I had no nausea, no symptoms really, until 2 weeks ago. I pee SO MUCH! My heartburn is crazy. I can’t sleep to save my life. I do have a bit more energy, but that’s about the only positive of the second trimester so far. Lol
@mandamay1414 with DD I got purple spider veins on my thighs so far I haven't seen any new ones, but I'm sure they're coming
Sleeping on my side this pregnancy feels like more work than before. For some reason it wasn't a problem last time, but this time it's been more uncomfortable or just annoying.
Anyone else feel so gassy/bloated all the time? Usually it's only after eating certain foods, but now it just feels like it's after I eat anything, which basically means I'm always uncomfortably bloated. Like i can feel my stomach getting bigger after eating. Blahhhh
@UnbreakableKimmySchmidt Add some potassium and magnesium rich foods to your diet - the leg cramps should subside then! I have to take an extra magnesium supplement for mine to go away since I'm magnesium deficient.

@sweetyjenj I’m having such a hard time sleeping on my side. I really need to bust out the pregnancy pillow because I was wake up on my back. The weird thing is that I’m typically a side sleeper (usually right side). And he’s my gas and bloating have been out of control.

@sweetyjenj ughhh yes gas/bloating & feeling full (and just crowded) after I eat. Also think I'm finally feeling baby but can't be 100% because of all the gas hahaha
19 weeks and my feet are not happy campers right now. So much swelling. Hip and back pain is starting to happen, and I can't tell if it's a pregnancy thing or flair ups of old injuries (I'm a former gymnast). Other than that, I'm doing pretty good!
Oh, also some food aversions. But I'll take food aversions over that awful nausea I had in first trimester!
al_vy I think flare up from old injuries and pregnancy bothering your hip/backs is kinda the same thing. I've found my old ankle injury (tear, surgery, hernia still) that runs up my shin bothering me and swelling more lately. I think all that rearranging, extra weight, and looser ligaments bothers old injuries.
I am so moody and just generally have a shitty attitude these days. I have never had it this bad in pregnancy before. I feel bad for my coworkers and moreso for opposing counsel on any of my cases.
Haha, reading through some of these was the best. I'm 17w 4d atm and I've had raging heartburn since like week 7. I'm Still nauseous, so sick of that. I'm constipated, I pooped the other day and it hurt so much I wanted to cry. I'm also a raging bee. I found a t-shirt that says My two moods: 1. Hello 2. I'll cut you. It's so true right now. I'm an inventory auditor and have inventory this weekend and the crap I've had to deal with in the last week with so many stupid people. Ughhhh. And I'm not looking forward to working at 12:05am on Sunday morning, mainly because most people at work still don't know I'm pregnant, and I cut out caffeine when I'm pregnant so... no coffee. I'm going to be dead by 830 am Sunday morning when I get off work.
@snackheart I am always such an ass when I am pregnant. I have a bit of a cold personality to begin with, but any warmth I do have tends to disappear the second I get KU. I have to actively remember to be nice / show interest in people’s lives. I also regularly remind DH that if DOES get better when I give birth. I don’t stay this way forever

I go from being a little bit hungry to so hungry that I feel like I'm gonna pass out/be sick in about 5 min... my appetite, weight gain, and bump have exploded in the last week. Guess this is an improvement on constant nausea, lol
Bought some natural cream/ lotion that's a mix of Shea butter, aloe, and essential oils. It's super greasy, but seems to have dulled the itching from "losing my mind" to "minor annoyance" level. Fx this continues to help going forward, as I was getting pretty desperate.
@AshVA I feel you. I've been oiling up twice a day to ease the itchiness. It's just my belly and boobs, where skin is stretching... But my god, it just looks weird when I'm discretely trying to scratch all day.
@leighbrek Ironically, those are the few areas I'm not experiencing much itching. For me it's worst on my feet and legs. I'm getting tested for cholestasis this week, but reeeeeally hoping that isn't the cause of the itching.

19+3 today, and I have some serious hip aches. I'm a FTM so I don't know what to expect but I'm guessing this is spreading. Also I have random aches and pains around my belly. I can't sleep to save my life. I'm hungry all the time and craving something but I don't know what, so I'm never satisfied. Oh and the occasional stabbing boob pain!

@TruStory The pains are probably round ligament pain. They'll be around the uterus, but not the actual uterus itself. I find it gets much, much worse if I haven't done #2 in a bit, so make sure you eat lots of fibre to keep things moving along.
Can we talk a little TMI about discharge? I know an increase in discharge is normal with pregnancy and I do remember it vaguely from my past pregnancies, but this time around PGAL brain is screwing with me.
Some days I am totally dry and other days I walk around with damp/wet underwear. Today I put on a liner. I know the whole "if it smells like pee it's pee and if it smells sweet it could be amniotic fluid" thing but honestly, everything just smells like vag so I dunno lol. Sometimes it's obviously slippery CM but other times it feels/looks more like liquid. Am I the only one? My mind is going to bad places.

@tosh24 It's normal, don't worry. I find that I'll sometimes get a very liquid-y discharge about 2 minutes after I pee, which is super annoying because I literally just left the toilet! Other days, nada.
Thanks for talking me off the ledge @leighbrek The after-pee liquid discharge is exactly what set my anxiety off yesterday. I woke up, went pee, then sat at the breakfast bar and played on my phone for a bit. Then DS woke up and wanted help with something in the toyroom. I walked upstairs and after a minute realized my underwear were wet (mostly toward the front of the crotch) and it was very watery. It was uncomfortable enough that I had to change my underwear. DH is convinced I peed myself because I was a little gassy while i was playing on my phone and he thinks some pee also slipped out, which is probably the most likely explanation lol but my brain automatically goes to the worst possible scenario.

@tosh24 I get like that sometimes, too, so I've taken to just wearing liners. It's unpredictable and icky, lol, and sometimes insanely inconvenient (like happening at work). Generally, though, if it doesn't have a weird smell, a weird colour, or any blood, it's pretty much nothing to think about. It's incredible how much gross stuff happens to women during pregnancy.
The nausea has subsided for me, and I am not really experiencing any adversions. I have started having really intense rectal pressure, everything Mr. Google says claims it's normal an fairly common.
I came to this party to complain about not being able to breathe. I don’t remember being so out of breath with #1. Also I’m not short so I’m not sure why my lungs are so impacted so early. I can barely get out a full sentence when walking and talking. It’s embarrassing/hilarious/annoying all at once.

Had to read this twice to realize it said PRESSURE not PLEASURE omg
Sneezing has become a challenge for me. Either I pee my pants a little or have what I can only since is rlp from the sudden movement or spray spit. This is because I can't hold my belly and cover my nose while doing a kegel. Ugh sorry for the tmi but at least I can laugh at myself, I'm thankful it hasn't happened in public!
@ersh1010 Add me to the sneezing and peeing club. I never had this problem with DD, but I'm guessing DD weakened everything and now this little dude is adding to the issue. I have to cross my legs when I sneeze
I have had terrible pregsomnia the past two nights. I'm beyond exhausted today. I'm also super-emotional and can barely talk without getting tearful. I must be super fun to be around right now lol
I’m 21 weeks today and just threw up for the first time. Has this happened to anyone else? Trying to figure out if it’s the stomach flu or pregnancy related. I also had some diarrhea but that’s been common throughout my pregnancy. Feeling ok now but not 100%. Of course DH is on a plane to Vegas for the weekend and I’m left to care for DD. Thank goodness my sister will be over in a few hours. I messaged my doctor, just random that it happened now if it is pregnancy related.
