bebesparrow twinges are good!! I was feeling crampy this last week but could be the progesterone too. And sore boobs. Have you tested yet?

@kristimh80 I hear you!!! Totally going nuts over the preg tests. I kinda wish I would’ve just waiting. Lol. I put myself through this torture.

@bebesparrow - I felt a ton of "things" the first three days but it's tapered down a bit. I feel ya.

@kristimh80 @Drove2u - estrogen and progesterone look good, they are not testing HGC (gah!), but Tuesday I will know!

AFM - suuuuuuper busy week at work so I've been passing out after the little guy goes to bed. Symptoms, I can't tell if they are from the meds, mental or PG, and I don't remember what it was like the last time. Sore boobs, moody, edgy, very light nausea both Thursday and Friday with mild headaches. My sister joked it was caffeine withdrawal but I haven't been drinking coffee every day and if I do it's usually 1 cup, do I disagree. I have noticed a decline in appetite, which I welcome because those first 2 weeks of meds, I wanted to eat all the things and the scale noticed. Tuesday is the official test so it can't come soon enough! Wednesday we head to NYC for 5 days so we'll either be celebrating with a nice dinner or, cocktails on the plane...

I think we have a couple transfers this week so good luck in advance!!!

@Drove2u though about you today when I found an old pregnancy test in my dresser drawer. I chucked it! Figured I made it a week and a half, what is three more days.

Thank you all for the positive thoughts! I have willingly made the 2ww worse. I tested yesterday and again today. Both were negative and I’ve convinced myself the transfer didn’t work. I’m a first timer and totally realize that I’m being unreasonable but the negatives sting.

@Drove2u thanks I’m feeling much better. Focusing on the happy memories and other distractions and feeling good except for some twinges here and there. She would want this to work so I’m visualizing it working with my new angel’s help, if that makes sense.

@kristimh80 I’m with you on wouldnt it be nice to just call doc if needed. I haven’t felt temptation to test. Thought I might but am enjoying imagining that it worked. I have managed to pretty much convince myself. DH and I have nicknamed ‘it’ sprout and he and I have been talking to my belly. I like to think that will help, hey I’ll try anything!!!

@kbear28 your appointment is so soon! Aaahhh!!! Does the wait get seemingly longer the closer you get? You’ve been steadfast in your no testing, hoping the best for you!

I will be driving 4 hours north to my clinic for my beta then turning around same day to get home with Call likely coming on my drive home that afternoon. Do I answer phone on car speaker or let it go to vm and pull over next rest stop? Not sure if I’ll be solo or if my mom will be my travel buddy for the day (really to help me stay awake since I get sleepy driving esp with no caffeine). Hmm...

@kbear28 Your symptoms are similar to mine the past couple of days, but I keep trying not to symptom check because idk if they are the meds either. My husband asked when I could stop taking my cranky meds LOL

@lizy181 Mine's the 20th...I wish it was later. I always dread waiting all day for the call and the call itself. I'd rather find out myself and need to call them to check it lol My main symptoms have been: today woke up with heavier / slightly sore boobs, yesterday I had some pulling feelings down low close to panty line (not sure what that was) and I guess moodiness (says my husband

). I did have that crazy cold spell one night and the following morning that was super weird. How are things going for you?

@Momifbysea Same here! I've had no urge to test yet either. It's still very early for us both! Same here...I've been randomly talking / singing to my belly and imagining it all happened

@kristimh80 I’m crampy, have some lower back pain and spent most of yesterday coming in and out of naps. No sore boobs or moodiness. This is weird to say but I feel empty. How do the betas work? Do you take multiple ones during the week or is it just the one. I’m completely ignorant.

@lizy181 I did the same thing to myself and still unsure if this pregnancy is going to work out. How many days post transfer are you? For betas it depends. If it’s 0 then obviously you’re done. If you get a number and are pregnant then you usually go back 2-3 days later to see if doubled. I believe I had 3 betas last time before you do an ultrasound.

@kristimh80 you are strong too!! Good for you for holding out.

@Momifbysea glad you’re feeling better. I can’t believe you have to drive 4 hours for your beta!!

@Momifbysea that really stinks you have to drive 4 hours for beta. My clinic in several hours away too, but last time I was able to do beta at a local hospital or office. I just went to the lab at a local hospital for bloodwork since it was on a Saturday. Is that an option for you? As far as getting the call, I just let it go to voicemail in case in was negative (which in my case I knew it would be) I wanted to be able to process it myself without having to be on the phone with someone. Also so my husband could listen with me.

@kristimh80 My beta is also on 7/20 and crazy thing is I woke up this morning with sore boobs for the first time and had tugging feelings last night before I went to bed. I'm trying not to read into anything and chalk it up to med side effects. I also took my temp and its 98.77 which is higher than the past 2 days but yeah still not reading into things..... lol....

@lizy181 They take 1 and if it comes back positive, they'll do another one a couple days later to make sure your #'s are doubling. Most clinics usually do 3 betas, then you eventually would have an ultrasound. Naps sound wonderful!! I took a long one yesterday too. Hoping to take another today after my small group meeting :-)

@Momifbysea I second what was said before...see if you can go to labcorp or something like that to have beta drawn locally. I had that done from my OB when was having my CP. Her office was across town so, they asked what lab was closest and I could go there and the doctor's office would call with results.

@lemondrop1976 Same here! I got up in a daze to let me dogs out this morning and thought "ouch my boobs hurt a little". Since then, I haven't noticed it much, but had that tugging feeling yesterday on and off a few times. I thought because was in the car a lot, it was from the way I was sitting, but it kept coming back. For the 1st time, I took my temp today and it was high too. But I didn't take it right away, so if I nap later, I'll try again! lol

@Drove2u I'm counting down the days until my lining check. This is the world's longest FET cycle. I had TWO friends give birth this week. So I'm like...come on already!

@lemondrop1976 @kristimh80 @lizy181 When I got my BFP last cycle I definitely had the lower ab tugging/cramping. FX that's a good sign for you ladies. Other than that it was really hard for me to tell about symptoms because of meds.

I am up to 6 patches now and I read online that you aren't supposed to have grapefruit juice with estradiol and I had a little yesterday! Gah! Grapefruit juice? Nobody told me that. It wasn't much so I'm telling myself it wont matter.

If was that serious, I'd think your doctor would have warned you...mine has never mentioned any foods interfering. Dr. Google can be our worst enemy some times! lol

6dpt and I’m sitting here and having some more intense cramping and lower back pain. I’m starting to get kind of scared. I had a lot of cramping and burning in my first FET and that was a BFN. Trying to be positive. Beta is on Wed. So tempted to POAS today when I get home from work. I will be 7dpt.

@Drove2u my transfer was on Friday in the afternoon so I think I am not yet at 3dpt. Cramping has considerably decreased and just feel empty.

Anyone I missed getting ready for transfer and in the 2ww, I'm sending all the positive vibes I can muster into the universe for you.

AFM: Transfer tomorrow. DH is kinda being a bummer about this transfer, he refuses to get any sort of excited until we not only get a positive but also get through the first trimester. I understand where he's coming from but I need my buddy to perk up a little bit. I was talking about it only being two days away yesterday, and he was like, yep, we're doing a thing Tuesday...He was more excited about going to see the Princess Bride Friday night in an old theater. We had so much positive energy going into our first transfer, but the MC took the wind out of both our sails...I guess I'm just a little more of the belief that we have to have positive energy for this to work. Like if he's gonna be this much of a downer DURING the transfer I'm not sure how I'll handle that...maybe I just need to ask him to fake it for my sake tomorrow.

@bebesparrow FX everything you're feeling are good signs!!

@lizy181 It's still way to early, so don't get down! The earliest you'll usually ever see a BFP on here is 5dp5dt, but there are so many that don't even get one until day 8 or 9. It'll take your HCG some time to double to show up even on the most sensitive test.

@ChristenMA83 That's why we are here...to be your cheerleaders going into your transfer!

Try not to let his mood affect you much. I'm sure it's his coping mechanism after everything you've both been thru. Otherwise, how are you feeling about this transfer? I know this time, I was more zen and positive all around. It seemed so different than my last one.

So I caved last night to POAS. It was negative, but considering how much water I drink, I wasn't a shocked, plus was only Day 5. This morning, I tried again with an ovulation test to see if it got darker than last night,. It did, so that gave me the guts to try another hcg test. There's a faint 2nd line today. These are silly internet cheapies, I'll get real tests later if these stay on track. I woke up defeated and mad for testing, so glad I did again for a glimmer of hope again

@kristimh80 oooh, yay for that faint line. I can't believe you're only 5DP, It feels like forever ago you transferred (and probably feels like longer for you).
Honestly I'm apprehensive about this transfer. Just being so quickly after the hysteroscopy has me nervous. And even though my lining is good at 11.9, it's type B and last time it was a nice triple layer type C and my RE was really excited about it. My RE doesn't seem nearly as positive this time around either from what I can sense but maybe I'm projecting. Like I'm even a little nervous about the embryo thaw and that didn't bother me at all last time - maybe because it's the last one we have in the bank. I dunno, I'll be happy when August is here and we know one way or another...and then, either way, I can worry about something else (either 1st tri or $$ for 2nd IVF).

Sorry for rambling, that's just where my head is today.

@ChristenMA83 Awe I get how your feeling 100%. Try your best to relax if you can, I can't imagine your doctor letting you move forward it the environment wasn't good for transfer. If you have doubts, maybe ask if they can fit you in today for a quick song to double check it all. Then you'd know without a doubt and maybe it would help ease your mind. It's our last embryo also...it gives me anxiety thinking about needing to save $$ again to do it all over. I will say, staying positive this cycle has helped all around. The hysteroscopy shouldn't affect transfer...if there was a little bleeding, think of it as a little scratch to help your little one implant

Thanks for posting that chart, it makes me feel better to see it! I'm actually 6 days today...so at the point of going crazy lol

@kristimh80 same here, my doctor never mentioned anything about food/diet at all at any part of my cycles except to drink electrolytes after my last ER. And fingers crossed so so hard your little faint line keeps getting darker!

@ChristenMA83 sorry it sounds like you and your husband have different coping mechanisms for handling this transfer. I think it is easier for them to put it out of their head and pretend like nothing is happening since they are not actively having to do anything. Reminders to take medications, appointments, waiting for phone calls, and being hypersensitive to everything going on in our bodies really is a mental undertaking. Having to face the reality so many times a day, you really do have to make the choice to be positive about it or else it can really make you go to a bad head space. I got “scolded” (lol) by my husband for being too guarded and pessimistic last time from the beginning, so I am really trying hard to be positive about it all and just had to straight up tell him “listen, I am going to be optimistic this time and talk like it is going to work, I really need you to be on board and go with it.” Of course, if you husband is having a hard time himself it may be hard for him to give you the support you need, and we are all here to help with that.

I keep going back and forth between thinking I'm feeling something and then not. But that timeline was really helpful in letting me know I probably wouldn't be feeling anything since I'm still implanting.

@lizy181 I am staying positive for you. It is waaaay early. I'm not sure its even possible to see anything on the test this soon. And the cramping you felt might have been implantation and that is why you don't feel it now.

Thinking of you ladies with transfers and betas this week. I'll find out Wed where I am at with lining and e2. I'm feeling better now but I felt like my e2 might have been spiking last night. It's very disconcerting and I need to get to Wed so I can stop thinking about it.

I was told to do pineapple core first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, otherwise the bromelin in it acts as a digestive aid. Good luck with it! I ended up chopping mine in tiny pieces and taking shots of it because it was so rough chewing.

@Momifbysea You're right...you're still implanting plus a lot of stuff we feel comes from the progesterone itself. Only thing I kept finding different was the light tugging feelings. But everyone is different. There's a lot of girls that never feel a thing. I always have to remind myself that if we were "normal", we would have no clue this was all going on

@ChristenMA83 Awe well just keep hanging here. We have a great support system this month. I told my husband this time, I didn't want to hear any of his work stress, worrying, etc. He's a known "worrier" and I caught myself before transfer starting to take that on and affecting me. Maybe in some way, if you can, block the negative stuff out and try to live in "bliss" for awhile. It helped me so much.
