@BourbonBiscuits Have you watched The Killing? Not exactly scary, but it's a pretty creepy murder drama/thriller. The first season is by far the best, but I liked the other seasons too.
Ugh I just got home from work and I am so tired, hungry and in desperate need of a shower. I have no idea if i should eat, nap or shower first so I'm just sitting on the couch, numb. If I were on The Sims I'd be minutes away from falling asleep in my own piss puddle, covered in flies and dying while clenching my stomach.

@BourbonBiscuits I haven’t watched it yet but I heard American Horror Story’s first season is really good. It’s on Netflix. Also Castle Rock on Hulu is great imo.
@grebretso I don't think I have watched The Killing! That sounds right up my alley ... @allthingsgo I LOVED every season of AHS and Castle Rock (although I was confused by the last few episodes). Definitely something in that vein - kind of wishing I hadn't watched this week's episode of AHS last night so I could rewatch it tonight.

Second season of AHO wins IMHO. Haven’t been able to stay up late enough to watch this season
@BourbonBiscuits I agree those last few were confusing and I really felt like the last episode really didn’t answer the main mystery of the season! I got excited for the second season though after they hinted it might be at the Overlook hotel!
Omg, I’m laughing my ass off over here. H’s work is in a special thing in Sunday’s Oregonian newspaper about best places to work in Portland. They chose a picture of H and a few other guys from 3 years ago. He was over 50lbs heavier then. He’s so mad.
@thechickendance- Maybe they're like my SO, who doesn't know the difference between a mango and a papaya. That would explain a lot about the length stated there.
@conchispita agreed 100%. That was my favorite season by far. This one is intense in a different way ... I only watch it streaming on the FX app. No way I can stay up that late.
@allthingsgo I feel the same way!! I just wanted them to tie it up in a pretty little bow for us and I don't think that happened. I am excited about the possibility of season 2 though!
@hannahbananas11 yeah H and I watched Stranger Things in like one sitting lol. He'd get pissed when I'd watch an episode without him.
@megpants209 Oooooooh yeah. I liked season 1 more than season 2, but I did like season 2 a lot. Lol I sound like I watch so much tv. Really I just watch exclusively scary tv
I always really hoped my procrastination would end when I got pregnant. I see that is not going to be the case lol. Still have absolutely nothing and haven’t even considered a timeline for getting things done...
I woke up at 7 this morning (didn't fall asleep until 2), and instead of lying in bed, I got up and made three loaves of bread and cleaned the stovetop and sink. This "second trimester energy" thing isn't all that it's built up to be.
This poor kid is just SOL. They aren’t even getting a nursery until they’re 3mo. The only nesting that may happen this time is washing clothes and getting the bassinet down.
@hannahbananas11 baking bread sounds like a fantastic idea! Whole Foods took away my favorite white bread so I’ve got to start making my own. And 5 am sounds like a perfect time to do that
@megpants209 It makes the house smell amazing! My favorite sandwich bread and crusty bread recipes have come from King Arthur Flour's website. They test all of their recipes and offer updates and reply to questions regularly. Their recipes have always been successes with me! If Whole Foods ever stops making their rye bread, I'll be one sad lady.
@BourbonBiscuits the new Netflix exclusive Maniac looks great. I think it’s more sci-fi than scary, but I love Emma Stone.
I’m saving up all kinds of shows for breastfeeding late nights on maternity leave because it’s about the only time that I get to choose what I watch on TV. I’ve seen the entire series of Criminal Minds at least 4x.
My first leave I watched the first 4 seasons of OITNB for the first time. I still haven’t seen season 6. I’m trying to decide what else I want to save now..
DH and I watched all of the series Cheers together. Some before DD but mostly during the MOTN feedings. I actually look back on that time very fondly. It felt so intimate and special for our family’s beginning. We’ve been trying to decide what we will watch for this one this time around.
