  • I had way too many aversions last time and absolutely no cravings. Wonder how it's going to be this time around. 


  • Before we knew we were pregnant, like week 3, I was delighted to find that leftover hamburger patties dipped in buttercream icing is DELICIOUS YW
  • @expandcontract that's exactly how my last pregnancy was. All the aversions. The list of things I was actually willing to eat was extremely tiny.

  • Larabars. Very very slowly because I constantly feel like I’m going to vomit. Crackers also relieve the nausea for the brief time I’m eating them. And I’m craving KFC but I’m not going to force my family to eat it so I’ll just continue to crave.

  • I am craving everything lately. Watermelon, burgers, buffalo sauce, carbs, the list goes on and on. Last time I had to force feed myself. I'm not sure if it will change, and while I am enjoying being hungry and loving food I am terrified to pack on the pounds!

  • I'm going kind of 'balls-to-the-wall' about 'NUTRIENTS FOR THE BEBE' but I'm weirdly not that hungry lately. I'm told this passes and eventually turns me into an eating machine.

  • I don't  really want to eat.  I don't have any real cravings.  I've been eating cheese and tortillas like multiple times a day.

    CHEESEBURGERS!!  Especially cheap one like BK. Really any red meat will do. Chicken is a little bit on a struggle and chocolate makes me gag. And I love chocolate.

    I'm not the first to say it, but I too want all the carbs. This week has also especially been about toasted everything bagels with onion/chive cream cheese!

  • I’ve baked most days this week (doesn’t help that I’m sick and not working for two weeks). Pumpkin raisin muffins just came out of the oven!

    i crave poutine (said it a few days ago and DH immediately said “you’re pregnant”) which I ate way too much of last pregnancy.
  • Just an FYI on soft cheeses - it’s just if they’re unpasteurized that you shouldn’t  have them. Most in the US are so enjoy that cheese!

    Of course, do what you’re comfortable with, and I personally like to double check if it’s not clearly labeled but that’s the norm here :smile:

  • It’s all about the buffalo sauce! I’m trying to eat small meals atm because I’ve noticed that I’m getting indigestion when eating a lot at once.

    I suppose I could. But we've had way too much fast food lately, so it's not good for me either. I'll give in to the craving another day.

  • @bumbly_b yes to the red meat! All I want are Culver’s cheeseburgers with onion rings ALL THE TIME! I would probably eat it every meal if I could. I made cheddar broccoli soup because it sounded amazing but not, I look at it and want nothing to do with it.

  • Not a food but I'm loving the BodyArmor SuperDrinks. It's fruity-flavored coconut water. Enjoying the Orange Mango atm and omg they are soooo good! 
  • I’m all about sweets and carbs, and really anything right now. We took our son to the peach packing shed last month, and we got peaches and a 16oz container of their homemade peach ice cream (my favorite from childhood). Let me preface this by saying I hardly ever crave sweets, but i went through all that ice cream in only 3 different days.  :# I’m so thankful I haven’t been sick so far, but I’m also not trying to pack on the pounds right off the bat either. Too bad I’m a bottomless pit.

  • No cravings yet, and not really hungry either. I'm doing my best to make healthy choices, but I suspect that won't last more than a few weeks. I remember last time. All I ate was hot dogs and mac'n'cheese.

    @sparrowsnest22 Right there with you on the indigestion if I eat too much. Blech.

  • No cravings yet. Honestly, I'm hungry all the time, but I'm apathetic to most food. I can't believe how my stomach growls now. Breakfast that used to keep me satisfied until noon, just not doing it now. It's gumbling by 10am. So I'm trying to fill in with fruit, nuts, and string cheese.


    I did want pizza bad yesterday. But like pizzaria pizza, not just chain places.


    @poshspice hot boneless buffalo wings were my really early craving with DD. I don't eat hot things at all. It was crazy! I will always remember the day I finally got them (we were stationed in Hawaii at the time and there was only one wing place on the island, and it wasn't convenient to us). Lol. Memories.

  • Oh man, this thread is making me SO HUNGRY. I only had yogurt and granola for breakfast, so I was hungry anyway, so now I want cheeseburgers and wings and poutine and ALL THE CARBS. I usually get a nice healthy salad at the amazing salad bar around the corner from my work, but now I'm googling the closest poutine place (it's a 12 minute walk).

  • Not super hungry lately and not much sounds good. Haven’t been sick, but everything is just meh...

  • I’ve been drinking a lot of smoothies, especially ones that are pineapple and mango, and I’ve been eating a lot of cheese. I really want tacos so went out to lunch at a Mexican restaurant on Thursday and they were not that good.

  • Just got questioned for why I was eating a salad at 10am at work. Uhh.... first lunch duh. That’s not new behavior or weird at all... right? Lol.
