@holly321 YES, my SO doesn’t come right out and say it but if I make a comment about something his head whips around and he stares at me all bug-eyed and I have to roll my eyes and say “No, just because I feel barfy from 3 glasses of wine on an empty stomach doesn’t mean I’m pregnant, and you can stop judging me now for drinking all the wine, I haven’t even ovulated yet.” He understands how it all works but he can’t help himself.

@elle-0409 I had to give my DH a crash course in how the female reproductive system works. He had absolutely no idea that it takes time to get pregnant and you only have a small window each cycle. Yesterday I told him that I probably ovulated on Friday and he asked if I was going to take a test right away. Glad to know my H isn't the only one with a lot to learn.

Does anyone know what causes the ; to show up after you tag someone? when the semi-colon is there the person doesn't get the notification. it seems to happen to me about half the time when I tag someone just trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. (you'd think after 2 years I'd have this down)

I really need to rant/rave a little bit more without clogging up the TWW. Spoiler for length..

I think that when I had another UTI starting last cycle that I did not actually kick it naturally. This weekend I had the most severe symptoms start out of the blue, which was bizarre, considering how my UTIs normally progress. It was so intolerable that I had to use Uricalm tablets just to sit still for more than a few minutes without a burning fire bathroom break.
I tried to flush out my system and seemed to be feeling better last night, but this morning it was back with a vengeance + left kidney pain. Sooo.. now I've gone to walk-in care and they are cautiously treating me for UTI and potential kidney infection, with a recheck in a week.
On top of that.. I had read something weird about D-Mannose (from cranberry) having contraceptive qualities and decided to look into that more today. There was in fact a patent submission from a supplement company trying to market D-Mannose' ability to work as a contraceptive about 10 years ago. Apparently it helps prevent sperm from fertilizing the egg, maybe due to acidity. Sooo.. there's that, and I was taking lots over the last couple cycles due to UTIs.

@mamanbebe OMG @ the D-mannose qualities. I did NOT know that was a thing. Shit, now I don't know what to do. I know I get UTI's mostly from sex and bacteria from stuff being all up in my business... because I never had UTIs when I wasn't sexually active. I'm really good about peeing after sex and I keep things clean and tidy down there but it still happens. Those are going back on the shelf, even if it hasn't been proven, I'm not taking any chances.

@kiki047 Right?? I asked my fertility naturopath about the possibility of it preventing pregnancy due to acidity and she paused, saying "Huh.. yeah, that could definitely be a thing" due to the logic, but she just had not heard of any studies related to it.

Also, it is seriously a bummer since it does help with preventing UTIs. I was reading up on natural cold remedies this past week too and it was mentioning lemon/acv are great because the acidity makes it hard for bacteria and viruses to thrive. That circles back to UTIs I guess too, but then of course, now I wonder how much all of those things can affect CM quality.

@mamanbebe actually ACV, despite being acidic, has an alkalinizing effect on the body. I’ve read that it can help control candidadis and help with CM production. It should also help with UTIs. I know what I’m going to be researching tonight!!

Also, this is us from our party last week. We wore the costume for all of 2 mins to get in the house then we took it off so we didn't bump into absolutely everything

All that work for a photo, basically. I'll wear mine tomorrow but it isn't the same without my SO with me. Guess that's the problem with couples costumes lol.

@kiki047 those costumes are hilarious! I'm not sure if I'll dress up tomorrow but will at least pull something out of my bag of photobooth props to answer the door in tonight (supposed to be awful weather tomorrow, so I assume some kids will come tonight) / tomorrow.

@kiki047 IMHO people here are weak haha...back home (Chicago suburbs) we trick or treated no matter the weather. Here they cancel school if there's an inch of snow in the forecast, even if it doesn't end up snowing.... According to the news, some neighborhoods here have moved their trick or treating to tonight. This is our first Halloween when we'll actually be home, so I honestly don't know what to expect!

We will be characters from Pac Man. I personally will be Ms. Pac Man. It’s not anything special, just a T-shirt I added some puff paint to. I think they turned out pretty decent and people will know who we are.

It is so hard to be patient - but I know from the lab & from the outside fertility clinic that all but 1 test has been ran & sent to my doctor. The blood work will auto release to my patient portal either tomorrow or the next day, but tell me right meoowww! I'm also not sure how they release SA results - will they come to my portal or will MH have to receive the results?

le sigh I am so impatient.

Thank you everyone! I have to give all the credit to my SO, he comes up with all the good ideas. He can't wait until we have kids who need to do school projects. I'm scared for them (and their teachers), lol.
