@brie_and_almonds because I've barely been able to eat anything earlier in the day it's usually multi-grain waffles with blueberries or/and Noosa yogurt. They're full fat yogurts, but so so good. I also just sticks up on some fresh bagels. I usually freeze some already cut and then defrost and toast in the morning.
I've been thinking about sushi way too much. I told hubby that we will have to have a sushi feast once the baby is born! Seems hard to wait until May for one of our favourite foods. 🤤
@DuchessOfCambridge it’s a Mongolian grill. Basically, you prep your own meal with noodles, meat, veggies, and fruit and then top it with a sauce combination and they grill it in front of you. It’s like creating your own Asian bowl and it’s so good! DH doesn’t like going often because it’s expensive since it’s an all-you-can-eat place, but we went on a Friday at lunch and it was $22 including tax for the two of us, which I think is very reasonable for all-you-can-eat.
Also, I made potato soup today and it is so good! So glad I convinced myself to cook!
@bgdwg what kind of sushi do you like? If you like maki rolls, you could always go for a dynamite roll, california roll, or any of the other cooked options. I'm pretty comfortable with eating sushi from a reputable place, so I even eat raw during pregnancy, but I'm all about maki, and there's only a small amount of raw fish in those to begin with.

@mrskoz428 I take a daily probiotic and try to eat yogurt every morning (but I ran out this morning ). Water should help too but after having a kid starting solids, I now know that lots of "p" foods can help (pears, prunes, peas, peaches, plums) lol. Bananas make it worse. There are a lot of other foods that play into it one way or the other that you wouldn't realize so maybe check that out to see if you should remove/lessen or add/increase something.
@k2k2tog I love almost all maki. I did have some dynamite roll the other week cause it's not raw but I find myself craving the raw varieties too. I do tend to go to good quality places but just feel a bit nervous. Rather be on the safe side just in-case! I think I will stick to the cooked varieties when this craving gets too hard to control and then order the best sushi feast of my life after having this LO. My reward...? 😄
@mrskoz428 I'm also on the yogurt train! Been having a small yogurt cup once a day for 3 weeks and it's doing wonders. Thank God cause that constipation is killer!
@bgdwg I just had a dynamite roll on Monday! Yum! Sushi was my first meal home from the hospital - had DD on Sunday morning, discharged Tuesday morning, walked to sushi for lunch with DD, DH, my mom and sister.
@kvh22 We ordered sushi to the hospital room! Couldn't even wait to be discharged I also deprived myself and didn't eat any cooked rolls last time around, but am definitely more lax now with #2.

I have eaten terrible lately. I’ve had bite size pieces of candy (snickers, Milky Way, Twix and 3 musketeers if you’re wondering) for breakfast for the past 3 days now and pizza the past 2 nights for dinner. We really need to get groceries...
@megsb615 it was delicious, but I couldn't stomach much. This time around I've been eating so much healthier. Minus the frosty and fries 😂 but overall I'm doing better. With Colin I ate McDonald's every day, not kidding. 2 cheeseburgers, a 4 piece nugget, a large fry and a sweet tea. Ahhh the good ole days when I had a metabolism.
@megsb615 I am now starting to give out handfuls to prevent myself from eating too much of it. I was expecting close to 300 kids and we've only had about 60-70. We live around so many kids but we are just far enough away from the main drag (a whole 50 yards) that they don't want to walk down here.
Shredded bbq chicken sandwiches tonight! They were good. I’ve only had 3 pieces of Halloween candy by some miracle. We got no trick or treaters, I’m sad what do we do with the candy?! I can’t eat it all 😂
@DuchessOfCambridge How have you only had 3 pieces?! I need your self control. I also had a donut today. In my defense, I did walk on the treadmill for 30 min.. so basically long enough to burn off one mini snicker bar 😂
@megsb615 to be honest I don’t like candy that much. Now chocolate chip cookies - I can down a bunch of those guys really fast. We don’t keep them in the house for that exact reason
I am making crock pot Zupa Toscana soup! ❤️ Soup with bread and butter has been my favorite thing right now! Also got things to make tostadas sometime this week! Looking forward to the food this week!

I also add crushed red peppers for spice but this is what I use: Put everything except the kale in a crock pot on high for 3.5 hours or low for 7 hours. Then add the kale and let it sit in high for another 30 minutes or on low for another hour. Super simple and so good!
Our Aldis finally finished their remodel and we went shopping there today. Which means I got my cheapie prosciutto and brie!!!!! My word it is so SO good. But now I'm sad it's gone...
