    @foxbaby2016 have you settled on a FN yet? Might help narrow down the options. It sucky your family is pressuring you to use a name you don’t really like. I think everyone thought our twins were going to have their grandfathers FNs as their MNs but DH didn’t want to use his dad’s name so we warned everyone in advance that they would not have family names. I don’t think MIL believed us until she saw it written on the birth certificate forms lol. I digress, here’s some “Lynn” sounding names....

    @comealongponds I love the name Jocelyn.  Good suggestion!  

    As a side note, I can’t imagine pressuring my kids to use my name in any way when naming their children.  I get that it’s tradition for a lot of families but to actually say you should name your baby after me?  I would hope I wouldn’t do that to my kids lol.

    TTC #2 3rd cycle of Femara 7.5mg+Ovidrel+TI = 4 follies = BFP on 10/12/12 
    TTC#3 July 2014 - Metformin +TI = BFP at 9dpo - Twins, one baby lost at 5.5 weeks 
    Macy Annabelle born at 37w4d on 4/29/15.  Diagnosed with Cri du Chat and passed away on 6/6/15.  Forever in our hearts.
    TTC#4 3rd cycle of Metformin + Femara 7.5mg+Ovidrel+TI = 3 follies = BFP on 12/24/16

    Thanks ladies! And no, we really don't even have a first name picked yet but we have a few on our short list....we are clearly struggling.

    And I agree with you guys, it does suck that our families are pressuring us. I have a strained relationship with my MIL so I feel like it's going to be "a thing" if I don't use Lynn. As far as my family goes, I have a big, loud and very opinionated family so I'm not surprised. The only person that hasn't mentioned it is my mom but I feel like her feelings will be hurt if we choose not to use her name because it's been mentioned so many times.

    Slight rant here...
    DH and I had the name Olivia Kate picked out for our DD since we found out the gender months ago. A close friend just had her baby yesterday and STOLE our name!! Their entire pregnancy they had the name Alexis picked. I know Olivia is super popular right now but to use the exact combination we were set on?! Now I'm panicking a bit because I just don't want to use the same name now.

    @babybump1994 use the name you picked out and then refer to your DD as Olivia #1 anytime you talk to your friend, and her baby will be Olivia #2.

    Srsly, don't let her "steal" the name you wanted. Use it. Sorry she did that tho...it is really inconsiderate of her.

    Ok, I've reached a point where I really wish I had a stronger feeling about one name over the other, but I just don't. So I'd love to poll you ladies and see what you think. We are between the following two names:

    Ryan Samuel
    Zachary Aiden

    Thoughts?

    @babybump1994 ditto @moguippy did they know that was the name you were set on? I “stole” my bff’s favorite baby name of all time ever when my DD was born. BUT I had no idea it wasn’t her favorite name. I even asked her for ideas and what her favorite names were and she wouldn’t tell me. If it’s just a fluke crazy coincidence don’t let it get under your skin. If it was on purpose still try to let it go. Names can’t really be stolen. They don’t belong to any one person. I’m sorry you feel stressed about this though. It’s never fun to have to change plans last minute. I agree with others though- If you love it, don’t be afraid to use it still.

    @nimmle both are great choices.  Just on personal preference, I would go with Ryan because I've always liked that name.  I think the only downsides I can think of for Zachary are people shortening it to Zach (not sure if that's an issue for you) and also people spelling it incorrectly Zack vs. Zach.  But those aren't a big deal really.  I think I would just wait to see him and see what feels right.  That's what we are planning to do for our baby girl.  Because I can't commit!

    @nimmle Ryan is my choice too! I have many good friends named Zach though. I agree with @Sarafuss though about the spelling and the fact that he will rarely be called his full name but I don't see it as a huge deal!

    She knew it was my chosen name! She ordered me a onesie with the name in it and apparently a second for her LO. I know I could still use Olivia but it's just ruined for me now!

    @foxbaby2016 I LOVE Noa for a girl. DH and I considered it with our first child (before we knew the gender), but he's really close with his family, and there is already a Noah.

    Does anyone have good/bad opinions about the name Otto ( middle name Lee )? 

    We both said we liked the name yesterday, but I also worry about making a last minute decision this late!

    Otto is unusual but I have seen it popping up on IG for some reason, so I bet it's a little hipster in some parts of the country :) I like it and I guess I am biased because I just love the blogger I follow who named her second boy Otto.

    10 days till my due date and we still haven't picked a name. We decided to wait till we meet her because we just can't pick right now.

    I've mentioned names I like on here but recently I've added Eliana and Amaya to the list. Thoughts?

    @runsomewhere SAME for us! I also thought of Eliana the other day and added it to my list (so I also love it), but since baby is due in 2 weeks we are also just going to wait until she is here to name her.  Can't wait to see what you pick!
