lining looks good but isn’t perfect and is concerned about my estrogen drop yesterday.  She said she was really on the fence about me (but her nurse reminded her that every time she’s on the fence, the patient ends up pregnant). She said that in a perfect world, the lining would be thicker but this may be all I can get to.  I told her that I don’t want to go through with the FET if she didn’t think it would work and she said she had the highest cancellation rate at the clinic so she wouldn’t hesitate to cancel if she really thought it wasn’t going to work. My estrogen jumped to 2227 today!  I was worried that would be too high but the nurse said everything was great!  I started PIO tonight and my transfer is next Wednesday, 12/5! Oh and did anyone’s clinic say not to pull back on the needle to check for blood? (I mentioned I was worried about that part after watching the video and she said they don’t do that anymore)

  • @lindsjacobs Yes, I've always had antibiotics with each of my FETs with two different REs. I know REs are more likely to prescribe it if you've had losses in the past, but I've been on a regular doxy protocol because of my endometritis.

  • I transferred a PGS and it ended in a chemical last month... I’ll be trying another cycle either the end of December or January. Did they change anything in your protocol for this transfer?
  • @rr510 I'm sorry for your loss. Can I ask if this was your first transfer? I'm coming out of a failed transfer in October and just transferred another with the exact same protocol - but two previous transfers stuck (albeit temporarily) so I was happy to go with the same protocol. I know it's tough - but your little one did implant so your clinic might be happy to go with the same approach again.

    @purplg8r Oh yay!!! I started reading your post and was worried for you - but that's such an oestrogen jump!!! I'm delighted you've got the go-ahead for next week!!! (I don't do PIO - so can't advise there)
    @beachbunnyxo123 Yay for increased lining! It's amazing how our bodies just respond better to some drugs.
    @ChristenMA83 likewise I've taken the two on separate cycles but never together. Maybe just ask the clinic for a reason why there are trying this - I'm sure they have a plan.
    @leilee101 I think I took provera once to get a stubborn period started - and it did come in about 5 days after starting the drug. I normally spot first anyway so I can't say if it was any different with or without. Here's hoping your CD1 is on her way <3
    @lindsjacobs I've never been given antibiotics - and I've never heard of their use before. I'm not really a fan of antibiotics unless they're necessary though. I guess just go with your RE's advice? And that does sound like a medicated rather than natural cycle - but that's ok! Medicated cycles can give you more control over dates :)

  • @lindsjacobs I took a zpack at the beginning of the cycle (and they had H take one too). And now that it’s right before the transfer, I’m on Medrol and Keflex too
  • @roisis Congrats on being PUPO!!
    @purplg8r Yay... only 2 more days to go!

    AFM:  I started progesterone yesterday and had my first PIO shot.  Hubby did a great job because it didn't even hurt :)  I had my lining check last Friday and it was a 7.2.  Hopefully it will continue to grow.  My transfer is this Friday and I am sooooooo ready!  Also, I'm exhausted from these estradiol patches!  I went to bed at 6:30 last night  :D

    @kimberlyshae glad you're not having issues with the PIO. FX it stays that way! Friday is so soon!

  • @AlohaKumu That is awesome, so glad the mock transfer went well and your lining is still good! I know, what a week this is! Thank you, I just got EWCM, which I don't think I've ever been so excited to see so I'm hoping it's a good sign of ovulation soon  :D
    @Avrilmai I'm very lucky - no PIO. The idea with the natural transfer is that the corpus luteum from the follicle for this month produces progesterone to help (hopefully) support a pregnancy. I will be using progesterone suppositories to supplement but that's all. I know the PIO sucks and I'm sorry you have to deal with it. Is it going ok?
  • @Avrilmai Are you ready, transfer twin?  :)

    @zamora_spin hopefully that opk turns positive soon!!

    @AlohaKumu lol. Yay for your good little uterus!!
  • @zamora_spin no pio! That’s great. It’s going okay. I really wasn’t prepared for the soreness. My first injection was a lower dose & the nurse did it. It was totally fine. After that it has been sore hips, but after all of this it is something I can deal with.

  • So new to posting this is our 3rd fet cycle should have transfer on December 11th. Was wondering if anyone has been told that there is such a thing as your lining being too thick? I had to go in for an unplanned sono yesterday as I was having a lot of pain in my ovary they were thinking ovarian cyst! Well doctor said my lining was ready for transfer, but they are still keeping me on meds until Friday and doing planned sono before starting PIO for transfer next week. Does anyone know if this is normal?
  • Whoa! So much to catch up on!
    @avrilmai our RE recommends normal activity post transfer but Pelvic rest through beta and the first ultrasound.  He has the same reason as your RE for normal activity - to maintain bloodflow.
    @roisis Happy PUPO!!
    @lindsjacobs We always do a z-pack for DH and I before retrieval and I do a z-pack before transfer.  I start mine on the 13th for the FET on the 18th.
    @purplg8r I'm glad you're getting to move forward with the transfer.  Good luck tomorrow.  Hopefully the nurse is right and your RE being on the fence is a good sign.  FX!
    @rr510 after my MC in May from our first transfer, they added acyclovir and prednisone to my protocol for my July (failed) transfer - this was after testing NK cells and finding a slight elevation there.  This cycle is the same protocol as July's.
    @ruger0228 welcome to the group!  For my first successful transfer, was at 9 a week and a half before transfer, it was at least a 14 at the next check a few days before transfer.  I know a lot of RE's look for at least 8...but I'm not sure if it can get too thick.

    Good luck today @avrilmai and @alohaKumu !!!

  • Oooo - good luck today @avrilmai and @alohaKumu  !!! Exciting times :)

    @ruger0228  Welcome!! I'm actually not sure if lining can get too thick - but I remember someone once saying their's went up to 20(!) and their transfer still went ahead. My lining was also up at 9mm a week before transfer - and it's always been that way - so I wouldn't worry unduly. And I hope you don't have a cyst :/ Could they not see it on the sono - or with an u/s?

    @Avrilmai I know your transfer is probably a lot earlier than mine, so I hope everything is fantastic! PUPO!

    @ruger0228 Yes, it is possible for the lining to be too thick, but staying on meds an additional week (especially not increasing the dosages) may be okay in your case. Sometimes your lining is "ready" (like at 7-8), but can continue to plump up quite a bit before being too thick. Did they determine the cause of the pain?

    Hello everyone, sorry we’re late to the party. We’ve been part of the November IVF group, but fresh transfer didn’t happen and we’re penciled in for FET on Dec 19th.

     My wife is 28, this is our first cycle. I have an amazing 10 year old daughter from a previous relationship, but we have no children together, yet.

    We have a total of 6 frozen embryos and we’re transferring 2.

    I’ll  be reading and catching up on all the comments on this thread, to learn about where everyone else is at
  • @purplg8r good luck today!!

    @Tuasdad Welcome! Sorry your fresh transfer didn't take - that's always tough. But it's great you can go straight into another transfer - I'm also coming straight out of a failed transfer and hoping for better results this time around. And ooo - your wife will be PUPO over Christmas!! Will you be avoiding drinks over the holiday in solidarity with her?! I've talked my hubs into refraining from drink during the TWW - but I doubt he'd be on for that if it actually went over Christmas :wink: Best of luck to you!
    @AlohaKumu & @Avrilmai How did ye get on? I hope all went smoothly and you're both just taking it easy for a while <3<3<3

    @kimberlyshae how are you doing with the soreness. I did find that using the heating pad (before transfer) helped to reduce some of the soreness for me.

  • @beachbunnyxo123 I am doing a natural cycle, so no medication until I am ready to ovulate. Then Ovidrel trigger, and start PIO 3 days later (that's just because I have always had a shot luteal phase so better safe than sorry). And Z pack. Other than that, au naturale. FX my body know what it's doing, I hope all these medicated cycles haven't thrown it out of whack.
  • Is anyone else transferring tomorrow?? I have a 10am FET scheduled. This week has flown by!!!

  • Peeking in here unofficially. I just got shocked with amazing news of both of my 2 blasts from my November retrieval being healthy (and both girls - after losing a PGS normal girl embryo in early November, I was trying to let go of the fantasy of having a girl). I don't have my consult until next week since my results came 6 days sooner this time than last time, so I'm not for sure a go for this cycle. My last one was a post-retrieval cycle, so if my RE feels that contributed to the loss I had, then I may skip this one, but since I do have two, I'm inclined to chance it unless she advises against it. We will likely do another natural cycle, which would put my transfer somewhere between December 29th and January 7th, so I may not belong on this board at all, anyway. We will most likely do PIO instead of Endometrin this time as that may be why I had massive non-menstrual bleeding 4dp5dt last time. Still need to meet with my RE and get her take on that - I went from failed FET to retrieval cycle so fast I never even spoke with her in between. I also have the complication of my clinic being closed December 25-28, so if I surge during that time frame, I wouldn't be able to transfer. I can't use BCP to control the timing of my cycles so they have all be natural-start.
  • @ittybittybug-2 Hi and Welcome! Congratulations on getting two healthy embryos  - and I'm sorry for you loss. Lots of people hang out in two groups when their dates fall at the very end/beginning of the month (I'm also active in novemberFET). So please do join in and keep us updated on your progress - even though you may end up in a 2019 transfer. And yes, that is tricky trying to time a natural cycle over the Christmas break - hope it all works out for you - and if not - Extra EggNog for you!!! (I'm Irish - I really don't know what eggnog is but I believe it's christmassy and alcoholic!!)

    @lindsjacobs Good luck today!!!
