@bpietronicco oo I went through a cinnamon toast phase earlier. I absolutely love it but DH had never had it so I introduced him last pregnancy. It was a huge part of my childhood but I hadn't had it since until then. It was a post-dinner snack for about a week around 7 weeks I think as I never felt full from dinner but didn't want more of what we had. Even though I feel like crap from 6-12 weeks around now (9 weeks and a bit) is when I don't care that I'm hungry, food just doesn't sound good no matter what.
I'm already planning out my post-ultrasound meal when I go to Indianapolis a week from tomorrow. I miss and am desperately craving La Bamba. Imma get me a big ol' Mexican feast and feed these twins a good dinner!

I just wanna follow you around and eat with you is that weird, if it is don't tell me
I love when there are sales meetings in my office. They always order way too much food and then I get to go scavenge for afternoon yum yums. Today's was leftover Panera Mac n Cheese and baguette. Yes, please.

Just ate about 6 pieces of sourdough with vegan cheese spread... Haven't vomited at all, but have to eat asap once I'm hungry, otherwise the nausea is real and nothing sounds good. Loving cold fresh fruit like mango and clementines; sourdough with cream cheese and turkey slices toasted in the oven; burgers; spaghettios (mmm); ice cream, and thankful I finally want simple lettuce salads again. Hated them for the first 6 weeks, even though DH and I used to eat salads all the time! Wishing I wanted more healthier foods...
I've been cycling through craving all the breakfast foods. Previous cravings included hashbrowns and english muffins. Now, I'm on to Belgian waffles. Must invest in a waffle maker soon
I'm so hungry reading through this thread! I was sick all last night with a virus so have only been able to keep down multigrain blueberry waffles but am so craving a chocolate shake! And a burger!
So many aversions starting week 9 due to heartburn or just feeling yucky about foods I used to love ! But I'm big on fruit right now and never used to be- especially blueberries. Mashed potatoes were never so mouthwatering than now. .. and quality chocolate and chips are about a million times more delicious. I usually want all the fried foods but can't stomach them the past few weeks
I just made granola and it is delicious!!! I bought all the ingredients after I found out I was pregnant and never got around to making it. DD has gone through all the strawberries I would usually put on my yogurt so it was a good forcing function and soooo worth it.
Should I be super concerned that with my food aversions, metallic taste in my mouth and nausea that I really haven't been able to eat very many fruits and vegetables this first trimester? I probably eat a salad once a week and if I get some sort of a sandwich I will always put lettuce and tomato on it and maybe once or twice I actually had a handful of fruit but that's about it. I am taking prenatals religiously so I'm hoping that will make up for the nutrients I'm not getting in fruits and vegetables. Smoothies are the only way I can get a form of fruit or vegetable down but I know it's not enough. Any feedback or suggestions?
@mamajojo1981 I'm having the same issues. I had bought these veggie cakes from Costco to try and up my veggie intake. I loved them early on, but my aversion to them now is so strong! I've been buying the little odwalla juices to drink which helps, and soup is great for veggies too!
@brie_and_almonds I eat scrambled eggs (1 egg + 4 egg whites) every single morning with parmesan and a bit of butter. It's been the only protein I'm eating most days because I can barely stomach meat. In getting a bit tired of it though. But it's tasty!
@brie_and_almonds I'm currently eating Cheerios and milk with a bowl of strawberries. Been buying blueberry muffins and eating those some mornings too. I can't stomach eggs at all. Bagels with cream cheese are another favorite.
@brie_and_almonds I normally have a slice of cinnamon raisin bread first thing in the morning with some iced coffee. And then second breakfast about an hour later of two eggs with potatoes. I love TJ’s frozen roasted potatoes. Just throw a couple pieces into the frying pan to reheat. Add some avocado and salsa. So good!

@brie_and_almonds I’ve been switching between bagels with cream cheese, lucky charms, pop tarts, and smokey link hot dogs on buttered toast. 😂😂 Probably not the healthiest options but they sure do taste good! 🤷🏽♀️
@brie_and_almonds I’ve been trying to make smoothies in the morning or have plain Greek yogurt with cut up fruit. Mostly it ends up being a bagel with PB though. Teddy’s PB has a version with flax seed so that makes me feel slightly less guilty.
