@UnbreakableKimmySchmidt I almost puked in the Library parking lot this morning and was wondering the same thing... I took some unisom and took a nap while DD napped. I'm feeling better, but still not 100% like you. Maybe it's pregnancy related? I had the stomach flu in July (still very fresh memories, lol) and couldn't get off the couch or even keep water down. The fact that you are seem functional right now makes me think it's not the stomach flu. At least I hope not for your sake!
@ChasingTheDog I'm right there with you with being out of breath easily! I'm also not short, and generally quite fit, but going up or down a normal household flight of stairs and then trying to talk is hard for me.
@UnbreakableKimmySchmidt did you get nauseous after eating? I randomly started getting more queasy AFTER eating, which was odd for me, and someone suggested tums. I tried it, and it works! Turns out it was acid reflux coming out in a different way..instead of giving me heartburn, sometimes it presents as just feelings gross. The tums toned it down and I stopped feeling nauseous. Maybe try it?
@Mandamay1414@sweetyjenj thanks for the tips! I was feeling better yesterday afternoon and completely fine by last night and today. So I don’t know what it was but thankful it passed quickly and so far no one else in my family has shown symptoms. I had been pretty hungry upon getting up, ate some cereal, drank a tiny bit of coffee then started feeling nauseous. So random but relieved it wasn’t the full on flu!
@UnbreakableKimmySchmidt this happened to me the other day at work. I got hot, sweaty, and super nauseous. I went to lie down, tried to go back to work, lied down again and finally felt better about an hour or two later. No idea what caused it.
@tosh24 I know I’m really late but +1 to watery discharge. It definitely happened to me with DD as well. One time I freaked myself out enough to go to L&D. And this time I feel like it started earlier and has happened more.

Sleeping is getting more and more uncomfortable every night, even with my pregnancy pillow. I'm trying so hard not to lie on my back, but I still find myself rolling onto my back in the middle of the night!
I've also got some serious forgetfulness going on. I've actually left my phone at kroger twice in the past month...
@sarahsaurus-2 I still wake up on my back pretty much every wakeup no matter what I do. It’s tough! And I’m super uncomfortable on my left side all together.

I understand that sleeping on one's back isn't ideal, but take heart in the fact that your body will tell you if there's a problem. You will either wake up feeling sick and out of breath, or you'll automatically move in your sleep when your body starts to feel distressed. Try not to stress too much about it - just do the best you can.
@UnbreakableKimmySchmidt I had some morning sickness that has been gone for weeks but have thrown up randomly twice recently. The first time was when our elevator broke down and I walked to the sixth floor with groceries then puked. The second was this weekend when I was deep cleaning our bathroom shower/tub. I had on a 3M mask with a little vent in it so I could use strong cleaners and I threw up in the mask and then choked on my own vomit before I could get the mask off.
I'm calling random puking or puking based on exertion and not naseau a 2nd tri symptom.
Apparently my symptom of the week is having old injuries flare up on me. I had a mild hip flexor tear a few years ago that required PT. It hasn't bothered me in ages, but has me limping like crazy today. I'm also dealing with a flare up of bursitis in my elbow. These two issues made sleep last night really challenging - lying on my left side hurt my hip, while the right side hurt my elbow.
+1 for heartburn here...I had it around week 17 for a few weeks and it went away, now it's back with a vengeance. Have to sleep sitting straight up, and am going to get an Rx for some heartburn relief from my midwife. ALSO if one more gosh darn person tells me this means I'll be having a hairy baby...

I am about 19 weeks and last night it was kind of crazy I felt like I was having period cramps was painful lasted about an hour. I feel like Braxton Hicks is different for everyone, does this sound about right to anyone or off base on normal symptoms?
@brianawilde The problem is... lol. There are so many aches and pains that it's hard to say what anything is. I was having extreme pain in my left side; turned out to be an interaction between bowels and the round ligament (information compliments of the ultrasound technician). Some cramps are digestive system, some are muscle related, some are round ligament related, and some are Braxton Hicks. If the pain changes or goes away when you move, then don't worry about it. That's the conclusion I've come to!
Thanks @leighbrek have an ultra sound next week so that might help. First time prgnancy for me so freaked me out that it felt like a period. I was like wait I'm not suppose to have this lol
@brianawilde A lot of the experiences are unnerving, aren't they? Generally, if a pain goes away shortly, there's no bleeding, and baby's activities remain pretty much the same frequency (if you're feeling baby regularly and are closing in on 28 weeks), you're just dandy.
Ugh felt so pukey all day yesterday. I think it was just horrible acid reflux but it was hovering in the back of my throat all day and (sorry, probs TMI) I even threw up in my mouth a few times (when I was on a conference call presenting remotely, so that was great).
I went home early and took a nap and cooked a healthy dinner, felt way better. I hate how unpredictable & consuming some symptoms are, a new symptom unexpectedly comes out of nowhere then all of a sudden all I can think about all day is trying not to throw up. Makes me feel like a really sh*tty employee sometimes lol.
