Hi! It's been since 2014, but I finally got the nerve to try again, so here I am. I'm a little scared to post, like I might jinx things (so silly), but I also know need to talk about it and that it gives me strength to see other women powering through difficulties I can only imagine.
I had my FET Monday morning, with my beta scheduled for next Tuesday (12/18). I'm so nervous.
I always think it’s going to get easier with each transfer, but the worry never goes away. It gave me a bit of peace this morning to see the bump in color from yesterday. Hoping everyone is staying positive and excited for betas and transfers this month🥰

@kimberlyshae The only thing I do special is 8oz of Pom juice daily. I did that with my first cycle, not with my second, and my lining was better for cycle 1...so I'm doing it again.
@kimberlyshae, today I have felt pulling. But not sure why that is? Gas?

Random question here. I've noticed that most people on this thread have E2 in the high hundreds or even thousand right before transfer. My lining was 14 and my E2 was 164 the week before my transfer. I'm curious to know why most people have high E2???? Is it related to medication? I did a FET of donor embryo with only estrace and PIO/suppositories. Theories?

@lindsjacobs I'm not sure, but I know my first cycle was almost cancelled because my E2 was extremely high. My doctor told me that recent studies have shown that within a pretty darn wide range, E2 doesn't appear to be related to pregnancy success, and that really what matters is the lining. Your doctor might say something else.
@lindsjacobs I was wondering the same thing. I see lots of people post E2 levels in the low hundreds. I only took Estrace and at my baseline my E2 was 50 so idk why it’s so high now, but my dr said it was good. My dr did have me take the Estrace vaginally instead of orally, she said vaginally helps to absorb it better, so maybe that’s why it’s higher????
@lindsjacobs my clinic likes to see e2 levels over 100 during an FET cycle. If it goes under that they will increase meds. I’m doing a natural cycle right now so I’m not on estrace at all and my e2 is 409. Last cycle I was on estrace and it was almost 2,000. As long as it’s not under 100 it’s good.
@lindsjacobs in a normal cycle, each follicle produces 150-200 e2 at it's peak (right before O). So with meds, and depending on how many follies you are producing (like in a stim cycle) that number can get pretty high. Too low means your body isn't producing enough to ovulate, too high might cause fluid to build up in the uterus and create a hostile environment for a little embie
@lindsjacobs I just had my E2P4 check on Monday (Transfer was last Friday)... My E2 was 179, P4 was 29.61. I'm doing PIO shots daily, estrogen patches, Heparin shots 2x daily and baby aspirin. Doc said my levels were good. Hope this helps.
@lindsjacobs I def think the different E2 ranges are due to supplementation versus not. The day of my beta is the day we leave for a trip to see DH's family, and I'll probably get the call when we land from our flight. I def don't want to find out the news right before seeing his family so I'm going to test beforehand, but haven't decided when exactly.
*lurking @ChristenMA83 Happy PUPO! It's good to see you back on here

Breaking news... TMI (sorry!!) I just had the tiniest bit of tan/very very light brownish color discharge on my toilet paper... that's good, right??? Burrow, embabies, burrow!!
I was put on 60mg tabs for 5 days (3before and 2 after transfer) last night was first night on meds and by this afternoon my blood pressure shot through the roof praying we don’t get cancelled tomorrow as transfer is scheduled for Friday. My blood pressure always runs low I have never had high blood pressure so assuming it has to be the prednisone right?
I just had my first monitoring appointment for this cycle. We are doing a natural cycle, due to my body (really, my lining) not responding well to synthetic estrogen. So once I get a follie that is 18-20mm, we will trigger and then transfer will be one week after that. Today I had a follie that was 14mm, but my lining was only 2.5mm. I am totally freaked out that this will be another cancelled cycle. I know I still have time, and the more the follies grow the more estrogen will pump, but I was really hoping for it to be at least 4 today

hi to all my favorite little lurkers @mayflower513 it's definitely not good, my doctor said to come back in Saturday and if the lining is still under 5mm we will discuss cancelling the cycle. Hope your pregnancy is going well!!

@leilee101 I have no idea if that’s considered good or bad. What did your doctor say about where the lining is at?
@mayflower513 it's definitely not good, my doctor said to come back in Saturday and if the lining is still under 5mm we will discuss cancelling the cycle. Hope your pregnancy is going well!!
