Hi all, I’ve been lurking this board for few weeks now and finally got the courage to post. I’m FTM but ***TW*** this is my third pregnancy. I’ve been going thru fertility treatments for the last 2 years. The other 2 pregnancies ended with a MMC and a CP ***end TW***
I’m 16w 5d today. EDD Dec 6. I’m 42.5 years old and single so doing this on my own. Any other single moms by choice around here???
Not sure what promoted my OB to make me take the glucose test early on in pregnancy. But the one hour test came back with 204. So at 10w 6d I was diagnosed with GD. I’m petite and though I was afraid of many things going wrong with this pregnancy, GD wasn’t one of them. I’m already doing insulin shots at bedtime.
anyway, looking forward chatting with you all

Hello everyone! A little late to the game.... I will be 14 weeks tomorrow due date is Dec 26th. Still in shock about my due date, cant believe its so close to Christmas Day! I am 31 from California and we have a 3 year old son. Excited to find out if baby #2 is a boy or girl on July 13 :-)
@prudence9-2 A family friend of ours went through fertility treatments as well about 16 years ago and ended up with boy/girl twins. She isn't and has never been married. She's amazing and her teens are pretty great too! Good for you!!

Hi all! Finally feeling brave enough to post and to believe I might actually be having a baby. I have an almost-7-year-old who was conceived easily. She was so wonderful that we wanted more, but we've faced 4+ years of secondary IF, many rounds of IVF, and miscarriages. I don't really use the language of rainbow babies (I've had to come to terms with the idea that there might not ever be a rainbow), but we are really hopeful about this pregnancy; I'm 15 weeks today and so far everything looks good. My BMB with my first was fun, supportive, and hilarious, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.
DD Born July 2011
TTC#2 for 4 years: multiple rounds of IVF, M/Cs, lots of tears. Cautiously optimistic about #2 EDD 12/29/18
My name is Chelsey and I've been worried to join any groups because of previous early losses. We have one son and have decided to not find out the gender! My due date is Dec. 13th.
@Knottie673e6fc2405c41ed welcome, I'm grew up in central wv! Please consider changing your sn because it's hard to keep track of all those letters and numbers- there's a thread on how to do it right on the first page!
@Roeper27 welcome! We have a great group of PGAL (pregnant after loss) ladies that check in weekly! Look out for that thread to start tomorrow and join us!
Hi all! I'm a little late to the party, but have really enjoyed reading all of your good news! I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant with my first (a boy) and couldn't be happier. My husband and I have been together for 17 years, married for 6, trying for 5, and finally had success through our second round of IVF. We are beyond thrilled and cannot wait to meet him!
Congrats Ladies!! So I got my BFP May 1 I have irregular periods(Last period was December 2017) so it was hard to pinpoint when I exactly conceived.(having irregular periods I take a Preg. Test once a Month) Planed Parent hood just went off when I found out so it put my EDD Jan.2019. But when I had my first Dr. Apt July 3 measurements put me at 14 Weeks moving my Due date to December 31,2018!! This is my husband and I second child we have a 3yo son together. First pregnancy I had an Emergency c-section due to my son’s Heart rate and being in distress. Dr says we’ll try VBAC I’m so excited. I cried when I had to have a c-section I wanted an all natural no meds delivery.! Now we’re 16 Weeks and find out at the end of the month if our little New Years Baby is a Boy or Girl!!
Hey there December Mums - just another Australian here. This truly has been a whirlwind for me. When I found out I was pregnanat with my first small human I was caring for my Mum who passed away on May 3rd this year. It's been hard not having her to talk to. Now, I'm just over 18 weeks and I have super high blood pressure with no reason why - If I'm told to drink more water I think I may drown. It's my first antenatal appointment tomorrow and I'm nervous. My partners working so I'll be on my own. It's going to be quite surreal finding out the gender this week too. I'm unsure if I'm feeling movement or if its wind or what it is to be truthful. Hope all your journeys are going well.
Hi, everyone! I'm a little late to the party haha. Due December 5 with a baby BOY! First time mama in the middle of house renovations (because nothing is more motivating than the nesting drive!!). Excited and terrified and all that lovely stuff.
Hi all! I'm a newbie to both the Bump and pregnancy. I'm 26, 21 + 3 weeks, and our little boy is due around Dec 25th!
My DH and I started trying on Apr 4th and according to my OB, it must have worked on on THAT day. I feel so fortunate that we didn't have any trouble on that end, but so far the pregnancy has been very hard on me both physically and emotionally. I was diagnosed with HG in my first trimester, and I've been crutching hard on ondansetron since then. Recent attempts to stop taking it have failed immensely, and it almost seems to me that my body wouldn't be able to handle this without it. Nevertheless, I'm so excited to meet my baby in ~4 months, and I know it will all have been worth it when he's in my arms.
Congrats to all you other December moms! I'm so happy to be here, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else's stories and baby pics!
@kris_mo Welcome!! I am so sorry about the sickness. Hopefully you will be able to wean off the mess eventually. If not, st least baby is worth it!! ❤️

Hello everyone! I have been lurking intermittently for a little while. I finally got up the courage to introduce myself. I am a 35 year old FTM with an EDD of December 13th! We are having a little boy! Congrats to everyone else! Im looking forward to having a group of people to learn from and walk through this experience with!
Hello! Also been lurking and finally introducing myself. FTM in Chicago. EDD is December 17 and we're keeping the gender a surprise! Hope to get to know and support all of you in the next few months as we really get into this crazy journey!
Hi all! I suppose I should formally introduce myself since it's likely I'll be welcoming DD2 in December. DD1 is a May '16 baby. My official due date is Jan 8th but cervix issues have doctors suspecting I'll deliver early. My birthday is in late December and I cannot say I'm super excited for a holiday baby as one myself, but this pregnancy has shown me everything happens for a reason and it's all mostly out of my control. Parenthood is all about the lessons Thanks for the warm welcome on the other threads!!
Hello! My name is Trish and I am expecting my first child in December. My EDD is Dec. 16, I am currently 28 weeks, and we have been waiting for this baby for 6 years. We are very excited, but I will admit that I am super nervous. I look forward to getting any and all the advice that I can!
My due date is dec. 29th and I am having a boy. I feel like I've had your typical pregnancy as all the set stages of pregnancy I've been right on track with. However I gained all my weight in the first trimester, ate everything and had no morning sickness. Second trimester not significant weight gain and no cravings, a lot more energy. Third trimester I have no more appetite and have even started getting infrequent nausea n throwing up. I have actually watched my thighs n waist thin out as the baby and belly seem to get better it seems to be taking it straight from me. My doctor said it's fine and baby is perfect but just feels like nothing my friends have told me about. It's been an awesome n fun experience for me.
